The SpaceModern and bright, with it's best old features kept and made more useable for now, The Bothy is a completely private room with kitchenette and Woodburning Stove, entirely separate from the Coach House (our home) with private en suite shower room. Through a door in the wall of the Victorian walled garden of our home is The Bothy, originally home to the workers that tended the gardens for the manor house, The Noak, and the horses in The Coach House. The Bothy sits in the gardens of the Coach House, a perfect haven for two. Modern and bright, with it's best old features kept and made more useable for now, The Bothy is a completely private room entirely separate from the Coach House (our home) with en suite shower room. Your stay includes your own heated private Bothy; Wood for the wood burner; in-room mini-fridge, microwave, kettle & toaster; Fresh (and super soft) towels and bedding; Flat-screen LCD TV with Freeview and DVD player (ask if you want something to watch we have looads!); FREE Wi-Fi; FREE Breakfast cereals, bread, butter, milk, jams, sugar, tea, coffee; Bose Bluetooth Speaker; Mini oven and hob; slow cooker and cookbooks; There's a lovely patio outside your front door with bistro table and chairs. The bed is a full-size futon/mattress and I've been told by many a friend that it's super comfy; during the day it's a sofa (rarely ever put up - but you can if you like!). Lovely warm duvet, choice of pillows and extra blankets. Free parking on the private drive. Behind The Bothy, through a slightly overgrown part of the garden that we haven't quite started to tend yet, is a working farm. If you're here at harvest time you may hear some noise from the harvesters but it's always short lived and adds to the country feel. Of course if you're here during lambing season, you will hear the newborn lambs saying hello to the world, take a look at some of the photos as our family said hello this spring! An incredible time of year to visit! During the end of summer the garden is full of apple, plum, pear, damson and figs which you're welcome to pick. And of course the flowers are in full bloom and the garden looks lovely. It's not perfect, definitely a work in progress, but lovely nontheless. Autumn and winter leave the garden looking slightly more sparse as you'd expect but with that the walks from here that time of year are stunning with the sun low in the sky and the colours the ever changing landscape offers. Beyond the farm, and at the end of the garden are sweeping fields with public footpaths that take you to stunning views. Just ask for guidance and we have maps ready. There's great walks and easy access to the well know Worcestershire Way Walk (33miles in total, but not compulsory! You can do bits of it according to how much you're in the mood for! If you're traveling light and want to keep it that way we have a selection of wellies you can choose from if the weather requires it. Plus toiletries in your en suite and if you use the washer we have washing liquids and softeners for you to use. If you're unsure please just ask! Or if you forget a toothbrush or anything let me know I may have a spare (in packet don't worry!) You have your own self contained room with en suite bathroom and wood burning stove so you'll have your own cosy space to cuddle up in! We won't enter your space at all during your stay. Although you won't have absolute access to our home, you'd be welcome to use the washer/dryer-see extra details. We have tried to ensure you have everything you need to make your holiday easy and enjoyable from the start-The bothy has a fridge and microwave and kettle and toaster, plus mini oven and hob and a slow cooker. Cereals, tea, coffee, milk, sugar, bread, butter and Jams are provided. If you'd like a meal whilst you're here I'll let you know what I'm making for the family during your stay and there will be a choice for each day, although I'm no top chef it will be a freshly prepared, wholesome meal please enquire for pricing. Or I can always make you a pizza if the menu doesn't suit! We will be here to welcome you and The Bothy is in the garden of our home so you will probably see us coming and going. We will ultimately leave you to enjoy your break but will be easily accessible should you need us! If you're staying for a week or more we will arrange to change the linen and towels and to do a surface clean at a time that is convenient for you. We are on the edge of a small village, very much in the countryside. The village has a pub, shop and post office within walking distance (less than 10 mins there, slightly more back as it's uphill that way!) The local pub is a short walk away. There are several pubs within a couple of miles which are more appropriate for a drive or a bike ride. Closest supermarket is on the edge of Worcester roughly 7 miles. There's golf within 8 miles, walks from a few miles up to the famous Worcestershire Way of 33 miles in total. Fishing within 5 miles. There's a lovely walk to the River Teme in around 20-25 minutes. The Flyford is an independent family run inn, that is situated midway between Worcester and Stratford Upon Avon on the A422. The Flyford Arms offers a bar and dining areas which have managed to retain many of the period charms of the building and much of the intimate atmosphere we associate with a country inn. With a well stocked bar that has a good range of fine ales, wines and spirits, those looking for a quiet relaxing drink would be hard pressed to find a more congenial location and, with the dining room just a few paces the other side of the circular bar. The letting rooms are all ensuite and retain the quirky charm of the 18th century building. A lovely in-room continental breakfast is included in the room rate.

The SpaceStone House is a piece of the Good Life in Herefordshire; England's most rural and sparsely populated county, noted for apples, pears, cider and several areas of outstanding beauty. Dating from around 1890; it is a peaceful cottage set in a smallholding of just under four acres of land in the beautiful downs along the border between Herefordshire and Worcestershire. It is clean, spacious, well-loved and has all the standard amenities you would expect. Framed by breathtaking views of the Malvern Hills and Linton Downs, there are no immediate neighbours, and the nearest town is four miles away which has supermarkets, pubs, restaurants, theatre and a thriving community. It's just twenty minutes by car to Worcester, Hereford & The Malverns, and Birmingham is under an hour away by road or rail. The house has two double bedrooms, one with a super kingsize bed and one with a queen size. The third bedroom has a toddler bed in it, but there is an electric inflatable mattress available. There are two bathrooms, one upstairs with a bathtub and one downstairs with a shower. The kitchen, whilst not modern, is fully equipped and there is a separate utility room with washing machine and dryer. Life in the house centres around the open plan living and dining room, which has recliner sofa and armchairs. The lovely wood burner has a fire guard so is safe for children. The dining table has four chairs and two high chairs. There is a smart TV with recorder, and wifi can be accessed throughout the house and most of the garden. There is also an unusual guest bedroom for overnight or unexpected guests in the form of a caravan which is parked in an animal shelter in the field. It has electricity, light, toilet and is configured as a large double-bed. It also has a heater that can keep it very comfortable even in the depths of winter. Outside, the garden around the house is almost an acre in size, completely secluded, and bordered by fields and hedgerows. It features a "Breeze House" which is a lovely space to sit, chat, eat & drink. There are also sun loungers, garden chairs, and a BBQ. For children, we also have a large climbing frame with swings, slide and sandpit, and there are plenty of outdoor toys. Please note that we keep a flock of free range chickens that require no regular minding, but we ask that guests top up their food and water every few days and collect the eggs from the coop daily - and help yourself to as many as you like! There is a large kitchen garden behind the garage from which, during summer and autumn, guests are welcome to help themselves. In exchange we ask that they water in the greenhouses during their stay. (PLEASE NOTE THE CHICKENS ARE HOLIDAYING ELSEWHERE AT CHRISTMAS AND THERE IS NO WATERING REQUIRED IN WINTER!) A local shepherd keeps sheep in our field from time to time. This means that while we accept dogs, guests have an absolute responsibility to control their pet. The garden is separated from the field by a stock fence so a dog can roam free, but if you think your dog could jump the fence you must ensure that they do not injure any livestock that may be in the field. There are lots of attractions nearby, walking in the Malvern Hills, the bookshops of Hay on Wye, Ludlow and its culture of food. It is also within an hour of West Midlands Safari Park, just over an hour to Drayton Manor and is surrounded by National Trust Properties, petting farms and all the delights of England's most rural county.
