The Space*PLEASE NOTE* Although I do try to be flexible, if you wish to stay in both rooms (i.e. there are 3+ people wishing to stay) it isn't always possible for me to not sleep in the house overnight (particularly at short notice!) so should this be the case, I will stay up in the converted loft -out of your way!- during your visit. Of course I'll fit around your showers/meals/whatever. I can usually arrange to be elsewhere, you need only ask : ) Guest AccessKitchen, Living room, Bathroom, Patio Interaction with GuestsQuite a bit - the house isn't exactly huge! But guests tend to describe me as "welcoming but not overbearing" ; ) The Neighborhood"Great location: a short walk to the town centre yet in a quiet residential area" Was how Tony Heald described it (check my reviews if you like!) Quiet neighbourhood situated within stumbling distance of Cheltenham's best parks, bars, restaurants, etc : D Getting AroundLots of public transport, I'm happy to advise. Might even run you around if you're nice ; ) Other Things to NoteI'm a super friendly & chilled host but if you break my house I break you! Smoking outside taverymuch.

There is a bathroom and separate shower room for guests, and you can use the kitchen, dining room, garden room, garden and table tennis room. All we ask is that you’re tidy, respectful and considerate! It is also a strictly non-smoking house. The single rooms are used by our children when they come to stay so some of their books and toys are around, but we will of course create ample space in the wardrobe and drawers for guests' use. Please let us know if you have any particular requests such as a second pillow or extra blankets. Being busy and both working, we don't offer breakfast. From the 10-16th of March the price of the room is higher than normal as I have to stay outside of the Cotswolds as the hotels/ rooms are all fully booked and very pricey. To cover my costs I have to raise the price for me to travel elsewhere and stay in a hotel myself and board my dog. However I try to keep prices reasonable to simply cover my overheads and not charge the silly prices that most accommodation establishments charge at this very busy time in Cheltenham. For the dates 10-16th of march inclusive the self contained annexe, complete with en suite bathroom, kitchenette, private entrance and private garden, tv and wifi, within a 10 minute walk must be booked in their entirety for the entire races week. You are getting your own mini cottage with all amenities within a short walk to the races. The holiday inn ( also near the racecourse ) is charging £450 a night. ( parking is extra) for a standard room on the same dates and lacks the privacy, charm and character of the cottage with free parking thrown in. Guest AccessGuests will have access to all of the amenities in the house, wifi, washing machine, tumble dryer, walled garden. This room also has the added bonus of it's own ensuite bathroom and private kitchenette area with own basic cooking facilities and seperate entrance and own private courtyard garden. It would suit a couple who wants privacy or someone who would like a longer stay in Cheltenham in particular as it is self contained, by arrangement it can be rented as part of the main house also which has a further two bedrooms, two reception rooms, full kitchen and family bathroom. Interaction with GuestsAs much or as little as they require. Some of my guests prefer their privacy, others want company. I have gone out for dinner or coffee with some guests and invited them to come along with me to events in The Cotswolds and other guests prefer their privacy which is highly respected. It is completely down to you the guest. The NeighborhoodThe proximity to the town centre and everything it has to offer whilst having the added bonus of being on a quiet street. The character features of the house and it's sunny south facing position. A beautiful walled South facing garden coneye with pond, fish, ducks, wisteria, plum trees, decking, smoking area and sunbathing area and outdoor glass covered living/dining room. We also offer a completely FREE service for you to get around from a-b, if we are free and able to. We are not a TAXI service so this is a completely free ride if you need it. We can direct you to free and secure parking near the house. There is parking in the bay's at the top of Marle hill parade for two hours at a time. Then parking is available from 10pm -8am on the street. At all other times you can park at the NCP on monsoon avenue or the car park next to chapel spa. The NCP is close, safe and convenient. If you are hiring a car to get to Cheltenham it's worth considering giving it back once here as it's entirely unnecessary to have a car during your visit as we are very central and within walking distance to everything.
