The NeighborhoodOur home is on a very attractive early Victorian cobbed street. Walking distance from Stockport town centre, with great connections out to Cheshire, Derbyshire or into Manchester city centre. Getting AroundWe are very centrally located to Stockport town centre, the motorway and all public transport links bus & train. Trains go from Stockport to Manchester airport and there is also a bus service just a few minutes away directly to Manchester airport. 10 trains per hour into Manchester during the day, and direct trains to London (every 20 minutes), Buxton, Sheffield, Blackpool, Preston.

This is a family home and 2 children live here and possibly other lodgers (up to 2).
The listed extra price for 2 is when sharing a double bedroom.
If you have more than 2 guests it is possible at times that I may have extra space to accommodate other guests in an extra room, or I can set up a single bed in the double room. The cost of an extra room would start at £28 for one person. I will need to alter the AirBnB price to reflect this. The cost of an extra single bed in the same room is £18. I cannot put my listing on to reflect these prices, but I will tell you at the time of booking.
The house is very old, 1850, I have kept as may of the original features as possible, this means that my kitchen floor tiles are about 80 years old etc, and although the features are beautiful, they look aged. Some areas of the house require decoration, like the hallway, but the bedrooms, kitchen lounge & main bathroom are all in reasonable/good condition.
We have a no smoking and no shoes policy (slipper are available to borrow if you need them).
We have no TV , but we have free wifi.
We have a cat.
