The SpaceNB. You can book both rooms on this page; rates start at £90. However each room has its own webpage. Each separate room starts at £45. The house is on 3 levels and has a lovely feel to it; our 2 guest bedrooms are a little quirky and quite charming and are on the top floor; not ideal for those who find a few steep stairs a challenge. Guests have sole use of the bathroom which is on the first floor,(not en-suite) and shower gel and shampoo are provided. When both rooms are booked, sharing the bathroom is necessary. The bedrooms have a variety of teas available, and good coffee. Breakfast is in the kitchen/living room beside the Aga, or in summer in the Long Room overlooking the lovely large garden. For breakfast we provide juice, a variety of cereal, fruit, yoghurt, toast and jams; all laid out for you to choose. Occasionally we leave our guests to make their own tea/coffee/toast. Guests have use of a shelf in the fridge. There may be a small charge of £5 for short stay guests to use the washing machine. The double room takes 2 people and has feature arch windows, as does the guest bath/shower room. The larger family room with small double bed and single bed with double duvet can take an extra guest if requested (additional cost of £10pppn for third guest -wooden fold up single bed). Guest AccessGuests may sit in the garden if the weather is fine dependant on my client appointments. I work in Emotional Healing, EFT and Reiki so calm and quiet are important in my working space and I offer treatments to guests. I offer Packages for Therapeutic Relaxation and Stress Reducing Stays. I work on the computer in the living room and have clients in The Long Room. Interaction with GuestsWe are happy to chat, share our knowledge of the area and generally to enjoy finding out about our travellers. Herb is a local boy so knows the area inside out and should be able to help with any questions, especially cycling routes! Should you wish to experience EFT Tapping or Reiki then please do mention that. I am Scottish and Herb is mainly English and we will be present at the listing when guests stay. We have two young cats, Bramble and Marmalade; really quite naughty. The NeighborhoodI love being close to the sea and this summer we have swum a lot. Also we can walk to our golf club. The village is lovely and we are a short walk from The Green- where it all happens! There are 2 excellent local shops. Walking in the area is a pleasure as is cycling. There are 3 pubs and 4 eating places; one is an Indian restaurant, another is a Harvester and 2 pubs serve food. Getting AroundRowlands Castle : main train route to London Waterloo. Havant, five minutes away has many more choices. Bus to local areas. Probable parking at our home is included and street parking is available too. Southampton airport: Train to Havant, Train to Rowlands Castle. Taxi Other Things to NoteWe have a Dr's surgery in the village. We have plenty local tourist maps. Portsmouth is famous for Nelson's ship The Victory, The Mary Rose Museum is excellent and The Spinnaker Tower at Portsmouth Gunwharf are well worth a visit. A visit to Chichester is recommended ; it has a beautiful cathedral. Stansted House is very close and certainly merits a visit and a walk around the grounds.

The NeighborhoodWe live in the middle of a lovely village that has a pub just a short stroll away and just up the road is the village of Compton which offers a village shop and tea room. Chichester & Portsmouth are just 20 minutes away. Getting AroundWe have a local bus which goes from Chichester all the way to Petersfield. There is also a train station which is a 5 minute drive away. Other Things to NoteOff Road parking Separate access to accommodation.

The house is on 3 levels and has a lovely feel to it; our guest bedrooms are a little quirky and quite charming and are on the top floor; not ideal for those who find a few steep stairs a challenge. The double room and guest bathroom have feature arched windows and we have an AGA in the kitchen. Breakfast can be taken on a fairly self-service fashion in the kitchen/living room or in summer, in Long Room overlooking the lovely large garden. The bedrooms have a variety of teas available, and good coffee. For breakfast we provide juice, a variety of cereal, fruit, yoghurt, toast and jams; all laid out for you to choose. The bath/shower room is for sole use of guests with shower gel and shampoo provided. When both rooms are booked, sharing the bathroom is necessary. The double room takes 2 people. For bookings of 3 nights + and weekly bookings there is potential for negototiation dependent on time of year. The SpaceGeorgian Lodge on a country estate close to Goodwood, the sea and the South Downs. Guest AccessThe house and the garden is yours to enjoy for the period of your stay. Interaction with GuestsJust a welcome at the start - more if you need it. The NeighborhoodOur house is in a unique location we have no neighbours but are not remote. Stansted House (stately house) is further along the main drive about a ten minutes stroll and worth a look, popular cafe up there too and a terrifc farm shop selling local produce and we mean local. The Goodwood Estate is only 12 miles away. Getting AroundTrain to Havant station (on main London route) approx ten/twelve minutes drive away. Other Things to NoteIt is a two night minimum stay. There is a garage should you need it just up the short drive. Wi-fi, central heating (should you need it ), wood burning stove and logs all chopped and ready to burn, dishwasher, Nespresso machine and a bottle of Nyetimber award winning sparkling wine to welcome you, as its our favourite. We will soon also have additional space in our newly converted annex (which comes with its own bathroom, log burner and superking bed) should you have more friends or family to invite - the annex is available throughout the year and will be £80 per night.

