The village is home to the campus of the Savannah College of Art and Design, the 60-80 students are housed at the top of the village. Pierre Cardin is the owner of the imposing chateau of the Marquis de Sade right at the summit of the hill. Lacoste is a small village of around 100 people so interaction with locals is easy. The SpaceOur apartment is sitting in the center of a village which is between the mountain Alpilles and Luberon, in the heart of Provence and beside the river Durance. It is 45m2 with 1 living room,1 bedroom, 1 bathroom and a kitchen. In the living room there is a couch possibly modified to a double bed. It is equipped with washing machine, fridge, microwave and some other simple kitchen supplies. Home use beddings and bath towels are applied. and offering free wifi illimite. You need bring your own toiletries (bath shampoo, teeth brush and paste, etc...) and food. Anyway if not, you may buy them here in a local shop. There are 1 double bed 140cm width, 1 pull-out couch 120cm width and a small foldable bed 80cm width. Located in the range of 30mn to Avignon or Arles, 20 mn to Saint Remy, 30mn to Les Baux-de-Provence or Fontaine-de-Vaucluse, Oppède le Vieux, Roussillon, Gordes... and 50mn to the sea (Sausset-les-pins, Saintes-Maries-de-la-mer, Marseille...). In the village there are some rock climbing sites as well, and some promenade : You can have a very good seeing sight from the Chappelle Beauregard to the Durance valley. In our village there are 3 medieval town doors, castel ruins, some oratoires, chappelle de Beauregard with an exciting point view on the Durance Valley and Mont Ventoux and also a small lake. The SpaceThe house consists of an old building from 1880 with thick walls that ensure a constant temperature in winter and summer. It has a narrow kitchen but friendly and well equipped, a large living room that overlooks the sitting room in which the fireplace provides warmth and visual comfort in winter. The sitting room sofa can be transformed into a comfortable double bed if needed. Upstairs the boy's room has a single bed(80*190) and it is possible to add a mattress on the ground (90*190). Our daughter's room has a single bed (90 * 190) under which there is a second (90*190). After the bathroom, the office serves as 4th bedroom, it is equipped with a sofa bed (140*190). A recent monobrique extension contiguous to the old building consists in an atypical room on the ground floor of which the rock is the back wall (floor heating). It is possible to put an extra bed there. Upstairs is the master bedroom with a double bed (160*190) and a bathroom. Guest AccessTravelers will have access to the full house or to one or more rooms depending on their wishes, their number, etc. Interaction with GuestsWhereas they rent the entire house or just a room, we will have no (or little according to the wishes of our guests) exchanges with passengers or we may cohabit if they enjoy cooking, for example. The NeighborhoodThe area is quiet, quiet and quiet. Marked trails for walking and biking can be reached quickly from the house. Getting AroundThe village does not shine by its transport network but a bus line crosses with regular shuttles to Pelissanne / Salon de Provence. From the airport, you will have to take a bus to Salon de Provence and the shuttle mentioned above. Finally it is possible to park your car in the street outside the house without any difficulty. The SpaceSituated in the picturesque Bouches-du-Rhone region between The Luberon and Les Alpilles in the South of France, this property offers an ideal location to relax near the pool, in the private garden or visit the many interesting sites in the region. 20 minutes from Lourmarin, 5 minutes from Pont Royal golf course, 30 - 45 minutes from Aix-en-Provence, Marseille airport, Avignon and TGV (fast train). Our 2 bedroom cottage is fully equipped and tastefully furnished. It is cool in the Summer as it is set amongst trees which provide lots of shade. In the Winter there are radiators in each room and a wood burning heater (Godin) in the lounge. Quality linen, bath towels and pool towels are supplied (100% cotton). The bed in the main bedroom is King Size (180cm x 200cm), British Super King. In the second bedroom there are 2 options, either a queen size bed (160 x 190) or 2 single beds. The property is just outside the village of Mallemort and is considered semi-rural. There are numerous restaurants in the village and also in surrounding villages. We are very happy to be only 2 kms from a L'Occitane Spa (the ultimate in spa treatments) with steam room, sauna, jacuzzi for before and/or after treatments. Our shared swimming pool measures 5m by 12m. There are large shady areas under the trees, 2 parasols and comfortable pool loungers. A special in season rate will be offered to families with only 1 small child or baby. In season rental runs from Saturday to Saturday in France. Minimum 7 nights in season. Guest AccessWe have table tennis, BBQ facilities, an open garden area with a bench near the swimming pool. The pool is open to guests all hours. Please respect other guests who have come here to seek the quiet peacefulness of the property. Interaction with GuestsWe are onsite to assist guests with any queries they may have. We can assist with planning a day trip, give advice on what to see and do in the region. We have 2 outdoor cats and 3 chickens, which never enter the living space, not even the main house rooms. Access to horse riding, including Lipizzaner. Centre of village is only 1km from property. Other Things to NoteBike hire is available from Aix en Provence, Bonnieux, Sault, etc, and is highly recommended. We also have 2 good quality adult size mountain bikes available at an extra fee which need to be reserved in advance and paid for on arrival in full with a damage/loss deposit.

