The SpaceThe house is quite literally in the middle of nowhere... There are plenty of horses and people around most of the time though. The room offers a very comfortable double bed and there is an open log fire in the sitting room in winter. Guest AccessGuests have access to the ground floor (kitchen, snug and sitting room) of the house, all of which is shared with the exception of the bedroom! The bedroom is also on the ground floor. Guests are kindly requested not to venture upstairs, that is the only private area of the house. Interaction with GuestsThe room is within our family home so while you do not have to interact you would be welcome to join the family if you choose to. The NeighborhoodYou would love the silence and the chattering of the birds! Very little mobile signal though so peace is almost guaranteed. Getting AroundNo public transport so personal transport of some description is essential! Other Things to NotePricing is room only. Breakfast and dinner are available at an extra cost. The house is our home with a dog at a busy working stables in a rural area... Due to this sometimes there will be muddy boots in the entrance hall or dog hairs on the carpet... While we apologise for this in advance (just in case you are offended) we will make sure the areas that you solely occupy, e.g. your bedroom and ensuite, are clean and tidy with crisp clean sheets for your arrival. Please remember that this is our home, not a hotel.

Welcome to our romantic, cosy cottage, set in the delightful south Lincolnshire village of Castle Bytham. Our lovingly restored barn conversion offers bags of character, combined with comfort and style. Exposed stone walls and natural oak are set off by luxurious furnishings and contemporary touches that even extend to large flat-screen TVs and Blu-ray players. Our work regularly requires us to stay at top hotels around the world, and we have used that experience to create a fabulous boutique-style home from home. Attention to detail is the key here – from craftsman-made cupboard doors to the chic feature roll-top bath. This self-contained one-bedroom cottage is perfect as a romantic hideaway at any time of the year – just the place to snuggle up in front of the wood burner-effect gas fire after a long walk in the countryside. That said, the property is equally well suited to families or two couples, as there is a very comfortable sofa bed in the lounge. Situated at the end of our drive, the cottage has off-road parking for up to two cars and a lovely patio area for the exclusive use of guests. Glen Cottage enjoys a wonderfully peaceful setting, and is within easy walking distance of two pubs (serving excellent food and real ale). Children are welcome; but unfortunately we are unable to accommodate pets, or smokers.