The SpaceSat at the bottom of the South Downs, a stones throw (So to speak), away from the coast (Emsworth being just 3 miles away), and yet just minutes away from the heart of Portsmouth, we can cater for all walks of travellers at Robin Lodge. Exclusive use of "Robin Lodge" will be yours; A fully furnished home away from home and if you are lucky you may even get to see the Jay's that frequent the garden, along with the nesting robin's. Robin Lodge has a large shower en-suite bedroom with comfortable king size bed, double wardrobe, bedside cabinets and large chest of drawers. Please note that the second bed is a guest fold away, single bed with a pocket sprung mattress for comfort, made by "Jay-be", a leading name in the UK for guest beds. Bed can be made up along side the King bed in the bedroom or in the main living area, the choice is yours and the bed will be made up ready for your arrival. A very spacious dining / sitting room with dinning table for four, corner sofas, Freeview TV, DVD player (We have a spare HD Skybox but you would need to bring your own Sky card to use it), CD player and a cupboard full of board games, we even hold a toy box in case any little ones come to stay. The fully fitted kitchenette is small but holds everything you might need to prepare meals, including microwave, fridge, kettle, toaster, halogen cooker and two ring hob. Sorry no dishwasher but I can supply rubber gloves the wash and tumble dryer are in the main house but would be made available for you should you need them. Tea, coffee and fresh milk will be waiting for you and please feel free to ask for re-fills during your stay. A food hamper can be arranged prior to arrival at cost. The village centre is a 10 minute walk away, with a choice of two restaurants and three pubs and a convenience store, there is also a Harvester pub just a 2 minute walk away that opens at 8am for breakfast (At present they are doing an unlimited breakfast for £4.99, cooked or continental). All towels and bedding are provided and again please feel free to ask for a change of sheets / fresh towels, should you require them during your stay. Babies/Toddlers; we have a travel cot and stair gate (Used to block off kitchenette), available. Guest AccessRobin Lodge is a fully furnished apartment with it's own front & back door, the enclosed garden is shared with the main house but Robin Lodge has its own separate patio. The front drive way is also shared with space for two guest vehicles. Interaction with GuestsAs much or as little as you would like, we are a very easy going household, there is almost always someone at home in the main house and there will always be someone to greet you on your arrival. My husband and I both like meeting new people, swapping travel stories and offering local knowledge when required. The NeighborhoodThe Hampshire region The south coast of England is rich in scenery and history and there are some fantastic walking paths in the SouthDowns National Park. Hampshire is recognised as being one of the most beautiful counties in England with rolling countryside and a long coast line boasting natural beauty with extensive birdlife to the thriving ports of Portsmouth and Southampton. Emsworth is a short drive (3 miles), a very friendly village and ideal for coastal walks, there are a lot of on and off road cycling nearby and an excellent cycle shop in the village should you need it. The village holds regular farmers markets with some very tasty treats if I say so myself. Also so for the foodies reading this; Emsworth has 2 award winning restaurants , Fat Olives and 36 The Quay, there are also some excellent pubs with locally sourced pub food and good beer. P.G. Wodehouse based a lot of his novels on Emsworth, he loved the peace and quiet of Emsworth and wrote many of his books here. Rowland's Castle A small village hosting 4 pubs, 3 of which provide food, Tea rooms and an Indian restaurant. We also have a Londis convenience store Havant Just 1 mile away is a Town with well known high street shops along with the larger supermarkets. Portsmouth Is home to the Victory and other historic ships and the Mary Rose Exhibition has a wonderful display of the remains of the Tudor ship and its contents. Chichester Harbour is famous for its sailing and kite surfing and there are many fishing trips to be taken if you like sea fishing Getting AroundWe are conveniently situated between to train stations, Rowland's Castle station, 15 minute walk and Havant station, 5 minutes drive away, both have straight through lines to London Waterloo. The local bus services in Hampshire are one of the best in England and getting around this area is very easy. The closes bus stop is just 50 yards from our front door, going to Havant and Portsmouth central. If you need point to point public transport