The house includes a living room, dining room, modern kitchen, four double bedrooms a bathroom downstairs with a shower and toilet, and a shower room upstairs with a seperate toilet. The house is spacious but only has parking for 1 guest car, but there is car space available within a 1 minute walk from the house. Plymouth University is only about a 5 minutes from the house, and the Hoe and the waterfront are about 25 minutes walk from the house. The £40 quoted is for a large bedroom with a double bed, TV and your own sink unit. You can also use the living room to watch TV with me, that is if you want to.(see pictures). The SpaceWe love our home and hope you will love it too! Flooded with natural light, and completely white washed, there is a certain charm about the house and has a quirky feel as one wall is set at a slightly different angle to the rest of the house! We want you to feel at home - feel free to use the garden, kitchen, sitting room. Guest AccessYou will have access to the communal parts of the house - kitchen, sitting room, dining room, garden etc. There is space in the fridge for your food. The street is not the prettiest in Plymouth, but the neighbours are a delight. Since we live on a typical victorian terraced street, its possible that there may not be a parking space directly in front of our house (in fact it is not possible to park outside the house as it is a turning circle and there are double yellow lines). There should be parking on our street, but if there isn't, there will definitely be spaces on nearby roads - St Gabriels Avenue being the road I choose when I can't find a space. Interaction with GuestsWe are relational, enjoy hosting people and love a chat. We are happy to share our knowledge of Plymouth with you and suggest places to visit, eat out etc. We are flexible and in the past have taken guests into the City, to the pub, cooked dinner for them and other things. We cannot promise that we will do this for you as it just depends on what's happening on the day. But we do enjoy sharing our lives, our home and our city and will try to do so if appropriate. We also respect your privacy and hope that you would respect ours also. We tend not to serve cooked breakfast to our guests but in the past I have made special breakfast smoothies for guests on certain diets. This comes out of relationship formed, rather than request submitted! The NeighborhoodPeverell is a quiet, attractive part of Plymouth, walking distance to Central Park (5 mins), Mutley Plain shops (5 mins) and pubs and even walking distance to the City Centre (25 mins) and the Hoe (35 mins)! Getting AroundThere are buses at the end of our street and on Mutley Plain just 5 mins walk away. Other Things to NoteWe have just become new dog owners (Jan 2016). Our 18 month old dog tends not to bark and is extremely friendly and inquisitive. The guest room has a lock on it from the inside to prevent Coco from disturbing you as well as a latch on the outside to stop him getting into your room! If you are planning to stay longer than 1 night, please feel free to use the kitchen to cook. Depending on the arrival time of other guests, check-out time may be flexible. If we are free, we may be able to pick you up from the station. We are Christians but don't generally talk to our guests about our faith. The guest room has books in it but nothing that guests may find offensive.

Interaction with GuestsWe will be sharing our home with our guests (and our 2 cats), however we can offer as much or as little interaction as you would like. We can give lots of local knowledge for Devon and Cornwall and even show you some of the sights, or just leave you to it if that's your preference. The NeighborhoodThe best thing about our neighbourhood is the fact that we live in what feels like a well serviced village with it's old English pubs and local park (with an amazing 360 degree view of the moors), yet we are a short walk into the city. Getting AroundThere is on street parking on the adjacent streets to us, however if you are coming via train or bus we are also very close. You can even walk to the main ferryport if you're planning to continue onwards to France or Spain! Other Things to NoteLocal facilities, within 2 minutes walk, include around 10 pubs, an amazing Indian restaurant, supermarket, pasty shops and takeaways.

The SpaceA 2 bed Plymouth apartment in The Royal William Yard. An apartment, combining state of the art style, contemporary cutting edge design and Grade 1 historic architecture. Located in a world-class development, with stunning sea views in an elevated position on Plymouth Sound and the Tamar Estuary. It is a superior and highly exclusive luxury apartment on the waterfront, with spectacular panoramic sea views from the development and the internal water basin, across the Plymouth Sound and over the Tamar, to the beautiful Cornwall scenery and National Trust estate of Mount Edgcumbe. The Plymouth “New York” style apartment faces southwest and has a stylish lounge with exposed beams, internal columns, stone walls, oak floors and dual aspect windows, allowing the sea view to enter the apartment. To enhance the view and bring the outside into the apartment, one of the windows are stunning original floor to ceiling double doors that open inwards to the lounge with a Juliet balcony. Facing southwest the apartment enjoys the benefit of afternoon and evening sun. This apartment has been converted, furnished and decorated to the highest possible standard in a modern contemporary design. The design is clean, contemporary and restrained in contrast to the dark, rich historic atmosphere, emphasising the ancient and the new. A modern designer kitchen, luxury bathroom and entertainment systems have tastefully been installed. This apartment is truly a superior Plymouth apartment with the highest luxury specification, design and detail. The Royal William Yard is an ever increasing development with new restaurants, lounge bar dining, marina and businesses. These include the Seco Lounge, Prezzo, Bakery, The River Cottage Canteen and Deli, Wagamama, Las Iguanas, Le Bistro Pierre, Le Vignoble wine tasting and Martin Bush Gallery. The Apartment is conveniently above the Seco Lounge, located in the heart of the development and access to all the facilities. The apartment is above the Seco Lounge with double bay doors. So the apartment is subjected naturally to higher noticeable noise levels from the outside seating areas and Al Fresco dining. However as part of the business conditions in the royal william yard, leases and licenses, these tables have to be vacated by 22:30 pm. Most are vacated at 22:00. So it should be noted that at times of good weather the Royal William Yard atmosphere will be noted in the apartment. The apartments having heritage 1 windows are not soundproofed. The Royal William Yard in Plymouth originally conceived by Samuel Pepys when he was secretary to the Navy in the 17th century and constructed by Sir John Rennie between 1825 and 1831. Designed as both a factory and supply depot for ships victualing needs, here the Royal Navy refueled with rum. It continued to supply right up to its closure in the early 1990s, which has now been redeveloped into a world-class development. The apartment is centrally located on the Plymouth waterfront, close to all attractions and facilities. The sophisticated luxury apartment has fantastic views and overlooking the marina in the Royal William Yard. As the apartment overlooks the Royal William Marina (Royal William Yacht Harbour) there is also the availability of berths within the Marina. The Berth fees vary on the size / length of the boat and period of stay. The period of stay is either short stay (4 hours), 24 hours, weekly or Monthly. Therefore it is possible to moor you boat within the Royal William Yard and overlook your yacht or powerboat from the luxury sea views apartment. In addition to the Royal William Marina there are also berths available at Mayflower marina, which is opposite the Royal William Yard. There is also a regular water bus (ferry service) from the Royal William Yard, which transports people to the Barbican in the centre of the city and operates from the 1st May to the 30th September. Within the Royal William Yard there is the Seco Lounge restaurant and bar, Martin Bush Gallery, the University of Plymouth Fine Arts exhibitions and the Royal Navy visitor centre. There is 24 hour security in the Royal William Yard. Mount Edgcumbe country park is just on the opposite bank of the river Tamar from the Royal William Yard with a frequent passenger ferry connection. The foot passenger Cremyll ferry that goes to Mount Edgcumbe is a 5 minute walk.
