We also offer orientation tours of our neighbourhood and central Accra. The NeighborhoodOur neighbourhood is a microcosim of Accra - rich and poor, residential and commercial, Christian and Muslim. A former presidential candidate lives close by, and yet we live less than a mile from Nima slum. The local carpenter makes furniture at the end of the road and women cook food on the sidewalks, while the offices Ogilvy advertising and of The Daily Guide newspaper are located on our street. Sunday mornings are full of hymn singing in a local church, while we often hear the call to prayer of the muezzin. Our garden and hostel feels like a haven from the city's hustle and bustle, and rumble of traffic that speeds by of Ring Road Central, a couple of block away. Getting AroundWe are very close to Ring Road Central with easy access to transport all over Accra and beyond. There's a taxi rank a block away. And we'll take you on your first trotro ride, if you're up for it. Other Things to NoteOur rooms are cleaned every day and beds are made up with fresh sheet every 3 days.

Elevated location with lots of sea breeze and nice view of McCarthy Hill. 20-30 minutes to Bojo beach, and about the same time to Labadi Beach. Very safe area, easy access to shops, markets, pharmacy, petrol/Gas station, convenience stores, fast food, taxi rank, Churches, etc. Please note that the generator on the premise will be provided with a full tank when you arrive. If you want to have the use of the generator when / if there are power cuts, you will need to pay a revolving fuel deposit of 500 GHC (approx $150) to my caretaker who will use it to top-up the generator whenever it is used and provide you with receipts as necessary. Interaction with GuestsWe prefer communication through this site except when the matter is urgent, this allows us to easily keep track of which communication pertains to a particular reservation. We do realize that on frequent occasions communication can be challenging in Ghana either by internet or phone and in that matter any form of communication possible is welcomed. I am out of the country most of the time so I may not have much of a personal interaction with most guest however there is 24 hour live security and maid service personnel on the premises so you are never alone unless you want to be left alone. The NeighborhoodGhanaians are friendly and welcoming traditionally with guest there for you rest assured that you will be surrounded with friendly people in a nice and quiet neighborhood. You can enjoy the quiet beach or have an active holiday – we can organize a batik or tie&dye cloth-making workshop, dancing and/or drumming lessons as well as acrobatic workshops... Guest AccessIt is situated on a small lush compound with a view of the sea while the beach is only a three-minute walk away where you can watch fishermen bringing in their catch, or dive into the waves of the Gulf of Guinea. Kokrobite, a well-known beach town popular with tourists and volunteers is only a five-minute drive away; Bojo Beach is only 20 minutes away; and it takes less than one hour to the Kotoka Airport and Accra. Langma is an excellent departure point for trips and exploration of Ghana.

The SpaceThis is vacation home that is well maintained and equipped to a standard above the average vacation home in western Europe. This is because it is our own personal vacation home and it is very important to us that the house provides above average comfort. As it is our own home, we have taken a lot of care and effort to renovate and finish the house in a way that appeals to us. Recently renovated, the house has 3 bedrooms, a spacious multi-purpose room which can be used as a bedroom or office, two spacious halls, two bathrooms (one ensuite and one shared) with showers, sink and toilet, a kitchen with storeroom, guest toilet and sink, corridor and verandah, back terrace behind kitchen and outdoor parking space for up to 3 vehicles. The house is very airy and light throughout, due to the many windows (louvres) and elevated location close to the sea. It also offers beautiful views of McCarthy hills and surrounding towns and overlooks the salt ponds (great for Christmas and new years fireworks viewing). Room details: the bedrooms have solid wooden beds, a king-sized bed in the master bedroom, a queen-sized bed in the second large bedroom, and a double bed in the smallest bedroom. There is an inflatable double bed that can be used in the multi-purpose room if needed. All wooden beds have matching bedside tables, with table lamps, and alarm clock radio. Each bedroom also has a real rattan sofa with coffee table and lamp, as well as solid fitted redwood wardrobes. The two large bedrooms also have air conditioning (brand new LG) and the master bedroom has an ensuite bathroom. Halls: the living room has a real rattan sitting chair set with coffee tables and table lamp, a 6-seater solid wooden dining table set, flat screen TV with satellite programmes, DVD player and an air conditioner. The visitors' hall has a full cane sitting chair set as well as a spare cane dining table and chairs set, and standing lamps. This hall doesn't not currently have air conditioning. Adjacent to the visitors hall is a guest toilet with sink. Kitchen: the fully equipped kitchen has solid wood fitted cabinets, double stainless steel sink with two drying wings, and store room with multiple shelves for optimal storage. It offers all kitchen equipment you can find in a proper western European kitchen, including coffee maker with mill, microwave oven, electric kettle and tea pot, liquidizer/chopper/food processor, various cooking pots, frying pans, baking tins, cooking utensils, table and serve ware, variety of glasses and cleaning equipment. Since spring 2016, we have also installed a brand new full-sized European refrigerator with freezer compartment and a brand new full-sized European cooker with five burners and electric fan oven. We offer a complete western standard kitchen and a great cooking experience. Bathrooms: the ensuite master bedroom bathroom, has a spacious shower with German armature, brand new European water heater, toilet, sink and mirror with shaving lamp. The second bathroom also has German armature, toilet, sink and LG self-heating 5 kg load capacity washing machine. The house also offers a lovely solid redwood garden chair set with cushions which can be used on the verandah where you will have a lovely view of beautiful palms and bougainvillea flowers on a manicured lawn. There is a laundry rack and spider which can be used to hang large loads of laundry, and several plastic laundry baskets, and clothes pegs. Guest AccessGuests will have the entire house to themselves - it will be like your own home and you will have your privacy. Except for night time security and emergency maintenance personnel, you will be on your own. You will be entirely responsible for security during the day (6 am to 8 pm). Interaction with GuestsWe (the owners) arrange rentals directly with guests and we control on-the-ground service. We are your main contact people for this rental. There are no agents involved. We tightly control access to the house as it is a private vacation home, so you need to arrange viewing through us. The NeighborhoodDansoman/South Odokor is the largest residential Estate in Africa. It is located near Mallam junction and is about 20-30 minutes drive from Kotoka Airport either via the N1 highway or central Accra. It is a safe and very respectable residential area which has its own thriving economy and offers everything one can find or needs in a modern town, including banks, ATMs, grocery shops, markets, mini-stores, filling stations, forex bureaus, fast food restaurants, clinics, etc. See Wikipedia for further details. Getting AroundTaxi rank one minute away. Easy access to shops, markets, beaches, nearby swimming pool, local bars and restaurants. Other Things to Note*Western European standard fully equipped home, best suited to long-term business travelers, academics on research projects, families traveling with/without children, older travelers, etc.; *Because the property is offered as a self-catering vacation home, guests are responsible for cleaning it and putting garbage out. Cleaning equipment is provided, however, as it is a very large house, if you need help with cleaning, we provide cleaning service, once a week (please enquire); *Air conditioning is currently only available in the living dining hall, multi-purpose room, and two large bedrooms. *Manned security provided from 8 pm to 6 am every day. Additional, day time security service can be provided at additional charge; *various children's toys and games for kids; *Game table (for children and adults) with multiple games including billiard, football kicker, chess, etc.; *The rent includes the cost of mains water, basic ECG and gas for cooking for the period of your stay; Vodafone internet units between 10 and 20 gigabytes; *Tenants need to pay for phone telephone calls; *Airport pickup for up to 4 persons with moderate luggage is available free of charge. The SpaceThis is a Self Catering Budget Holiday Apartment and a 1-BRM Upstairs, located in the heart of the city, on the quite vicinity of Osu Kuku Hill and on the street between Ringway Estate and Osu Kuku Hill. It is made of four {4} apartments on the same premise. Two {2} of One {1} Bedroom Apartments and Two {2} of Two {2} Bedroom Apartments, all En-Suite Bedrooms with Kitchen all on one premise. Apartments are fully furnished with ACs, Bedroom separate from Living Rooms. The Living Room has TV, DSTV decoder, a Dinning Area that seat Six {6} at the table. This apartment space is actually one of the old Osu Traditional Homes which has been remodeled to house four {4} apartments. This area also have new redevelopments and our premise is directly opposite the Chateau Towers, new and modern Sky Rise Building being developed by Hollywood International Developers Ltd. T.N. Apartment Rooms are most spacious rooms you can get in this Osu catchment area which is well known for its economical space. But we will not boast of modern esthetic, as we are yet to modernize the exteriors, so our exterior looks quite old. But location is very central and safe. Guest AccessOur Guests have access to the Parking Space within the yard. There is broadband internet shared by all those resident within this facility. All apartments are installed with DSTV Satelite, but will only be switched on if guests are interested