The SpaceIn the heart of the Luberon Hills, Lacoste is well known for its Chateau, previously owned by the famous Marquis de Sade. Just a few minutes in the other direction lies charming Ménerbes with its steep, picturesque streets and far reaching views across to Gordes and the ochre cliffs of Roussillon. This lovely old stone farmhouse is peacefully situated in large wooded grounds, minutes from Lacoste village. It has been charmingly , yet simply restored, retaining the old Provencal ceilings, exposed stonework, and tiled floors.The odd different levels between the rooms adds to the old world charm. Outside there is a nice sheltered dining area and two other sitting out areas. The lovely pool is built in "bassin" style and is walled and wooded. From here one can glimpse the ochre cliffs of Roussillon. It is a good choice for children with plenty of play space outside , swings and a sandpit. Guest AccessAccess all parts of the house, except a private handing-over belonging to the owner. Interaction with GuestsThe tenants will be only present in the house. By the A7 motorway and then take the exit Avignon Sud. Take direction Apt / Coustellet. Drive about 30 kms and then through the village of Coustellet. To about 5 kms and take the exit Menerbes / Beaumettes. Leave Menerbes on your right and head up the panel "Lacoste 7 kms." You climb and pass the Tinel sign. About 2 kms before reaching Lacoste, you leave the Abbey of Saint Hilaire on your right, drive 400 meters and in a right turn, turn left (at a local trash stone). Roll 800m on a dirt road, go 2 donkey. After 100m you reach a level ground with blocks of stone turn right. To 50m turn left to 30m: the house is on the right and is called "The Brassane".

Guest AccessHow to find the property: The property is called "Les Truffiers" located on Chemin Les Dilais. Some Satnav don't show the lane so you might have to follow our directions: When approaching the village, after climbing the hill, you pass the look-out of the village and keep going towards the village. Soon after, turn on the left road "Venasque-Abbaye de Senanque" (the right turn will get you to the village centre). After 500m or so, you will officially exit the village (a sign with Gordes crossed in red). A few meters later, there is a dead-end lane on your left with "Les Dilais" mentioned. Take that lane, you will soon be driving between narrow stone walls. Les Truffiers is located on the right (just after the property called Le Grenier), with a blue wooden gate. Getting AroundEven if we would highly recommend you to have a car during your stay, allowing you to discover the beautiful region (you can't count on public transport in the area!), you can still enjoy your stay in Gordes with no car, as long as you don't mind walking to the village and spending most of your days enjoying the peace and quiet of the house and garden. You will nonetheless need to take a taxi from Avignon train station or Marseille Airport to drive you to our house.       The SpaceThe property is considered semi-rural as it is just outside the village of Mallemort and is an old Provencal farmhouse (Mas). Minimum 4 nights in July and August (peak season). No children or babies can be accommodated in the studios. The 2 studios, Lilac below Lavender, each have their own ensuite bathroom/toilet with a large italian shower, no bath, with quality bathroom toiletries included (towels, soap, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, etc). There is an antique dining table with 2 antique chairs in each room, for taking meals indoors. The bed linens are all 100% cotton, and feather pillows are standard. In the garden there is a breakfast area with wrought iron garden furniture for you to enjoy the beautiful Summer mornings eating croissants or pains au chocolats, or any other meals al fresco. There are 3 restaurants in the centre of the village as well as 3 pizzeria's and a sushi takeaway. We are on the bus route to Salon-de-Provence and Aix-en-Provence. We are only 2 kms from a L'Occitane Spa (the ultimate in spa treatments) with steam room, sauna, jacuzzi for before and/or after treatments. Our guests experience calm and peace here. There is a large swimming pool with loungers and parasols. We are well positioned for guests who wish to explore Provence/Luberon during the day. The evenings are ideal to take a swim and relax with a glass of wine for apero before going out for dinner. What our guests experience here is quite unique. They have the privacy of their apartment and use of the swimming pool area and the garden in front of the apartments.       The SpaceLes Mûriers (Mulberry Trees) welcomes you in a spacious open plan apartment set up in the old hayloft of a 18th century Provencal farmhouse, next to the main house and its square courtyard. In the open country, the property, with a southern exposure, is located in a 1.5-hectare park, with trees and meadow, sunny all day long – and all through the year ! Ideal for four to five guests, the ‘open space’ loft conversion apartment on the first floor conversion (140 m2 with mezzanine), is very luminous and consists of three sleeping areas : one large bed in 160 and two beds in 90 each on the mezzanine, one bed in 140 in the loft, fully equipped ‘American’ kitchen with bar, dining area, bathroom with bath, wasching machine, shower room, WC, spacious sitting/library room, wood stove, billiards, TF, TV (national channels), CD and DVD player, video cassette player, radio/hi-fi.