information, please feel free to ask and I will do my best to supply. Winchester is about half an hour away. The hamlet of Blendworth has an ancient history which goes back to Saxon times. Sally and Richard would love you to have a wonderful time either exploring this part of Hampshire/West Sussex or just enjoying a restful few days in the cottage. Occupancy for 3rd and 4th guest is £10 extra per person per night. Our Victorian home is charming and a little quirky. It is on 3 levels and has a lovely feel to it. The bedrooms are on the top floor, a steep staircase, and not suitable for: 1. Those with mobility issues (who find steep stairs a challenge) 2. Toddlers. Please do not bring Toddlers. When both rooms are booked the guests need to share the guest bathroom located down the short flight of stairs. Continental Breakfast is generally available.. Iften Self-service in the kitchen/living room or in summer, in Long Room overlooking the lovely large garden. The bedrooms have a variety of teas available, and good coffee.     Here you will find luxurious and exclusive self catering accommodation. Situated just off the South Downs in the quite hamlet of Up Marden, near Chichester, West Sussex, in an area of outstanding natural beauty. With its 4 en-suite double bedrooms Orchard Barn is a beautiful converted Sussex flint barn. With unique views of the downs and the surrounding area, there are many beautiful walks right on the doorstep and some challenging cycle rides for the more adventurous. Orchard Barn is just a few miles from the historic city of Chichester and many attractions including the Goodwood Estate with its Horse racing, Festival of Speed and The Revival, The Historic Dock yard at Portsmouth and the Isle of Wight to name a few. Also BOASTING YOUR OWN personal CATTERY for your sole use in our extensive gardens. On edge of Sussex Border Path and close to Southdowns Way., 12 miles from Chichester , Portsmouth.and Petersfield. Boasting a badminton grass court. The apartment which is contained, not shared with any other person, has sole use of the main front door approached via a lychgate oak front porch to the property..Also your pwn private terrace off your first floor appartment, with table and chairs, where you can breakfast or while away the hours admiring the extensive uninterrupted views. Another beautful lake worth a visit can be found at The Heath in Petersfield , again only 15 minutes drive away The Southdowns Way runs through this...Sussex border path also within walking distance London is one hour and 10 mins by train , or 1 hour 15 mins. by car.

      The SpaceOn the edge of a country estate the bothy is a seperate dwelling about 20 meters or so from our main house Emsworth Lodge - it is a lovely bolt hole ideal to use as a base for visiting Goodwood, the South Downs or just to snuggle up in for the weekend. There is a double bed in situ and while we recommend the space for two there is an additional airbed and bedding avilable should you need it for a small child or a friend. Guest AccessYou will have the bothy to yourselves and are welcome to use the rear garden which has apples trees, a steamer bench, table and chairs. Access is usually from 3pm and exit time 1pm - if there are no bookings for the following day we may be able to be more flexible please do ask. Interaction with GuestsUsually someone will always be around to welcome you - we will leave a breakfast hamper and The Bothy has a fridge, microwave, a kettle for tea, a Nespresso machine and a Webber BBQ. We have some suggestions for restaurants, visits that may interest you in the area and a contact telephone number in case of a problem. We have a choclate labrador dog called Captain who is super friendly although he will certainly bark at you on arrival. The NeighborhoodThe property is on the edge of a country park and surrounded by countryside, there is an award winning teashop very close, a stately home to visit (Stansted House) complete with a maze and a local produce farm shop just up the drive. There is a shop/ tea room and a pub 70 yards away and a community tennis court and recreation ground in the village. Next to the cottage is a bridle path. Wonderful walks, cycling routes, welcoming pubs and lovely scenery are all around. The West Sussex Falconry and South Downs Way are nearby. Goodwood for motor car and horse racing, Cowdray Park for polo, Chichester, Portsmouth for HMS Victory and Gun Wharf quay, Fontwell for racing are a short drive away. The beaches at Hayling Island and West Wittering are within easy reach. On the ground floor it has a good sized living room with an open fire, fully equipped kitchen, cloakroom with downstairs loo and a twin bedroom. Upstairs are two good sized bedrooms, one with a king sized bed, the other twin, and a bathroom with bath shower loo and basin. The garden is south facing with a patio, garden table and barbecue for eating out. Wifi, parking, open fire, Freeview sky tv, stereo/CD, washer, dishwasher, clothes drying line.         