Chamba is situated at an elevation of 1676 meter above the sea level. The place is surrounded by dense pine forest. 3. The Surkanda peak lying at an altitude of 2,750 m. in the western part of tahsil Tehri, and is famous for the temple of Surkanda Devi. It is about 8 km. from Dhanolti on the motor road running from Mussoorie to Chamba and is connected with Narendra Nagar which is about 61 km. With Tehri it is about 41 km. To reach temple one has to leave the Mussoorie-Chamba road at Kadu Khal and climb a steep ascent of about 1.5 km on foot. 4.There are many nearby places to see in Dhanaulti including Barehipani and Joranda Falls, Dashavatar Temple, Deogarh Fort, Matatila Dam and Jain Temples. Joranda and Barehipani are two unique water showers which attract a large number of people. Dashavatar shrine is devoted to Lord Vishnu; this temple was discovered during Gupta period. Deogarh is the most attractive fort in Dhanaulti area, constructed in 16th century. Apart from these attractions, people can also make a visit to Matatila Dam, a popular picnic spot in the centre of the hills of Dhanaulti. A lot of people are not yet aware of Dhanaulti, but the place is an absolutely attractive and charming destination in the Uttarakhand state. The town is located just 30 kilometers away from Mussoorie, making for a good excursion tour in Uttarakhand. It lies along the Mussoorie-Chamba road, elevated at a height of 2250 meters above the sea level. It is far away from the bustle of the cities and offers calm and perfect peace for those who seek it. 5.Mansoori There are plenty of picturistique destinations to visit in Mussoorie. You can plan to visit Gun Hill, where you'll enjoy riding ropeway on the second highest peak in Mussoorie. Municipal Garden, a beautiful park, has an artificial lake and boating facilities as well. Tehri Dam is constructed at the place of New Tehri when the Old Tehri submerged. It is about 20 km from Kanatal. This is also an interesting place to visit around Kanatal city. Tehri lake is spreaded 40,000 Acres. The Tehri Dam is laid over the confluence and Alaknanda River. While visiting the dam people can also see the interesting and attracting scene of confluence. This also attracts tourists a lot in large numbers. In recent years there is lake festival is being organized in the month of November. 7. Chakrata is around 98 kilo meters away from the capital city Dehradun of Uttarakhand. 125 kms from Kanatal. The region is perched at a height of about 7000 ft above the sea level. The site is located between the Yamuna and Tons River. The beautiful area is circled with rhododendron and Oak trees. Chakrata is blessed with the natural beauties and panoramic view. The eastern side of the region is occupied by the magnificent hilly town of Mussoorie. While the west is of Kaleidoscopic Kinnaur. Foreigners are not allowed into the cantonment of military of Chakrata. Chakrata includes many tourist attractions Tiger Fall, Ram Tal Garden, Deoban, Moigad fall and many among others. Tiger fall in the area is considered to be a huge crowd-puller. Whoever visits Chakrata doesn't miss out a visit to the very popular Tiger Fall.

The SpaceThere are 8 rooms in the guesthouse, each with a double bed and attached bathroom with running water. Extra beds can be put in if there is a slightly larger group. We also offer tents, which can be pitched on the ground if a group so desires. All rooms face the river. There is a view of the river and forest from each room and dining hall. Each room has its own attached toilet and shower with hot water. All rooms are equipped with ceiling fans (no need for AC as it is in the mountains). Room heaters are available in the winter. In the photo gallery you can see some impressions of our rooms as well as the surrounding areas. Room Each room's cost includes vegetarian breakfast for the residents of the room Extra beds cost 500 INR each (± € 7, about USD 8) Lunch and dinner are available, at extra cost, so please notify us when booking if you will be needing food as well; or at least 24 hours in advance, if you are already checked in. We try to provide only organic food. Since we are close to the villages, we make every effort to purchase our food supplies from the villagers. Of course, if this is not available, then we purchase from the market. We are developing a herb and vegetable garden on the grounds, and guests are invited to become actively involved if gardening is their interest. Trip approx 12 hours (2) learn advanced Kundalini techniques from Shankar guruji in 4000 year old Vimaleshwar Temple at 7150 feet altitude; stay for the night or walk back to Uttarkashi via Sangrali terraced village. Trip approx 6 hours (3) practice tranquility at timeless Natchiketa Taal (home of the gateway to the afterlife), in Gangotri National park, altitude 8057 feet, meet the baba who has been living here for decades now; Trip approximately 5 hours. (4) cure skin ailments by taking a long bath in the hot sulfur springs near Gangnani village, Trip approx 4 hours (5) thrill yourself at the misty Sat Taal lakes near Dharali. Trip approx 96 hours in good weather. We are also less than 100 meters from Shivananda Kuteer, a world renowned yoga college. If you are visiting someone at the yoga school, we are best suited to take excellent care of you. Getting AroundShared taxis between Uttarkashi & Maneri village will get you to within 100 meters of Anand Ganga. Once a day (passes around 11 am) there is a bus from Haridwar that goes via Netala/Anand Ganga, to Gangotri (reaches at 9 pm). We also help you book private taxis for any of your day trips or onward trips in Uttarakhand. We have most of the veggies from our farm only. Cottages, dining hall, and kitchen are all made up of eco friendly raw material available locally, made by unskilled laborers and myself. Cottage, dining hall, and kitchen walls are made up of mud, so they maintain the temperature. When it is cold outside, they keep cottages warm and vice versa unlike walls made up of cement. Beautiful village nearby. The villagers are very warm and welcoming. The expansive view of Greater Himalayan Peaks like Chaukhamba, Swargarohini, Gangotri Group, Kedarnath and many others. No noise at all. Away from main road. Only sounds you can hear are of Birds and Bees. Magnificent view of sky in night. Sunset and sunrise view right from outside cottages only. Mussoorie also called the Queen of the Hills is a favourite among travellers especially from Delhi and nearby areas. There is quite a bit to do in Mussoorie. One can visit Kempty falls, take a stroll on the Mall Road or the Camel back road. The place is filled with game centres, restaurants, and local shops. Chamba - About 16 km from Kanatal is the hamlet of Chamba, Uttarakhand. Chamba is untouched and untamed by the vices of urbanisation and commercialisation. About 1600 meters above the sea level, this place is more quite than Mussoorie and offers an opportunity to relax and rejuvenate. Cottage, dining hall, and kitchen walls are made up of mud, so they maintain the temperature. When it is cold outside, they keep cottages warm and vice versa unlike walls made up of cement.
