The SpaceWheatley's Eyot is a small private island situated on the River Thames in a village called Sunbury, South West London. 15 minute drive from Heathrow airport. The Nook is one of only 10 houses on the island. Our garden turns into a quiet spot on the River Thames where boats, rowers, swans and geese pass by at a gentle pace.
There's a fire pit in the garden and big picnic bench, a huge weeping willow and blow up kayaks for summer trips. Just across the river is The Weir Pub, and just upstream is The Swan, The Red Lion, The Anglers Retreat and The Kings Head. Downstream's the Magpie, The Phoenix and The Flowerpot. The house is well equipped with a modern fitted kitchen, 2 ovens and double sink, 2 bathrooms with bath, shower and toilets in both.
It's a beautiful spot, hidden away but close enough to London to get into Waterloo in just over an hour.
