The SpaceTour van which can accommodates 2 people! There are good transport links to and from all motorways, and you'll also have easy access to trains(5 minute walk) and buses can be caught at the end of the drive. Manchester and Liverpool airports are within 20 and 35 minutes by car.. Chester is an interesting walled city some 18 miles distance. Liverpool and Manchester are within 35 minutes with good theatres and museums. Northwich town centre is 1.8miles away. Knutsford has excellent pubs and restaurants and is 10 minutes away by car or train. Delamere Forest is close by with pleasant walks and a well known bird sanctuary. We invite you to relax in the garden or the 2.6 acre wood (though you'll have to get past the geese who patrol the area). New laid eggs from our own hens are available. You will receive a warm welcome and helpful advice whether holidaying or on business.

It's also the perfect overnight stop if you're flying to/from Manchester International Airport. The accommodation comprises of 3 double rooms, 2 twin rooms, and a family apartment (sleeps up to 4), in newly refurbished interiors (renovated in February 2013). The 5 rooms are located in the former stables, & on ground level. The apartment is on the second storey, and benefits from its own kitchen, dining & lounge area. All accommodation has en-suite facilities. Optional continental breakfast available at an additional £5.00 per person, per night. Please confirm at time of booking. The bustling town of Northwich has numerous supermarkets & coffee shops: Waitrose, Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Costa Coffee. As well as Marks and Spencer, WHSmiths, Bratts Department Store to name but a few. The SpaceWe have lovingly restored our farm house (there is still a lot of work to do on the landscaping) over the last 5 years. The old barn has now become a separate wing connected to the house, with the 2 new bedrooms and bathrooms that are our B&B rooms. With their own front door you can come and go as you please. The rooms are modern and fresh but homely too. High insulation and underfloor heating means they are quiet and cosy. The water is heated via our solar panels and air source heat pump. With a desk with wifi this is an ideal base for a business person. Guest AccessGuests have access to their room via a separate entrance to the main. Free parking at the front door. We have key safes we can use to leave you keys if needed. There is a fridge and kettle for our guests to use in the utility room next to the bedrooms and we leave you a light breakfast for you to help yourselves. No use of the Living room or the rest of the house I'm afraid. Interaction with GuestsWe will welcome you with open arms. We both work so may not be around all the time and we will assume you want privacy and piece. Of course if we can help with any information or special request we will. The NeighborhoodComberbach is a lovely Cheshire village with a church, post office, garage and a pub (7mins walk). Marbury Park has lovely walks and it connects to the Anderton Boat Lift only 2 miles away. Nearest towns Northwich (7 mlies), Knustford (12 miles) and Warrington (9 miles) where there are shops and supermarkets. We are on The Cheshire Cycle Route so there are cyclist are everywhere! Horse Riding is available at Cheshire Riding School 2 mins walk away. The great cities of the North West, Manchester, Chester and Liverpool,are in easy reach - see below. Getting AroundManchester and Liverpool airports are in easy reach. There are train links from Northwich to Manchester, Liverpool and Chester. Nearby Hartford links to London and Birmingham. Trains from Warrington go north to The Lake District, Glasgow and Edinburgh. There is a local bus to Northwich and Warrington - not very frequent. Good taxi service. Other Things to NoteThere is still some work to do on our landscaping and garden so please excuse how it looks on the outside but its comfortable inside. It will improve as the year goes on!

A 17c listed building which has been maintained to keep all of its original featuresLarge lounge and dining area with exposed beans and A frame timbers . Small double sofa bed downstairs.There is a spiral staircase to the double bedroom . Kitchen has cooker, microwave , nespresso machine , fridge , iron .Linen and towels provided .The bathroom has a shower only and is small due to the nature of the building. Parking in front of building .Sky TV , internet .Close to the pretty town of Knustford ( 10 mins) plus Manchester and Chester 25 mins . Pls note we are on the main A50 and though The barn has thick walls there can be some road noise at certain times. Allostock is a small village outside of Knutsford . Holmes Chapel and Knutsford are 10 mins away by car . The towns are pretty and have great shops and restaurants . There are lovely walks arounds the area and within walking distance of the barn there are three lakes . Tatton park is in Knutsford and has beautiful gardens and walks plus a farm shop and tea rooms , everything for the family . Chester and Manchester are 25 mins away .

The SpaceThe mid terrace period ex. Lock Keepers cottage comprises of a hallway, lounge (sitting room) with 2 reclining 2 seater sofas, a coal/wood burning open feature fireplace, large wall mounted TV with Sky and free view, dining room with solid fuel feature fireplace, dining table with 4 chairs and furniture, a brand new fully equipped kitchen with microwave, hob, oven, washing machine, dish washer and cooking equipement. Upstairs there are two double bedrooms each with double beds, luxury bedding and ample wardrobe space. The large bathroom has a bath with 'over' electric shower, toilet, sink, heated towel rail and plenty of brand new fluffy towels. To the rear of the cottage are 3 gardens, each with their own seating arrangements, plus a jetty (mooring) with seating over looking the back river, where there are ducks, swans and numerous birds to watch. There is an apple, plumb, damson and cherry tree where you can help yourself when in season (make slow Gin with the damsons). To the front of the house is a gated garden with seating where you can view the barges and cruisers pass in the manned working locks. The river can be fished in the open season and equipment can be hired, we can also provide bait etc. Lovely riverside walks are at the door step, a walk to the public house, The Leigh Arms, takes about half an hour, it's a beautiful trek! Neighbouring properties have horses and chickens. Guest AccessLocated on a small island and accessed by a picturesque lane along the tow path of the Trent & Mersey Canal. Surrounded by water, The River Weaver with the famous working Salterford Lock at the doorstep. This is a s narrow path, accessible by car. Parking and mooring is available. Interaction with GuestsWe will welcome our guests in person, explain about the area, the finer details of the home and then leave our guests to their own devices, however we will be available to meet any needs/requirements. We only live 1 mile away from our lovely holiday cottage. The NeighborhoodWatch the canal boats and river cruisers from the front window's or garden, feed the ducks and swans at the back. You will be spoilt for choice with an abundance of excellent country pubs in the surrounding areas, including The Bells of Peover. However if you prefer a cosy night in, why not order a delicious casserole or other similar dish, which can be provided on request.         A 17c listed building which has been maintained to keep all of its original featuresLarge lounge and dining area with exposed beans and A frame timbers . Small double sofa bed downstairs.There is a spiral staircase to the double bedroom . Kitchen has cooker, microwave , nespresso machine , fridge , iron .Linen and towels provided .The bathroom has a shower only and is small due to the nature of the building. Parking in front of building .Sky TV , internet .Close to the pretty town of Knustford ( 10 mins) plus Manchester and Chester 25 mins . Pls note we are on the main A50 and though The barn has thick walls there can be some road noise at certain times.

You will be spoilt for choice with country dining pubs in the surrounding area or if you prefer to eat in we have a spacious dining kitchen with a charming window seat suitable for up to 6 guests. It includes all the amenities you would expect (electric cooker, induction hob, microwave, integrated appliances including dishwasher, fridge, freezer and washer/dryer). We provide a welcome hamper on arrival with all the necessary essentials. We also offer the option of a casserole (or other dishes) if required. Please leave our home in the same condition as found on arrival. Minimal cleaning fee only covers basic cleaning.
