The NeighborhoodLess than 2 miles to Goodwood, you can walk if you are feeling fit! Our house is on a residential street to the East of the City centre. Chichester is an attractive Cathedral City with two theatres, cinemas, shops, cafes, restaurants and historical sights, close to the sea and the South Downs. Getting AroundOur house is within walking distance of the city centre and local amenities. There are buses and taxis for easy travel around the area, and ones that go between the Railway Station and the Goodwood motor circuit on event days. There are trains from Chichester to Brighton, London, Portsmouth and Southampton. Other Things to NoteOur house is not child friendly and we regret we cannot take children under the age of 16 Whilst a full refund up to 5 days before the booking will be made should you cancel , Airbnb will deduct fees from the refund.

Our boutique campsite is nestled in woodland at the foot of the South Downs, not far from the historic City of Chichester, the magnificent Kingley Vale, and a short drive from the glorious sandy beaches at West Witterings. Our yurts are decorated with a traditional deep blue pattern. Each wooden door is decorated with a unique hand-painted design. They are simply gorgeous and once inside, feel solid, sumptuous and welcoming. Each yurt comes equipped with a natural coir fitted floor, a wood-burning stove and a tea/coffee making kit . Yurts are lit with electric lighting, with colours you can adapt to your mood. They even have music equipment so you can listen to your MP3 player or ipod. Yurt sleeps max 2 adults + 2 kids: £175/night (Fri-Sun) or £125/night (Mon-Thurs) "They are simply gorgeous and once inside, feel solid, sumptuous and welcoming. Each yurt has a handmade oak double bed, a unique hand-painted table with two chairs, natural coir flooring with a large rug and sheepskins. Beautiful drapes in either red, green or white. An antique wood-burning stove with an evening’s supply of wood. A hamper to make tea & coffee. We can supply a travel cot for infants free of charge, but please note we do not provide bedding with the cot Teepee The Teepee: sleeps 2 people: £96.60/night (Fri-Sun) or £69/night (Mon-Thurs) Our marvellous looking teepee is for up to 2 adults with natural coir flooring. There is a table, lighting and a mattress on futon base. This comes with a duvet, pillows and a blanket. A tea and coffee hamper. The Teepee has its own barbecue and use of a communal picnic table. Guest Access•Communal areas include, the bandstand and hammock circle, large picnic tables next to the camp café, communal kitchen tent with washing up area; the outdoor wood-fire hot tub. •Bonfires: We light a complimentary large bonfire in the evening in the communal fire pit which is surrounded by wooden benches, so you and your guests can relax in comfort and enjoy the evening outdoors. Individual campfires are not permitted on the campsite. •Showers/ Toilets: We have 2 reliably hot, gas-powered showers on the campsite, one at each end of the campsite. There are 3 flushing toilets & 2 composting toilets on the campsite. •Hot Tub: Guests are welcome to enjoy our 8-12 seater wood-fired hot tub. The hot tub is a communal area and therefore guests are asked to shower before getting in. Smoking and drinking are not permitted inside the hot tub and children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times. Guests are advised to refer to Our Terms and read through the safety information and disclaimer before using the hot tub. •Smoking and drinking are not permitted inside the hot tub and children must be supervised at all times. •Smoking is not permitted inside the yurts or bell tents. •Water: Water butts are provided with each tent. There are 3 drinking water points on the campsite. •Food: Please do not operate camping stoves inside the tents. We have provisioned a work -bench outside each tent for preparing food, etc. •Catering: We have catering facilities onsite and offer breakfast rolls snacks and hot drinks from the camp café, for more information please email us. •Fires: The campsite has a large central fire pit, with benches all around, so you can enjoy an outdoor fire safely. We do not permit other fires around the campsite. •BBQs: You are welcome to bring your own BBQ so long as they do not burn the ground (i.e. disposable BBQ). BBQs must be placed at least 15 feet away from the tents. Please consider other guests when choosing where to place your BBQ. Alternatively, you may prefer to hire one of our large BBQs. We have a gas barbecue and a charcoal barbecue. We supply the gas but you will need to bring your own charcoal. We charge £20 for the hire of our BBQs to cover the time spent cleaning them after use. •Transport: We can assist with transport to and from the local train station and nearby Goodwood Estate. Please contact us to arrange this. •Parking: You will be able to park your car off road at the entrance to the campsite. Parking is situated 200 yards from the tents. Our team are on hand to help you move your luggage to your tents, please just ask. •Security: Our campsite is away from main roads, out of sight of passers-by. One of our team is always on site. We can provide padlocks to lock your tents while you are out. The entrance is locked at night so if you plan on arriving after dark, please call ahead to arrange access. •Dogs: We welcome dogs. Dogs must be properly supervised at all times, must not be dangerous and must not cause a nuisance or threat to anyone. No dog should be left unsupervised on the campsite. We expect all owners to be responsible and clean up after their dog. As there are livestock on the Farm and therefore you may be asked to keep your dog on a lead. Interaction with GuestsOne of our team is always on site during guest's visits. We like to welcome our guests upon arrival so we can show them the facilities and their tent/yurt. We are on hand to