We can help you to arrange trips and outings, and have a local contact who provides freshly caught fish and lobsters which taste delicious grilled on our BBQ. The typically, tropical meal of "chicken, rice & peas" can be cooked to order. We are South-facing & the evening skies can be quite spectacular. For the star-gazers, we have a telescope (25-75 x 90) The NeighborhoodBaywatch is located on a headland overlooking Westerhall Bay and the Caribbean Sea. We are located in a rural, peaceful local community where people are very friendly and welcoming. The beautiful beach at La Sagesse is just 4 miles away & the splendid restaurant/bar/marina at Le Phare Bleu is just 15 minutes drive down the road. The St Davids working boatyard (Grenada Marine) is just a couple of miles away - also boasting a good, unpretentious bar & snack restaurant. The neighbourhood is residential and incredibly safe and friendly, with perfect sunset's and spectacular views. Getting AroundIt's easy to get around, as the main road between St Georges & Grenville is only five minutes walk away from the house. Buses are frequent and travel to all parts of the island, including the capital of St. George's and the renowned Grand Anse beach in the south of the island. A bakery and supermarket is just a short walk away. Reliable taxi & car rental services can be recommended. Other Things to NoteWe welcome single travellers, couples and families. Ezulwini Cottage is perched on a hill and sits on 1.4 acres of fertile land, commanding the most magnificent views of ocean, hills and valleys. Our house is built of green heart timber so it is cool without the need for air conditioning. Mosquitoes are rare because it is windy up here. Our organic garden boasts of over 15 varieties of seasonal fruits, vegetables and a small herb garden. Walk through and pick whatever fruits and veggies are in season, while watching the hummingbird hovering over the flowers extracting the nectar. Do you know the rate at which a hummingbird flaps its wings? You will just have to relax and try counting! Our double bedrooms are bright, airy and comfortable. Relax on the expansive balcony while eating a plate of fresh fruits from our garden, sipping sundowners - try our own special cocktail "Ezulwini Sunset" while enjoying the panoramic view and gorgeous sunsets. We have an additional balcony upstairs to capture the mountain views; there is also a library and a sitting area if you need to be alone. There are also yoga mats if you are interested. We have special car hire rates with two companies but you must book early. We also work so we won't be able to entertain you all day long. The NeighborhoodEnjoy a short, quiet drive through a small shady cocoa plantation before approaching the cottage which is only an 8 minute bus ride away from the famous La Sagesse beach and nature centre. Waterfalls are only 10 mins' drive away. We are 30 minutes away from the city centre and 35 minutes away from the airport. Grenville town is 20 minutes (website hidden). Saint David's is an ideal location to access popular attractions including Grand Etang Lake, River Antoine Distillery, Forts George, Fredrick and Old Fort. It's also great for cycling and getting to meet the locals or go for nature walks. This is also a good place to recuperate. In Grenada it is the custom to greet others we meet along the way with "Good morning" or "Good afternoon." It is a way of recognizing a person's presence, so don't be surprised if you get lots of "good mornings"! Getting AroundYou can rent a car, jeep, moped or bicycle. There are buses to and from St. George's and Grenville, which usually run up until 7 or 8 p.m. You can't get lost. People are very friendly and are more than happy to give you directions. Please note that the price quoted is based on a couple per night per room with tropical breakfast included. Breakfast includes homemade bread and jams, tea (herbal or regular) or coffee, seasonal fruits and juices from our garden. Getting AroundThe semi-private busses pass frequently on St David's main road between 6am-9pm. you can get to the Universities, Airport and Grand Anse beach in under 15 minutes, or to downtown St Georges in 20. Gabriels Car Rental is a 2 minute walk offering a fine selection of cars and SUV's to explore the island with.

