The SpaceThe house, authentic and very spacious, is a former hotel (and bakery, and butchery...), built in 1874 and recently renovated with natural materials.
It includes :
- A spacious room with complete private bathroom; a queen size bed, and a wardrobe with hangers.
- A big Saloon with a bar and a piano, some tables to play or eat and a few other instruments if you like to play music.
- A kitchen, preserved (almost) just like it was when used as the bakery, with a big table and a dish-washer so you can cook in here.
You can then choose to eat in the kitchen or the saloon. Guest AccessYou can use the kitchen (including the tools and equipments) and saloon. You have a private bathroom in your own room. Interaction with GuestsWe work at home so we'll be there to welcome you, help you choose what to do around and we would be glad to share some time with you if you want to. The NeighborhoodSaint-Jean-De-Nay is a (very) small village of Haute-Loire, near the pittoresque Puy-en-Velay and the antic city of Saint-Paulien.
There are many activities to practice all around (you can visit Respirando's website, specialist of outdoor activities in the department):
Allier river is 20minutes away;
You can also do fishing, golf, aerodrome, rivers, hiking, karting, bowling, visit forests, ... Getting AroundThere are parking spots just in front of the house. Other Things to NoteOnly breakfast is offered ( on a "give what you want" basis )but the kitchen is all yours.
Some restaurants are open on weekends around here and many others would welcome you all week long at Le Puy en Velay or Langeac.
There is one little restaurant in the village, at litterally 2 minutes walk from home which is open for lunch every day and saturday night upon reservation. There are no other shops in the village (except for the carpenters but I guess you won't need them...). But there is a stone worker, very friendly and she could show you her job !