Each very well-equipped and comfortable cottage sleeps 4 guests, and has its own patio garden with garden furniture and barbecue. The cottages are individual and in the same area. All have the use of a large lawned and walled-in garden which is great for children and in high summer there is usually a badminton net and racquets available on the lawn too. We have a selection of garden games for children and plenty of space for running around. The swimming pool is shared use, and available from Monday to Saturday inclusive from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and only for those residing at the cottages If the group exceeds12, we do also offer additional luxury farmhouse bed and breakfast for 4 people.         We have many repeat visitors to this single-storey cottage which offers guests very comfortable and well-equipped accommodation. The private and gated patio garden has outdoor furniture and a charcoal barbeque in the summer. Guests have the shared use of a large lawned and walled-in garden which is great for children and there's usually badminton on the lawn too in addition to some other garden games. Lovely walks or bike rides can be taken straight from the cottage door and it's only a short stroll to the village pub (75 yards) Within a mile there is a village shop and tea room and being equidistant, Chichester and Petersfield are about a 15 minute drive. From the mainline railway station at Petersfield you can be at London Waterloo station within 80 minutes. All off road parking and storage available for boats and trailers if required.

          The Old Stables Cottage is a luxury, single-storey property with vaulted ceilings, on our working family farm in the downland village of West Marden, Nr. Chichester, West Sussex. Graded by Visit Britain as 5 Star with a Gold Award, this very spacious property is extremely well equipped and sleeps 4 people in 2 ensuite bedrooms. An extra Z-bed or Cot and high-chair is available to hire, if required. The Old Stables has its own large patio garden with barbecue and wooden table and chairs. If you have more than 4 in your party we have accommodation for 2 extra guests in our farmhouse B&B. In high summer guests staying at the cottage have the shared use of an outdoor heated swimming pool, and a large lawned and walled-in garden, which is ideal for children. Lovely walks or bike rides may be taken straight from the door. The village pub is only a 75 yard short stroll and a village shop with a tea room is within a mile. Our three cottages, The Old Stables, Keepers and Barley Cottage can accommodate 12 guests in total and therefore ideal for family gatherings, walking groups and wedding parties as the wonderful wedding venue, The Tithe Barn at Ditcham is just over a ten minute drive.               Orchard barn has under floor heating throughout. The spacious oak kitchen is well equipped with a dual fuel Range cooker, fridge and dish washer. Ample glasses, cutlery, crockery and serving dishes are supplied with a lovely chunky solid oak table and chairs. The Kitchen looks out to the courtyard where you can open the double glazed doors and enjoy your time reading the paper or socializing with friends in the beautiful suntrap with a view down to the Isle of Wight. In the utility room is a place to store your boots after a wonderful walk around the surrounding area. Also in this room is a fridge freezer microwave, washing machine and a tumbler dryer. Off the kitchen is the snug, where you can take some time out and read a book or try a jig saw puzzle there is also free wifi connection in the barn. There is a separate cloakroom just off the snug. The open plan sitting and dining area has a small slope entering from the snug. The sitting area is a cosy area with low ceilings and soft lighting with a wood burning stove (wood provided), sofas, a wide screen digital TV, a blu-ray DVD player and an I pod dock. The large oak table in the dining area can seat 10. The dual aspect glazed doors open onto the secluded patio and garden at the rear of the property and the courtyard at the front. Both ground floor bedrooms have views out to the patio and orchard at the back, one has an en-suite with shower, basin and toilet, the other has a wet room with shower and disabled facilities. The spacious wet room offers a two headed shower, WC with supports and two basins. The two bedrooms on the first floor are approached by two separate stair cases. They both have en- suite bathrooms with a bath and basin and wc. All bedrooms have super king beds which can also be made in to twin 3ft beds. All Linen and towels are provided.