The SpaceThe apartment is screened so insects are not a problem and we have plenty of cool ocean breezes in addition to ceiling fans. We provide a local cell phone for use by our guests at no charge. The self catering apartment contains bath essentials as well as basic food condiments and kitchen essentials. You are good to go! Our charming apartment at Tropical Joy is about a 30 minute drive from the town of St. Georges. If taxi, vehicle rentals or tour services are required, we know affordable, professional people who can assist. Guest AccessGuests have access to the local beaches. We have a nice one at Belle Isle. Interaction with GuestsGuests can enjoy their privacy, however, since we live at the property we are always available for direction to Grenada's beautiful landmarks. We are great cooks so meals can always be arranged if our guests are so inclined. The NeighborhoodOur neighborhood is quiet and for the most part without the barking dogs, and loud music. We are rural and the neighbors are great. Locals fish from the point down the road. Hiking is fun and we have a local ruin of a sugar mill just around the corner. Be sure to say hello to all as we are very friendly here in St. David's Parish and most everyone is keen to be helpful. Getting AroundWe have bus service at the main road that is very affordable. We recommend hiring a car or taxi although as good hosts, we are available in an emergency. Other Things to NoteWe are not against small, well behaved pets as long as no damage incurs and the guests clean up after them. This is all at our discretion.

Our village is tiny, and has a natural spring. There are pleasant walks and strenuous hikes, stunning scenery and friendly people. POOL The pool is surrounded by landscaped gardens and features a gazebo close by where you can enjoy a cocktail while taking a break from the sun. There is an outdoor shower so that you can quickly rinse off after a dip in the sea or a game of tennis before diving in. (Liability waiver is required). LIT TENNIS COURT Sitting on the flat at the foot of the hillside, the private tennis court is nestled beside the waterfront so that sea breezes keep you cool while you play. The court is also fully lit so you can play tennis late into the night. There is a paved driveway that leads down from the house in the event that guests prefer to drive down to the court or beach. GARDENS This exceptional property is a two acre spread that features a well tended array of blooming flowers and bearing fruit trees including pomegranate, lime, lemon, orange, papaya, West Indian cherry, carambola, coconut and many more. While the villa itself sits perched on the hillside for optimum views, the beautifully terraced gardens gently step down all the way to private water access. BEACH & WATERFRONT There is a small beach, accessible only to you, ideal for sunbathing and exploring. Solitaire sits on a sheltered bay so the waters are always calm and gently lapping at the shore. The bay is home to fertile reefs where there is an abundance of sea life and you may even catch a glimpse of local fishermen in small boats out in the waters. If you decide to swim in the bay we highly recommend you wear swimming shoes to ensure you protect your feet from coral. There are three additional beaches located in the neighborhood within walking distance should you choose to explore. CONCIERGE & PROPERTY MANAGER During your stay, a concierge and property manager will be only a phone call away, and will make all arrangements for your needs ahead of your arrival. The bedroom has 2 single beds (British Size) which can be put together to make one bed for couples. The bathroom has hot and cold running water. A cot/crib is available for couples with a young baby. There is also access to some gym equipment for keep fit aficionados including a power rider, lateral trainer, fitness ball, Beyblade, Weights, stretch bands, Easy Shaper Pro, skipping ropes, chest expander resistance bands etc Guest AccessGuests will have access to the entire verandah of the house. Washing machine and additional toilet facilities available on the lower floor. Ironing board and iron provided. Bedroom has ceiling fan - other portable fans are available if desired. The cottage was originally the Estate Office, where the cocoa was weighed and the wages were paid. The old scales are still in the garden, and the concrete pillars and iron runners were where the cocoa was dried. The area is known locally as Cocoa D because “dat’s where de cocoa be”! We are about 800 ft above sea level and look out to the Atlantic. We are not far from the rain forest. If you go up our road (which turns into a track higher up) you will see the vegetation change and feel the temperature drop. The landscape is beautiful, with lush vegetation, tropical flowers and trees, a wealth of bird life and there are dramatic views of the mountains and coastline. We are a working farm so no apologies for the mud, the greedy goats, the noisy sheep and the braying donkey! The animals are very tame – please come and meet them. We grow all our produce organically and supply many of the local hotels and restaurants. We have six acres of cocoa and nutmeg, with mango trees, avocado, pawpaw, and bananas. We are ten minutes drive from La Sagesse Beach, and twenty five minutes from Grand Anse beach and the capital, St. George's. There is a local bus to St. George's.

