Keep in Mind that we have a peaceful quiet guest cottage so it can also a good place for reading, reflecting, meditating writing and all manner of creative simi-isolation.. haha Interaction with GuestsTeitei Farmstay is a great destination for people who are spiritually and ecologically oriented, open-minded, and who want to have authentic Fiji experiences. It is a good choice for families. The guest cottage has 3 bedrooms, Two of the rooms have sleeping lofts and room for other bedding below so smaller children can rest well either up in the loft or at ground level. The cabin has a shared toilet and outside shower, and the rooms have fans and reading lights. The guest house is about 20 meters from the main house.. Once here you can have as much solitude and peace, or socializing and adventuring, as you would like. The NeighborhoodOur immediate neighbors are Indian farmers and very friendly - they will likely invite you in for tea. Nearby is a Fijian village, and the villagers are very friendly as well - we can easily arrange a visit to the village.
Getting AroundThere is local transport. And we will help you get familiar with it for the fist few days. Other Things to NoteABOUT OUR FOOD
At least half of our food is either from our farm or from the local market. Our farm is near organic – no herbicides or pesticides, some fertilizer is used. Local market foods are also near organic except for off-season crops, which we avoid. We have a lot of Indian and Fijian dishes, but are always experimenting, and can adjust menus within reason to cater to our guests. Everyone eats in the main house, and we try to all gather for dinner.
Three meals are provided daily: breakfast,, lunch, and dinner. Plus tea coffee or a snack are always available.