                  The Cottage at Deerleap is a beautifully presented courtyard cottage set in the grounds of an impressive period house in the delightful Hampshire village of Rowlands Castle. The cottage is all on one level and so has easy access. There is a very comfortable sitting room with a large sofa, TV and floor to ceiling windows overlooking the courtyard. The kitchen to the cottage is open plan to the dining area. It is equipped with a cooker with hob, microwave, fridge, washer/dryer, as well as all the cooking equipment and utensils you should need. There are 2 stylish double bedrooms. One of them has its own en-suite shower room and a pair of comfortable armchairs. The second bedroom has a sofa (which can be used as a sofa bed) and is next door to the second shower room. This is an ideal cottage for 2 couples to share. Guests of the cottage have access to the peaceful orchard garden to the main house. There is secure parking on the gravelled driveway which is access through electric gates. EPC - D

The village pub serves a range of beers and excellent food (we can vouch for this!) and is only a short walk away. A small shop and tea room, a village pub, playground/tennis court and church can be found in Compton, less than a mile up the road. Stansted House is very close and certainly merits a visit and a walk around the grounds.

                      The Old Stables Cottage is a luxury, single-storey property with vaulted ceilings, on our working family farm in the downland village of West Marden, Nr. Chichester, West Sussex. Graded by Visit Britain as 5 Star with a Gold Award, this very spacious property is extremely well equipped and sleeps 4 people in 2 ensuite bedrooms. An extra Z-bed or Cot and high-chair is available to hire, if required. The Old Stables has its own large patio garden with barbecue and wooden table and chairs. If you have more than 4 in your party we have accommodation for 2 extra guests in our farmhouse B&B.; In high summer guests staying at the cottage have the shared use of an outdoor heated swimming pool, and a large lawned and walled-in garden, which is ideal for children. Lovely walks or bike rides may be taken straight from the door. The village pub is only a 75 yard short stroll and a village shop with a tea room is within a mile. Our three cottages, The Old Stables, Keepers and Barley Cottage can accommodate 12 guests in total and therefore ideal for family gatherings, walking groups and wedding parties as the wonderful wedding venue, The Tithe Barn at Ditcham is just over a ten minute drive. There are galleries and museums and within a few miles, National Trust properties to visit. Fishbourne Roman Palace houses the largest collection of in-situ mosaic floors in Britain. Many of these were laid at the time of the construction of the Palace, around AD75-80. Around Chichester are some picturesque coastal villages, such as Bosham and Emsworth and the Isle of Wight is just a short ferry trip from Portsmouth. West Marden is just a 20 minute drive from the Cross channel ferry terminal at Portsmouth. The cottage is located in a pretty downland village and benefits from a local pub which is just a short stroll from the property.                         Each very well-equipped and comfortable cottage sleeps 4 guests, and has its own patio garden with garden furniture and barbecue. The cottages are individual and in the same area. All have the use of a large lawned and walled-in garden which is great for children and in high summer there is usually a badminton net and racquets available on the lawn too. We have a selection of garden games for children and plenty of space for running around. The swimming pool is shared use, and available from Monday to Saturday inclusive from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and only for those residing at the cottages If the group exceeds12, we do also offer additional luxury farmhouse bed and breakfast for 4 people. Lovely walks or bike rides can be taken straight from the cottage door and it's only a short stroll to the village pub (75 yards) Within a mile there is a village shop and tea room and being equidistant, Chichester and Petersfield are about a 15 minute drive. From the mainline railway station at Petersfield you can be at London Waterloo station within 80 minutes. All off road parking and storage available for boats and trailers if required. Please note that there is an elevated rate for all Goodwood Events such as Revival, Festival of Speed and Glorious Goodwood. The prices are for the rental of the cottage, and the maximum number of guests per cottage is 4. We do have a z-bed for one extra child (maximum) and this is charged at ÂŁ50 if booked and agreed in advance.