It's conveniently close to a well stocked local supermarket, bakery and pharmacy. It's suitable for couples or individuals as its two single beds (British size ) can be put together as one for couples when required. A baby's cot/ crib is available if needed. There is a complimentary collect and return service to the airport . Getting to the capital, St George's, or the tourist belt of Grand Anse is easy, as the main road and bus route is less than a 5 minute walk away. There is also a rum distillery and museum almost on the doorstep. Nearby is a reputable car hire company. The apartment is part of a property set in 3/4 acre of gently sloping land with a variety of mature fruit trees which guests are welcome to pick and enjoy when fruit is in season. It's kitchen is well equipped and there is easy access to the washing machine and additional toilet on the ground floor. There is free parking available. Although the apartment has its own entrance and verandah, guests have access to the entire verandah of the property . There is a large ceiling fan in the bedroom and extra portable fans available if needed. The house has 3 bedrooms of which 1 is occupied by the owner, Linnette, and 2 guest rooms. The guest rooms, Garden- and Seaview, are sharing a bathroom which is spacious and open designed. Hot water is available. There is enough space upstairs the property for your rental cars. The driveway to the house is quite steep and is only suggested to use with a 4x4. Anyhow it is only a 30m walk over steps from the allowed road. You will have access to high speed wireless internet. Interaction with GuestsLinnette, the owner of the villa, is a selfemployed and very busy but also very lovely, respectful and helping lady. You would never think that she just became 60 once you meet her. She will enjoy your company and good conversations and always loves to host people from all over the world. She most likely leaves the house early in the morning and comes back late. She is happy when you are happy and you can have her interaction just as much as you like. There are enough comfort zones on the property to meet or escape. We, Ivonne and Marc, are living on our sailboat Malu and hopefully get the chance to meet you personally if we are not off to a charter. We will be your upfront communication partners and official hosts. The NeighborhoodThe neighborhood on the peninsular of Fort Jeudy is a very wealthy area with a lot of fancy houses and one of the most wanted properties you will find in Grenada. It is not too far away from the capital St.Georges (about 10minutes by bus or car) but still the tranquility and peace of a private and secluded property with a private beach that you will surely not find in busy areas like Grand Anse or St.Georges. Getting AroundOn one of our pictures you can see an aerial shot and the allowed road leading to the mainroad where you can catch minibusses for 1USdollar per ride. From the villa it is about a 20 minute walk to there, but the most common way to get around in Grenada, especially in remote places, is to get a lift with anybody. Dozens of workers, maids and gardeners are making their way in the morning to the private properties and are getting a lift by property owners, guests, or employed companies. The area and Grenada in common is a very friendly and safe place to spend your holidays and travel at all times of the day. Nobody will harass you at any time. Anyhow it is of course always easier to travel the island with a rental car or scooter. We are about to offer a rental scooter and bicycles for the property soon in the near future to offer you more flexibility during your stay. Although Linnette is quite busy in her job, she will always offer you a lift down the road, in her direction or for a collective shopping trip. There are no busses going to the airport and you will always need a taxi. We would like to send you our friend and taxi driver Felix to pick you up as he knows the villa and also holds a key for it. A transport from the airport is about 30USdollars. You can also ask Felix for island trips, shopping tours or other individual tours of course. He will be happy to assist you. The NeighborhoodA quiet, friendly and safe neighborhood with lovely views of Westerhall Point, Bay and its surroundings. There is a neighborhood supermarket, pharmacy, fuel station with convenience store, rum distillery and small museum all within walking distance. Getting AroundThere is convenient public transportation during the day. Guests can catch one of the mini buses (a must do) on the main road out front, which will take you directly into town where you can make other connections to take you anywhere else on the island. The fee is just over US$1 per trip. Taxi service can also be arranged for day tours and evening trips to dinner or entertainment at local resorts. We can arrange a rental vehicle for those who prefer to find their way around themselves. However, driving here on the island is not for the fainthearted. Guests can be picked up from the airport. A small fee will be charged for this service. Other Things to NoteCome stay with us for "Spice Mas", Grenada's annual carnival. Celebrations start in mid July, however activities commence in earnest from August 1 st., and the excitement lasts for two weeks. Whilst here, visit our Underwater Sculpture Park (reportedly the world's first underwater sculpture gallery). Tour the ruins of an old cocoa plantation where you can get to taste our very own world famous organic chocolate, made right there on site! Begin the day with an early morning swim on La Sagesse Beach, a 10 min. drive away or watch the sun go down at the end of the day on Grand Anse Beach, only 20 mins. away. Hike to St. Margaret's (Seven Sister's) Falls in the Grand Etang rain forest and take a relaxing swim in one of the oh so refreshing natural pools.... Trust me, there's lots more to see and do here on island! Just know that whenever you come, a great time awaits you!!