help guests light wood burning stoves if they so wish. The NeighborhoodThere are lots of interesting places to visit near the campsite. The campsite is located at the foot of the South Downs not far from... •Kingley Vale National Nature Reserve, including the oldest Yew forest in England and an Iron age Burial Mound. Once at the top of the hill you can see far out to sea and to Chichester in one direction and to the rolling South downs in the other. This walk takes 1hr 30 mins and is an easy level of difficulty. •Fishbourne Roman Palace and gardens is the largest Roman home in Britain. A great place to explore with the children. •South Downs Way which offers a really excellent variety of cycling routes. •Stanstead Park Country House hosts events from March and even has a miniature light railway which is loads of fun for the children. •West Witterings sandy beach has been a favourite family destination for generations. •The historic City of Chichester is a great place to wander, eat and shop. There is a farmer's market every 1st & 3rd Friday of the month. Chichester Cathedral is a great place to visit, with lunchtime concerts, free events and art exhibitions and the splendid Bishop's Gardens which offers a beautiful setting for a picnic. Getting AroundThe nearest train stations to the campsite are Fishbourne and Bosham, both have regular connections to London Waterloo. The best way to get around and visit the local area is by car or taxi. Other Things to NoteDirections from London: From the A27 Fishbourne Roundabout, take Fishbourne Exit. Turn right onto Salthill Road and continue to end of the road. Turn left onto the B2178, towards the village of East Ashling. Just after the sign for Oakwood School, turn right onto Chapel Lane, drive past St. Mary Sennicotts Chapel and continue down the track for 200 yards until you see a Farm Gate on your left, signposted 'Densworth'. Parking is sign-posted and located in the field on your right.

The SpaceEssentially it is bespoke quirky compact and very special space within the Southdowns National Park just 10 minutes from Goodwood Bosham and Chichester, which finished completion in late 2014 it comprises of a contemporary light and airy living area which benefits from underfloor heating, built in touch cupboards revealing fridge, microwave, Sony Television with freeview, Music speakers, tea and coffee making facilities, small petite iron, hair dryer also a modern comfy sofa and wifi availability, then leading off to the wet room which is fully equipped with a powerful shower with all fixtures and fittings of the highest standard. There is a mezzanine level that is for sleeping which has a quality medium/firm double mattress and accessed by a ladder at users risk! Reclaimed roof tiles bespoke large windows and locally sourced oak timber make up the external facade with a unique corner curve on one side. The oak timber features inside as well where the magnificent oak beams give great presence together with shelves displaying local woods such as Oak Elm Ash and London Plain, in all a hidden gem. There is a well renowned pub just a short walk away in the village for a leisurely lunch or dinner, a multitude of walks and bike rides surround you along with the close proximity of Goodwood, Bosham and Chichester so ideal for anyone wanting to enjoy their leisure time with all that this beautiful area has to offer. The Studio Lodge is a detached Annexe offering surprising privacy in such a small space, there is parking outside the main house and on entering the Studio Lodge you will have Wi Fi availability. The double bed is accessed via a ladder and is at users risk! The Wet Room embodies luxury, whilst the living area is tranquil with the touch cupboards revealing hopefully all the extra touches you may desire. We are very mindful of people's privacy and strive to ensure their needs are met as best we can. We are in the South Downs National Park in a small village and a such are blessed with wonderful bike rides and walks in the area. We are north of the A27 so have easy access to surrounding towns and villages all waiting to be explored. There is a limited bus service only, details available on request. The SpaceOur Shepherds hut was built locally by Round Hill Shepherds Huts and is situated in 3 acre grounds of the owners property a converted victorian barn. We are located just at the bottom of the downs. Great for walking and cycling. We have a riding stable within walking distance and a cafe restraunt in walking distance called Wellie's. It opens at 9am and closes 4.30pm and is open on Friday and Saturday evenings from 6pm. Guest AccessThey have access around shepherds hut as all self contained. If they need anything they can come and ask me. I will be happy to do anything to help there stay be the most memorable individual experience. Interaction with GuestsI will be on hand to welcome on arrival and if guests need any help they only have to ask. We can supply continental breakfast hampers as an extra. There will always be a starter hamper on arrival. Milk, tea, coffee etc The NeighborhoodWe have an amazing World Class Theatre in Chichester. Great Pubs and Restaurants within a few minutes by car or walking distance. Historic locations all around us to visit. Horse riding on doorstep. Idillic walking and biking South Downs Way. Also all the Goodwood festivities less than 3 miles away. Or have a romantic relaxed weekend. Getting AroundFrom airports you can get a train to Chichester and local Taxi to us. Should cost no more than £15 for Taxi. There are Buses but you need to walk three quarters of a mile to and from the bus stop. Other Things to NoteThe door on the shepherds hut is a stable door which you can open the top and leave bottom closed. We have disposable BBQs if you would like to BBQ. A brick area by shepherd hut is for placing the BBQ on. Use of fire a pit for a small extra charge for wood.