and ready to pay for using it if stay is less than two {2} weeks. However those using the apartment for two {2} weeks or more will enjoy free DSTV, Internet, Airport Pick Up and Cell Phone with some few minutes for International Calls. There are specialized workers on hand to come and fix things as soon as possible. There is constant flow of water, ACs in all the rooms are in perfect working conditions. Rooms are well cleaned with the CEO herself involved in the cleaning to ensure quality service and provision of clean apartment prior to your arrival. Interaction with GuestsHost does not leave on the premise, but pays regular visits to the site to see how guests are doing. Host has dedicated lines for guests to call any time of the day to report any incident. One can also check on TripAdvisor to read some of the reviews given this property. The NeighborhoodThis area is so unique because this is where you experience real action and all the hot spots are located on the Oxford Street which is a walking distance from the apartment. The Oxford Street is a 24 hr action area and night life on this street is vibrant. The beach known as the La Pleasure Beach is five {5} minutes drive away. There are known hospitals like the Trust Hospital, the Trust Specialist Hospital is next to our building and there are different kinds of restaurants such as Chinese, Indian, Ghanaian, Nigerian etc. Getting AroundLocation of this apartment is such that by standing in front of the apartment, you can catch a taxi to wherever you want. There are also Hiring Car Companies around the area or guests can call for our in-house Car Rental Service. Public transports, popularly known in Ghana as "Trotro" stops are on the main street of Osu Oxford Street and the Ring Road which are all walking distances from the apartment. The SpaceIroko Villa is a large architect-designed modern timber-framed beach house in Kokrobite, Accra, Ghana. The house has four bedrooms (3 doubles and 1 twin) all with modern on-suit bathrooms and balconies. There is a huge open-plan living area (plus a large outside deck), a modern kitchen, and a barbeque area making the house ideal for entertaining. The large garden has a decked path onto the beach and an outside shower. Ocean views and sounds are uninterrupted, as is the 24-hour cooling sea breeze. The house is 30-40 minutes drive from the airport or central Accra. There are a few local bars and restaurants a short walk along the beach. There is a large international supermarket chain 10 minutes drive away The house comes with a 24-hour watchman and a housekeeper, who will also cook and negotiate the best rates for the fresh fish and lobster caught in front of the house, which has tended to be a staple for my family when staying at the house. Interaction with GuestsAll airport transfers and transport needs whilst in Ghana will be organized by our two local business partners Adolf or Gert, who are also on hand to make sure your stay is as relaxing or exhilarating as you want it to be. The NeighborhoodKokrobite beach is a fantastic place to relax, but yet still within easy distance of the city and airport. The local bars and restaurants, which are a short walk along the beach, are starting to develop an interesting music scene, especially at the week-ends. Getting AroundLocal taxis can be waved down and are cheap and plentiful and are fine for short journeys, but tend to be a little small and warm for longer journeys.

The SpaceThe idea for this shared space is to host young creative people in Accra for short durations. You can stay in cheaper places in Accra, but we make sure you have your essentials: water, electricity, gas for cooking, internet and security. For long term stays, our price drops so that we can come to cost-sharing arrangements. For all stays over two days, you will be responsible for utilities (internet credit, petrol for the generator, gas for cooking). This is on a "pay-as-you-go" principle. Guest AccessEach guest can share a bedroom with one other person and also shares the common spaces including kitchenette, living room and bathrooms. Interaction with GuestsA security guard ensures security at night. Otherwise, we are a phone call away in case of any issue. The NeighborhoodKaneshie is a vibrant neighborhood next to the main artery of Accra, Kwame Nkrumah Circle. Kaneshie was built in the 1960s one of Accra's first working class neighborhoods, and many of these original families still own houses here. Getting AroundPublic transportation is extremely easy. Kaneshie station is just 5 minutes away, while Kwame Nkrumah Circle station is 5 minutes the other way. From Circle, you can reach any location in Accra! Circle is considered the center of Accra. You will be 10 minutes from Osu, 15 minutes from Airport and 10 minutes from central Accra (with traffic, please add 30-45 minutes onto travel time). Other Things to NoteNote. The ACs in each room will not work if connected to the generator due to capacity. Therefore, each room also comes equipped with a fan during power outages. Fuel for the generator for an 8 hour period will cost you about GHS 50. We hope the power crisis will ease up soon. Currently, power outages occur almost daily or every other day for 12 hours or so.