                                                          The SpaceRural Retreat St David is a rural area, the third largest parish in Grenada and is without a town. Hampstead is the name and was one of the many estates in the parish growing nutmeg and other spices. Hurricane Ivan just over 10 years ago destroyed the nutmeg which was the main source of income for most of the residents. On my little piece of Hampstead I have replanted many of the lost nutmeg, papaya and other fruit trees and vegetable. The area is very quiet, peaceful and cool (no air conditioning needed). The reason for the quietness is that I live at the foot of a mountain. You will be able to hear the monkeys in the early morning around 5.30am teasing the neighbour’s dogs, something they seem to enjoy doing. The monkeys make their way down from Grand Etang mountain where they live. The surrounding area is ideal for hiking, photography or just sitting around and enjoying the green trees and listening to the birds. There are around 12 villages to explore many close to Hampstead, such as Apres Tout, Dudmar, Content and Pomme Rose, There are as many beaches the majority are accessible by car or on foot. I live 10 minutes away by car from La Sagesse Beach, 30 minutes from St George (the capital) and 30 minutes from Grenville, the next largest town. You will be able to walk around my garden (land) and help yourself to papaya (pawpaw) for your breakfast or banana that is hanging up to ripe or pick a coconut from the tree and have a cool glass of coconut water. St David is a beautiful parish. There is no nightlife, no nightclubs. There a local bars where you will meet the locals and have a drink or something to eat and lots of chat. It is by far Grenada loveliest parish to explore and feel like Robinson Crusoe. Guest AccessThe house is on two floors and the visitor will be on the ground floor. It is totally self contained and we will not be sharing the space. You will have access to the garden to walk around and pick fruits to eat and enjoy. There is no veranda but there are places to sit out and enjoy the sunshine. Our organic garden boasts of over 15 varieties of seasonal fruits, vegetables and a small herb garden. Walk through and pick whatever fruits and veggies are in season, while watching the hummingbird hovering over the flowers extracting the nectar. Do you know the rate at which a hummingbird flaps its wings? You will just have to relax and try counting! Our double bedrooms are bright, airy and comfortable. Relax on the expansive balcony while eating a plate of fresh fruits from our garden, sipping sundowners - try our own special cocktail "Ezulwini Sunset" while enjoying the panoramic view and gorgeous sunsets. The NeighborhoodEnjoy a short, quiet drive through a small shady cocoa plantation before approaching the cottage which is only an 8 minute bus ride away from the famous La Sagesse beach and nature centre. We are 30 minutes away from the city centre and 35 minutes away from the airport. Grenville town is only 20 minutes (website hidden). Saint David's is an ideal location to access popular attractions including Grand Etang Lake, River Antoine Distillery, Forts George, Fredrick and Old Fort. It's also great for cycling and getting to meet the locals or go for nature walks. This is also a good place to recuperate. In Grenada it is the custom to greet others we meet along the way with "Good morning" or "Good afternoon." It is a way of recognizing a person's presence, so don't be surprised if you get lots of "good mornings"! Getting AroundYou can rent a car, jeep, moped or bicycle. There are buses to and from St. George's and Grenville, which usually run up until 7 or 8 p.m. You can't get lost, and people are very friendly and more than happy to give you directions. We have one scooter rental on the property at a reduced rate but only for Ezulwini guests Other Things to NoteAdditional rooms are available upon request. They must be booked in advance as they are always freshly prepared. Vegetarian meals are no problem either. However, Jelena who is from Croatia, is a superb cook and will be delighted to host you. There is a scooter rental for guests. this is at a reduced rate. Guest AccessYour arrival, either by boat or plane, can be accommodated. We have a management company that will be able to show you the property and arrange keys etc. Please let us know your arrival details as soon as possible. Interaction with GuestsA friend on the Island helps out, you will be able to contact her when needed, though in the main you will be left alone, to relax and enjoy. Gardeners and maids appear, and they can offer services and advice specific to the island, they're very friendly and only call for brief periods. The NeighborhoodLocated on a private, gated peninsula. The Westerhall Land Settlement is a great place to relax with a rum punch, in the untouched paradise of the Caribbean that is Grenada. Getting AroundHire of a car is recommended, especially for shopping and going to beaches. There is one main road around the island that makes for a good day trip to see some stunning spots - or stay at a hotel and make it a mini-trip. Buses are available on the Island, they are very cheap but an unusual experience. They fit 10-12 people and are fairly regular during the day. Taxis tend to be very expensive