The SpaceOur family home can sleep 4-6 people and is spacious, clean and comfortable in a quiet residential area close to all the amenities in the centre of Chichester. Our lovely, well-equipped kitchen and dining area opens out onto a generous terrace and mature secluded garden, complete with outdoor dining table and chairs, chimnea and firepit for those warm evenings. For the kids (or adults!) we have a large trampoline. There are three bedrooms, a downstairs double with shower room and dressing area, and upstairs, a single bedroom and a large bedroom with single bed and double futon. There is also a family bathroom on the first floor with a shower over the bath. The lounge has a wood-burning stove, DVD player and HD Sky-box. Oh, and a piano! Interaction with GuestsA friend will be on hand to greet you and provide help, while we'll be available by phone and email throughout your stay. The NeighborhoodWe are a ten minute walk through the park to the renowned Chichester Festival Theatre and a further 5 minutes from the beautiful historic centre of the city, with its cathedral, galleries, cafes, restaurants and independent shops. The Goodwood racecourse, golf club, motor racing circuit and airfield are a ten-minute drive from here, and we are on the edge of the spectacular countryside of the South Downs National Park. Here you’ll find an abundance of wonderful places to visit, such as West Dean Gardens, the Weald and Downland Open Air Museum, Petworth House and many picturesque villages and small towns, each with their fair share of cosy, welcoming pubs. We’re also just a few miles from the coast and the huge sandy beaches of the Witterings, and the beautiful natural waterways of Chichester Harbour is just as close, with opportunities for sailing and other water-sports and easy cycle routes. The SpaceThe house looks down across the Sussex countryside and you can walk straight out onto established walks, past fields full of animals and alongside the river Lavant. West Dean College and Gardens is also within walking distance. The Weald and Downland Museum is a 5 minute drive, as is Goodwood racecourse. Chichester is a 10 minute drive and West Wittering beach is around 20 mins away. We have bikes you can borrow and wifi throughout the house. There is a large garden to enjoy and even pets to play with. Breakfast will include fresh eggs from my hens! Guest AccessA decent sized double room with inbuilt cupboards. There is a TV with DVD player and films (no TV reception upstairs I'm afraid), and the TV in the living room has Sky. There is unlimited wifi throughout. There is a separate bathroom with a bath and you will find it very peaceful at the top of the house, with amazing views from the bedroom window. We also have mountain bikes you can borrow. Interaction with GuestsWe both work but have plenty of local knowledge to share, especially on the best country pubs to visit. Because the room is at the top of the house you can have as much or as little privacy as you wish. The NeighborhoodThis area has so much going for it: countryside, a world famous racecourse, beautiful beaches, the cathedral city of Chichester, and some fantastic gastropubs. Portsmouth is less than 30 mins away and historic Arundel, complete with castle, is even nearer. Our home is a great vantage point from which to explore Sussex. Getting AroundThere is a bus stop outside the house, with buses going to Chichester and Midhurst in either direction. We also have bikes you can borrow and ample parking space.