              It is the private vacation home of a Ghanaian/Japanese/German family based in Germany. We spend 3-4 weeks a year in Ghana and always love to return to our home. It is very important to us that our accommodation is very clean and comfortable. Experience Ghana like Ghanaians do, authentically, in a safe, well established, and very lively area, from a very pleasant and comfortable home. Why stay in the old traditional expatriate areas? Come and see the house for yourself and you will be charmed! This vacation home is well maintained and equipped to a standard above the average vacation home in western Europe. This is because it is our own personal vacation home and it is very important to us that the house provides above average comfort. Recently renovated, the house has 3 bedrooms, a spacious multi-purpose room which can be used as a bedroom or office, two spacious halls, two bathrooms (one ensuite and one shared) with showers, sink and toilet, a kitchen with storeroom, guest toilet and sink, corridor and verandah, back terrace behind kitchen and outdoor parking space for up to 3 vehicles. The house is very airy and light throughout, due to the many windows (louvres) and elevated location close to the sea. It also offers beautiful views of McCarthy hills and surrounding towns and overlooks the salt ponds (great for Christmas and new years fireworks viewing). As it is our own home, we have taken a lot of care and effort to renovate and finish the house in a way that appeals to us. Guests will note the use of real, quality, African timber for most of our furniture and permanent fixtures, which are expensive to build/install. The kitchen cabinets are a source of pride to us, having a counter top made of a single piece of redwood timber, rare to find, and, constructed by a very talented local carpenter. Room details: the bedrooms have solid wooden beds, a king-sized bed in the master bedroom, a queen-sized bed in the second large bedroom, and a double bed in the smallest bedroom. There is an inflatable double bed that can be used in the multi-purpose room if needed. All wooden beds have matching bedside tables, with table lamps, and alarm clock radio. Each bedroom also has a real rattan sofa with coffee table and lamp, as well as solid fitted redwood wardrobes. The two large bedrooms also have air conditioning (brand new LG) and the master bedroom has an ensuite bathroom. Halls: the living room has a real rattan sitting chair set with coffee tables and table lamp, a 6-seater solid wooden dining table set, flat screen TV with satellite programmes, a DVD player, and Air Conditioning. The visitors' hall has a full cane sitting chair set as well as a spare cane dining table and chairs set, and standing lamps. Adjacent to the visitors hall is a guest toilet with sink. Kitchen: the fully equipped kitchen has solid wood fitted cabinets, double stainless steel sink with two drying wings, and store room with multiple shelves for optimal storage. It offers all kitchen equipment you can find in a proper western European kitchen, including coffee maker with mill, microwave oven, electric kettle and tea pot, liquidizer/chopper/food processor, various cooking pots, frying pans, baking tins, cooking utensils, table and serve ware, variety of glasses and cleaning equipment. Since spring 2016, we have also installed a brand new full-sized European refrigerator with freezer compartment and a brand new full-sized European cooker with five burners and electric fan oven. We offer a complete western standard kitchen and a great cooking experience. Bathrooms: the ensuite master bedroom bathroom, has a spacious shower with German armature, brand new European water heater, toilet, sink and mirror with shaving lamp. The second bathroom also has German armature, toilet, sink and LG self-heating 5 kg load capacity washing machine. There is hot water supply to both bathrooms. To enjoy garden life, there is a lovely solid redwood garden chair set with cushions which can be used on the verandah where you will have a lovely view of beautiful palms and bougainvillea flowers on a manicured lawn. There is also a Laundry Rack and Rotary Laundry Line which can be used to hang large loads of laundry (outdoors), clothes pegs, several plastic laundry baskets, a steam iron and ironing table. Guest Access: Guests will have the entire house to themselves - it will be like your own home and you will have your privacy. Except for night time security and emergency maintenance personnel, you will be on your own. You will be entirely responsible for security during the day (6 am to 8 pm). Interaction with Guests: We (the owners) arrange rentals directly with guests and we control on-the-ground service. We are your main contact people for this rental. There are no agents involved. We tightly control access to the house as it is a private vacation home, so you need to arrange viewing through us. Rate includes basic utilities including ECG units worth GHC200, water, gas and 20 gig Vodafone internet units, per month. Host will pay for generator fuel (Diesel) up to GHC200 per month if generator power is required.                                 