                                                          The Spaceyour cheerful and bright room offers a nice view over the garden and the sea. Listening to the waves washing gently ashore is a wonderful experience. It has a very big closet and a ceiling fan as well as moskito screens on the windows. A brand new airconditioning unit is installed. The room has a kingsize double bed. All over the house you will have access to high speed wireless internet including in your room. Guest AccessYou have basically access to everything rather than the other bedrooms. You have full access to the kitchen, living rooms, garden, verandas and the private beach. The house has 3 bedrooms of which 1 is occupied by the owner, Linnette, and 2 guest rooms. The guest rooms, Garden- and Seaview, are sharing a bathroom which is spacious and open designed. Hot water is available. There is enough space upstairs the property for your rental cars. The driveway to the house is quite steep and is only suggested to use with a 4x4. Anyhow it is only a 30m walk over steps from the allowed road. You will have access to high speed wireless internet. Interaction with GuestsLinnette, the owner of the villa, is a selfemployed and very busy but also very lovely, respectful and helping lady. You would never think that she just became 60 once you meet her. She will enjoy your company and good conversations and always loves to host people from all over the world. She most likely leaves the house early in the morning and comes back late. She is happy when you are happy and you can have her interaction just as much as you like. There are enough comfort zones on the property to meet or escape. We, Ivonne and Marc, are living on our sailboat Malu and hopefully get the chance to meet you personally if we are not off to a charter. We will be your upfront communication partners and official hosts. We saw the need in offering our guests another type of honest and true holiday experience in Grenada which can be also combined with charteres and boating but also the chance of helping our very good and special friend Linnette in advertising her little piece of paradise through us. The NeighborhoodThe neighborhood on the peninsular of Fort Jeudy is a very wealthy area with a lot of fancy houses and one of the most wanted properties you will find in Grenada. It is not too far away from the capital St.Georges (about 10minutes by bus or car) but still the tranquility and peace of a private and secluded property with a private beach that you will surely not find in busy areas like Grand Anse or St.Georges. Getting AroundOn one of our pictures you can see an aerial shot and the allowed road leading to the mainroad where you can catch minibusses for 1USdollar per ride. From the villa it is about a 20 minute walk to there, but the most common way to get around in Grenada, especially in remote places, is to get a lift with anybody. Dozens of workers, maids and gardeners are making their way in the morning to the private properties and are getting a lift by property owners, guests, or employed companies. The area and Grenada in common is a very friendly and safe place to spend your holidays and travel at all times of the day. Nobody will harass you at any time. Anyhow it is of course always easier to travel the island with a rental car or scooter. We are about to offer a rental scooter and bicycles for the property soon in the near future to offer you more flexibility during your stay. Although Linnette is quite busy in her job, she will always offer you a lift down the road, in her direction or for a collective shopping trip. There are no busses going to the airport and you will always need a taxi. We would like to send you our friend and taxi driver Felix to pick you up as he knows the villa and also holds a key for it. A transport from the airport is about 30USdollars. You can also ask Felix for island trips, shopping tours or other individual tours of course. He will be happy to assist you.