The SpaceFamily home, accommodating 4-6 people in the historic market town of Chichester in beautiful West Sussex, close to the beach and Goodwood, easily accessible to London and Brighton. Our family home has been recently updated. It is cosy, clean and relaxed and brilliantly located near the centre of Chichester. A well-equipped open plan kitchen, wood-burning stove and good-sized garden make it an ideal base for a lovely break to exploring the area. It consists of two double bedrooms, (we will keep the nursery closed for storage) one with a double bed and one with a kingsize bed and the lounge has a sofa bed. There is an upstairs bathroom with bath and shower and a downstairs toilet. Although we normally just rent out the two double bedrooms and sofabed, we can be flexible and offer the children's room with prior arrangement. We have recently extended at the rear of the house so now have a large open plan kitchen, dining room and family area with utility cupboards. This means there is a second living room area if the lounge is being used as a bedroom. The kitchen opens out onto decking and the garden. The good sized garden includes a barbecue and table for outdoor dining and there is a driveway at the rear for off road parking. We are a 7 minute walk into town for good coffee, restaurants, galleries including Pallant House, Chichester Festival Theatre, the beautiful Cathedral, cobbled streets and great shopping. We are a 20 minute drive from the beautiful sandy Wittering beaches, (popular area for sailing and water sports like kite-surfing and windsurfing) a 10 minute drive from the South Downs (great for walking and biking) and Chichester is surrounded by beautiful rural Sussex villages, country side and good pubs in the South Downs. Goodwood is less than 3 miles away, famous for world class motor sports and horse racing. Goodwood hosts annual motor sports events, Festival of Speed and Goodwood Revival as well as Glorious Goodwood horse races. The lively town of Brighton is a short drive or train journey away and London is a direct journey from Chichester train station (as is Gatwick airport). The SpaceWisteria Cottage is a set just to the east of Chichester city centre and is within about a 20 minute walk of the wonderful selection of shops, cafes, bars and restaurants the city has to offer. The location is also very convenient for transport links, so the house makes a great base from which to explore the south coast of England, with Chichester also having a rail link direct to London. The Goodwood Estate, now famous for its horse racing and motor events, is just a few minutes’ drive away. Wisteria Cottage is a beautifully renovated Chichester town-house which was completed in 2012. It has a small south facing front garden and large secluded walled garden behind the house with garden furniture in a sunny corner in the afternoons. The house has a bright and spacious south facing sitting room at the front of the house. The kitchen/breakfast room has a feature L-shaped bench seat made from an old church pew in the dining area. There is a full range of kitchen units equipped with a toaster, kettle, electric cooker with oven and hob, microwave, washing machine, deep freeze and all the kitchen utensils you should need. On the ground floor the “Garden Room” is an en suite bedroom (4 ft. double bed) with wardrobe. This opens to a lovely garden sitting room with sliding doors leading to the mature and peaceful back garden. En suite shower room with shower, hand-basin and wc. On the first floor there are 3 bedrooms and a family bathroom which has a shower over the bath, wc and hand-basin. There is a really large double bedroom with 4’ 6” double bed and big wardrobe. Chichester is an historic cathedral city with strong Roman connections and has an enormous array of things to do and places to visit. These attractions include the internationally renowned Chichester Festival Theatre, attracting actors and visitors from all over the world, the beautiful cathedral in West Street and various museums. The city is blessed with a variety of beautiful architecture with great care having been taken to preserve its character. The ancient walls surround the city centre and one can walk along them through various scenic parks, well stocked with pretty flowers. There is a thriving tennis and squash club, along with various fitness and health clubs and there is an interesting selection of shops and restaurants, the latter offering excellent choices for the most varied culinary tastes. Just to the north are the stunning South Downs, with lovely rolling countryside and as well as several Downland villages. There is the world famous Goodwood horse racing track to visit, along with the motor sports events held annually. Golf and polo are played at Cowdray, near Midhurst. The Weald & Downland Open Air Museum offers a wonderful family day out with lots of ancient crafts displayed. Just a few miles to the south of the city there are some superb beaches, including the sandy beach at West Wittering. The house has a view to the sea and we have a heated outdoor pool in a large garden with only 3 other houses up a quiet cul-de-sac 15 mins from Chichester town centre. The SpaceA functional, large, modern three bedroom town house with an office (which will be locked whilst guests are here) with free wifi and two bathrooms (one of which is a downstairs shower room). The house has free parking for one car and off street parking as well. There is a small, South facing back garden which is well furnished and has a BBQ which can be used. The neighbourhood is quiet and very safe. Conveniently located five minutes walk from the famous city centre of Chichester. Two minute walk from the famous Chichester Festival Theatre set within the beautiful Oaklands Park. 7 miles from West Wittering beach. We are just under 3 miles from the Goodwood Estate (9 minutes drive) which makes the house an ideal base for the famous Festival of Speed and Revival) The Chichester Yacht Basin is a couple of miles South of us. There really is so much to do here! This is a perfect family home with plenty of games, Sky TV and a Wii that can all be used. The house is not ideal for people with disabilities as it's a three storey house with the living room and kitchen on the first floor. There is also an internal garage that can be used for bikes etc if you're intending to bring them. Please let me know in advance if you intend to do this. There is a bus stop about one minute walk away and the local train station approx a 20 minute walk away. There will be basics in the fridge (milk, tea, coffee & juice) so you don't need to rush out to the shops on arrival. Please let me know in advance if there is anything in particular you will need. A taxi costs less than £6. Trains go all along the south coast and to London and Gatwick frequently. Cycling around Chichester is easy. We often walk into town and it takes about 10 minutes. We can help arrange a taxi to and from Heathrow and Gatwick if necessary. Parking is available in our driveway. Lowood Barn is in the grounds of Lowood House and offers ample secure off road parking. The Barn is self contained with excellent facilities to make your stay as comfortable as possible with Super King bed, tea & coffee maker, fridge & microwave.  There is a en-suite bathroom with shower, TV and plenty of books to borrow. If you require a single bed for a child/3rd person, we can easily accommodate this request. The rural location provides you with the opportunity to go on some lovely walks, Bosham Harbour is just across the fields where you have a choice of traditional pubs that offer hearty sustenance for the return walk home. Getting AroundPublic transport is very easy with Fishbourne train station only a 7 minute walk away with regular coastal services to Portsmouth and Brighton. The bus runs a regular service appx every 20 minutes from the top of the lane.