This is vacation home that is well maintained and equipped to a standard above the average vacation home in western Europe. This is because it is our own personal vacation home and it is very important to us that the house provides above average comfort. We have taken a lot of care and effort to renovate and finish the house in a way that appeals to us. Recently renovated, the house has 3 bedrooms, a spacious multi-purpose room which can be used as a bedroom or office, two spacious halls, two bathrooms (one ensuite and one shared) with showers, sink and toilet, a kitchen with storeroom, guest toilet and sink, corridor and verandah, back terrace behind kitchen and outdoor parking space for up to 3 vehicles. The house is very airy and light throughout, due to the many windows (louvres) and elevated location close to the sea. It also offers beautiful views of McCarthy hills and surrounding towns and overlooks the salt ponds (great for Christmas and new years fireworks viewing). Room details: the bedrooms have solid wooden beds, a king-sized bed in the master bedroom, a queen-sized bed in the second large bedroom, and a double bed in the smallest bedroom. There is an inflatable double bed that can be used in the multi-purpose room if needed. All wooden beds have matching bedside tables, with table lamps, and alarm clock radio. Each bedroom also has a real rattan sofa with coffee table and lamp, as well as solid fitted redwood wardrobes. The two large bedrooms also have air conditioning (brand new LG) and the master bedroom has an ensuite bathroom. Halls: the living room has a real rattan sitting chair set with coffee tables and table lamp, a 6-seater solid wooden dining table set, flat screen TV with satellite programmes, DVD player and an air conditioner. The visitors' hall has a full cane sitting chair set as well as a spare cane dining table and chairs set, and standing lamps. This hall doesn't not currently have air conditioning. Adjacent to the visitors hall is a guest toilet with sink. Kitchen: the fully equipped kitchen has solid wood fitted cabinets, double stainless steel sink with two drying wings, and store room with multiple shelves for optimal storage. It offers all kitchen equipment you can find in a proper western European kitchen, including coffee maker with mill, microwave oven, electric kettle and tea pot, liquidizer/chopper/food processor, various cooking pots, frying pans, baking tins, cooking utensils, table and serve ware, variety of glasses and cleaning equipment. Since spring 2016, we have also installed a brand new full-sized European refrigerator with freezer compartment and a brand new full-sized European cooker with five burners and electric fan oven. We offer a complete western standard kitchen and a great cooking experience. Bathrooms: the ensuite master bedroom bathroom, has a spacious shower with German armature, brand new European water heater, toilet, sink and mirror with shaving lamp. The second bathroom also has German armature, toilet, sink and LG self-heating 5 kg load capacity washing machine. The house also offers a lovely solid redwood garden chair set with cushions which can be used on the verandah where you will have a lovely view of beautiful palms and bougainvillea flowers on a manicured lawn. There is a laundry rack and spider which can be used to hang large loads of laundry, and several plastic laundry baskets, and clothes pegs. Guest Access Guests will have the entire house to themselves - it will be like your own home and you will have your privacy. Except for night time security and emergency maintenance personnel, you will be on your own. You will be entirely responsible for security during the day (6 am to 8 pm). Interaction with Guests We (the owners) arrange rentals directly with guests and we control on-the-ground service. We are your main contact people for this rental. There are no agents involved. We tightly control access to the house as it is a private vacation home, so you need to arrange viewing through us. Other Things to Note *Western European standard fully equipped home, best suited to long-term business travelers, academics on research projects, families traveling with/without children, older travelers, etc.; *Guests are responsible for cleaning the house and putting garbage out. As it is a very large house, if you need help with cleaning, we can provide cleaning service, once a week (please enquire); *Air conditioning is currently only available in the living dining hall, multi-purpose room, and two large bedrooms. We plan to install further ACs in the visitors hall, kitchen and smaller bedroom in December 2016. *Manned security provided from 8 pm to 6 am every day. Additional, day time security service can be provided at additional charge; *Airport pickup for up to 4 persons with moderate luggage is available free of charge. We prefer and encourage long stays (stays of a month or more, minimum 14 days) and offer a reduced rent for stays over a month. Currently the rate for a months long rental is US$2000 including basic utilities (water, electricity, gas and 20 gg internet).
