Her phone number is (+(PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN) The NeighborhoodReynisholt is in the southernmost region of Iceland, Mýrdalur a green and lush farmland, bordered by black sand beaches, birdcliffs and the glacier Mýrdalsjökull as a backdrop. The birdlife is very rich, especially early spring and fall when the migrant birds flock to the wetlands the region is named for.
Reynisfjara, the beach between Reynifjall and Dyrhólaey is a very popular destination. The cliffs Reynisdrangar are to the east and Dyrhólaey to the west. The surf is magnificent but dangerous, never turn your back on the incoming surf as it is not regular and waves can reach far ashore. Never leave children unattended there.
After an outing in Reynisfjara a visit to the Black beach restaurant by the beach, is lovely, to enjoy refreshments and the view. They also have free wifi access if you need. Getting AroundThe village Vík is just across the mountain, there you will find a grocery shop, souvenirs, a swimming pool, restaurants, information center and more. Other Things to NoteThe stove will get very hot so please be careful and be vigilant if children are around it. The kindling is in bins by the stove, newsprint and firewood. More supplies are in the storage on the patio.
A propane gas grill is also stored there and an extra propane tank.
The weather in Mýrdalur changes constantly so be prepared for rain, sun, calm and wind – all in the same day!