        This attractive family house was recently completely refurbished. The house is surrounded by is a large, secluded and well maintained garden with a pretty south facing terrace overlooking a 32 ft x 16 ft heated swimming pool (open July and August and outside these dates by arrangement). Adjacent to the terrace is an attractive vine and wisteria covered pergola with outside dining area below complete with teak table and chairs and outside heater. Upstairs the accommodation comprises 4 large bedrooms, two with king size double beds and en suite bathrooms, and two with twin beds and a further family bathroom with separate shower. Downstairs the accommodation comprises a hall (30ft x 12 ft) a fully equipped family kitchen/dining room (15 ft x 24 ft), large living room (22ft x 13 ft), second living room with log fire (16 ft x 13 ft), two WCs (one with shower) and a utility room.             Part of the village but with the rolling Sussex countryside all around us, this is the perfect UK summer spot. Set in the heart of the Goodwood estate, we are handily placed for all the summer car and horse-racing events at Goodwood. Further afield, the huge, sandy West Wittering beach is a short drive away. Perfect for road and hill cycling (there are hundreds of tracks), you can also explore historic Chichester, visit Arundel Castle nearby, or just lounge in our pretty, flowering garden, which also has table tennis, a decked area for eating al fresco, and a further upper garden where you can enjoy sundowners while overlooking the fields and hills. We recently acquired a lovely Indian tent from which you can still enjoy the view, while being sheltered from the wind. East Lavant is a charming Sussex village with many houses built in the flint / brick combination typical of the area. We have 2 award winning pubs within a mile of us. The family house is colourful and friendly inside, with 2 comfy receptions and a big kitchen with sofa and eating area. From here there are French windows which lead onto the garden. Upstairs there are 2 double rooms (both with kingsize beds) and 2 singles. There is one family bathroom upstairs, and a shower room downstairs.There is off street parking for 2 cars, and a small garage with a selection of bikes for your use.               Delightful 2 bedroom listed cottage is set in a rural location with a stream in the front garden. The property is 5 minutes walk away from the town centre and foreshore and 7 walk away from train station with links to Brighton and London. The lounge area, has a sofa bed, which can accommodate two people if needed. There is also a wonderful large open fire. Dining room table. The Galley kitchen leads on from this and is decorated in a cottage style. The large bathroom is at the back of the kitchen and has a bath with hand held shower. You will have access to the whole cottage along with a large rear garden which has space for bbq and table and chairs. The garden has a shared access.The cottage does not have a tv, but there is an aerial should you want to bring one with you, you will however, have to purchase a temporary tv license. It's all here to enjoy – in Emsworth Tucked away in the south east corner of Hampshire on the shore of Chichester Harbour, Emsworth is a quiet and attractive yet vibrant and dynamic town where residents wouldn't live anywhere else and visitors can be sure of a friendly welcome. Emsworth is popular with sailors, artists, naturalists and walkers. The two tidal millponds to east and west are host to a variety of wildlife. Emsworth has a long history connected with oyster fishing and boat building and still boasts traditional shipwrights and chandleries. Its attractive streets are lined with a mixture of architectural styles and high walled gardens and a walk around the town gives a genuine feel for the past, with exceptional harbour views.
