The Space45 sqm flat. Bright, urban and refined at Montmartre's door: made for couples. This lovely apartment has been conceived as a one wide living room divided in three spaces: a lounge with a sofa bed, an open-plan kitchen fully equiped with a large dining table; and a bedroom, separated by a glass wall. Note for allergy : a cat usually lives in the apartment but it will NOT be present during your stay. The apartment is at the 5th floor (no elevator) of an early XXth century bulding. Uncluttered yet charming, the original wooden floor, (working) firepit, second-hand/vintage furniture and glass wall litteraly warm up the room which is already bathed with incredible light through its 4 windows. Outdoor curtains can protect from daylight and a thick curtain is specifically hanged on the bedroom's window to let you enjoy a deep, untroubled sleep. The Italian-style bathroom reflects the spirit of the apartment: cosy, comfy and minimalist. You can store your clothes and belongings in the made-to-measure dressing alongside the 2-people bed. Towels and sheets are provided. Unfortunately, the dishwasher is not operating (yet you will find there all the dishes you ever wanted). Lucky you, the fridge, toaster, ceramic hobs and oven will be there to wake up the sleeping chef inside you. You can even try to do homemade smoothies with our special blender while you are waking up sipping your Nespresso coffee. Have a great stay ! Guest AccessYou can enjoy the whole apartment during your stay. Don't worry, we are not intrusive. The NeighborhoodRight outside the Marx Dormoy subway (line 12), the apartment is 10' walking from the Basilique du Sacré-Coeur (Montmartre), theatres on the Ourcq canal (Stalingrad) and the famous Canal Saint Martin or 5' cab from the Fleamarket (Puces de Saint Ouen for those who have seen Midnight in Paris). Getting AroundTransportation: Line 12 (Marx Dormoy, immediate access); Line 2 (La Chapelle) and Line 4 (Marcadet-Poissoniers) are both 10' walking distance from our house.

Here is a little explanation: Paris is not a city like any other. It is a city divided into 20 districts, in no order of distance from the center. Despite the existence of district number 1, which is located in the center of a map of Paris. The borough (district) 4 is the most central of the fourth convergence of almost all means of transport in the station "Chatelet Le Halle". The central point of all roads in France is located in front of the church of Notre Dame de Paris in the 4th district. But the tourist points are not concentrated in this "centers". You had to monuments scattered throughout Paris. For example, the Eiffel Tower is located in the 7th district. The Arch of Triumph in the eighth. The Basilica of the Sacred Heart in the 18th. The Museum of the Louvre in the 1st district. Opera is the 8th district. The largest museum of Modern Art "Beaubourg" is located in the 3rd district. The Place de la Bastille is located in the 11th district ... As I wrote above: The Line closest metro of my apartment is the line number 4. The line 4 is unique dessert all subway lines, it facilitates access by all Paris, you can move easily to all tourist spots. With this line you 10 to 15 minutes of the 4th district, which is the most central district of Paris. Guest AccessFrom the house, you are 23 minutes from the 1st district. For North airport in the Paris area (Charles de Gaulle), you are 47 minutes. From the airport asouth of Paris (Orly) you are 1 hour. The road is a direct train (RER B) to the Gare du Nord, after you take the metro line 4 10 minutes from the Basilica of the Sacred Heart. In a popular African neighborhood, 5min from metro station Marx Dormoy (line 12) direction Aubervillieers - Popular Front. 8min station Château Rouge Metro (line 4) direction Porte de Clignancourt and stop at Château Rouge (2 station after Gare du Nord - 4min) bus 60, 65 (comes directly from the Gare de Lyon stop Ordener - Marx Dormoy 4th stop after Gare du Nord, 35 (stop Ordener - Marx Dormoy 4th stop after Gare du Nord) Line 4 is the only thing that binds all subway lines, which facilitates movement across Paris without difficulty, and all the tourist spots. Interaction with GuestsI would be in the apartment the day of your arrival to show you the apartment and give you the key. I'll come pick you up in metro station Chateau Rouge, two stations after the Gare du Nord, line 4 direction "Porte Clignancourt ". Call, or message (by SMS), or mail me when you'll be on the platform of the line 4 to Gare du Nord, and I'll come take you in station Château Rouge metro in front the KFC fast food restaurant (adresse : 46 Boulevard Barbès, 75018 Paris). The station "Chateau Rouge" is closed for works. I would be in the apartment the day of your arrival to show you the apartment and give you the key. I'll come pick you up in metro station "Marcadet – Poissonniers" EXIT "2", three stations after the Gare du Nord, line 4 direction "Porte Clignancourt ". Call, or message (by SMS), or mail me when you'll be on the platform of the line 4 to Gare du Nord, and I'll come pick up you in metro station Marcadet – Poissonniers in front the restaurant "Bar brasserie Le Commerce" (adresse : 88 Boulevard Barbès, 75018 Paris). The NeighborhoodObservation: As I explained previously on the profile, the apartment is located in an area where there is an African market, so the majority of people attending and living there are people of black skin. This often causes an awesome surprise, fear, or even a series of assumptions about neighborhood safety, to those who are not used to seeing many black people together. These observations being done, thank you to our visitors for avoiding racist remarks. The neighborhood is safe, despite an African population. The police station is 100 meters from the apartment. The 18th neighborhood of Paris The 18th neighborhood of Paris is located on the right bank of the Seine, in the north of the city. After the 15th and the 20th neighborhood/district, it is the third most populous neighborhood of the city. It is also the best known and most popular tourist districts of Paris. Since 1860, as the common Vaugirard, Passy, Charonne, etc ... Montmartre was annexed to Paris. The mayor of the 18th district is located at 1, place Jules Joffrin.
