The SpaceThis room is a SINGLE room, nonetheless it is very cosy and comfy and a nice space to be in. The centrally heated room comes with a selection of books, maps, tourist, leaflets, hair dryer, emergency supplies, extra heater, towels and umbrella. It is recently decorated, along with a brand new bed, bedding and carpet. I've also had special plug sockets fitted that have 2 international plug sockets (no adapter necessary, except for NZ and Auz sorry) and also 3 USB plugs so devices can be charged directly by the wall sockets.
My home is a very relaxed and comfortable house, well maintained and equipped, and usually greeted by guests "oooh's" and "ahhhh's" on arrival for it's typically British yet international and homely feel.
I prefer an easy life so the kitchen is well equipped with all sorts of utensils and devices, making cooking easy and pleasurable in a relaxed space and in which you are also very welcome to cook.
Likewise the living room, conformably and homely decorated, featuring large glass doors which open out to the garden, which has a patio area, lovely in the summer ... and cosy in the winter, inside!
The bathroom is bright and clean with a great shower and endless hot water! Also where you'll find a selection of free body soap and shampoo etc. Guest AccessWhen staying here guests have access to all communal areas of my home, we'll do our best to make you feel welcome, whether it's enjoying cooking in the kitchen, relaxing in the garden or 'surfing' on the sofa. You are very welcome to come and go as you please at any time of the day or night. Interaction with GuestsI work and study from home and am in and out all the time, but will generally be here on arrival and departure to greet you. If you have any questions about the facilities or local amenities I'll be very happy to answer them for you or gather any extra information you'd like. The NeighborhoodMy house is set on a lovely, leafy residential street and within an easy walk to the Manchester Metrolink tram service, Old Trafford, Lancashire County Cricket Club, Victoria Warehouse, along with many other local amenities. Popular Chorlton is just a 10 minute walk away, where you'll find 3 major supermarkets, many cafes, bars and restaurants, this is a great and safe area, personally I'd feel safe and happy to walk home at 1am on my own!
There are at least 2 areas / parks close by to my home, the lovely manicured gardens in Longford Park for easy strolling and only 3 minutes walk from my home or the more natural area of Chorlton Ees with the River Mersey running through it, it's great again for walking in or even better for a decent sized run! Getting AroundThe Metrolink tram stop is a 4-minute walk from my home, taking you to the city centre in just 12 minutes or directly to or from Manchester Airport from my street! Alternatively the bus stop is 8-minutes walk and Manchester Airport is a quick 15-minute drive.
The centre of Chorlton is 10 minutes walk, Lancashire Country Cricket Club is a 7 minute walk, Manchester United's Football ground is a 20 min walk, Victoria Warehouse 25 minutes. Perfect for all sorts of fans!
