PURI NAGA TOYA
As the translated name suggests, the influence of feng shui shows in the villa's orientation. It is built on the ‘dragon's back', with hills behind the house and water in front – denoting the flow of health, well-being and prosperity for its residents. Its architecture overlays traditional Bali structures with a strong Chinoiserie theme. The interior design reveals the owners' passion for Asia and appreciation of Asian heritage, culture and art.
BALI'S BEST KEPT SECRET- THE CROWD
Puri Naga Toya is a well-composed work of art - and is centered on a half acre estate with beautiful views of the Batukaru Mountains ; surrounded by the traditional baroque gardens with all the 'accoutrements' of aristocratic life. For a real break, this is so much better than a hotel.
Its three pavilions are planned around natural geographical features and situated in a “tropical cloud forest” only found in these altitudes.
For those city dweller's, a few hours alone in such a serene environment, releases a week's worth of stress. Take time and swim in the refreshing spring-fed pool.
FENG SHUI PRINCIPLES
This luxury Ubud villa was built with inspiration from Tze. Strong emphasis was placed on the design complying with important feng shui principles. Feng shui is the ancient Chinese system of design that takes into account the four elemental energies and the relationship to a home in order to create harmony, wealth and tranquility.
In this Ubud villa you can see that all of these basic principles have been observed. Every day is paradise in fresh mountain air. You will enjoy spring water to drink, bath and swim in.
Functionality was not forgotten amid this heady artistic creation. According to the Chinese principles, water represents well being, so to have water slowly meandering through your Chinois gardens is symbolically akin to health and prosperity flowing into your holiday.
