Your apartment is situated on the very edge of both Ilkley spa town and Ilkley Moor. You are literally on the Moor as soon as you walk across the cattle grid at the entrance gates! Whilst there is little traffic other than the odd passing sheep, deer or pheasant, you're not going to find yourself 'in the middle of nowhere' staying here. It's a rural location with Ilkley itself just ten minutes stroll down through the woods. All the key places - town and country - that you might want to get to are within easy reach (by road or by rail). As a base for sight-seeing in Yorkshire and The Dales, it's hard to beat! The majority of the major sights (such as York) are within an hour by car, Dales Bus or train, and a large number, such as Bolton Abbey, Skipton, Harewood, Harrogate, BrontĂŤ Country and the heart of The National Park are within half-an-hour. A day out at the seaside is also a viable. Morecambe, on the west coast, is less that 90 minutes away, and Scarborough and Filey, on the east coast, about the same. Straight out of the gates onto Ilkley Moor, or just a few minutes walk into the upmarket spa town of Ilkley

CD/ipod music system. The lounge opens on the garden area with table and chairs. There is also a small raised area which overlooks the beck and fields with cows and sheep. There is a spiral staircase to the upstairs. It's very sturdy and after a couple of uses you'll be zipping up and down it! Master bedroom with king size brass bed and charming outlook over fields. Lots of wardrobe and drawer space. The 2nd bedroom has a double bed, large chest of drawers but limited hanging space. Very cute bathroom with slipper bath, and separate shower. Getting AroundA short stroll to the bus stop for Ilkley and in the other direction Skipton. Trains from Ilkley to Leeds and Bradford and beyond. Other Things to NoteThe paved garden is also accessible from the side of the cottage and is a safe place to leave bikes. Sorry there are no photos of this area at the present time. The photos will be updated in May but I can assure you the outside space is of the same standard as inside.
