Main bedroom is large with double bed, second bedroom is smaller with two singles. Please note second bedroom opens directly off the main bedroom. Guest AccessPlenty of off-road parking and small private garden, lots of walks over open fields and hills with footpaths passing the door. Interaction with GuestsWe live in the farmhouse nearby and are happy to help with anything you might need. We can also offer a good cooked breakfast for an extra charge. The NeighborhoodIt has the most stunning views and is surrounded by beautiful walks and not too far from beaches at Port Erin, Gansey and Port St Mary, just a 5-10 minute drive away. There is a bus stop and Colby steam railway station about a mile away, at the bottom of our road, along with a pub and convenience store. Some good eating places in Port St Mary and Port Erin. And excellent trails and plantations for mountain biking. Oh and there are 26 official Dark Sky designated sites if you like stargazing. Getting AroundProbably best to have a car but there is a bus stop about a mile down the road and also a station for the Isle of Man Steam Railway which runs to Douglas and Port Erin and stations in between. About ten minutes by car from the airport and half an hour from Douglas and Sea Terminal Other Things to NoteMay and June are probably the most beautiful times of year on the Isle of Man and also the times when we have lambs arriving, but there are lots of events, etc going on all the year round.

The NeighborhoodPort Erin is a beauty spot of the Isle of Man, a short walk to the beach and the traditional pubs of the village. With a bus stop outside you have great access to the rest of the island and visitors are only 15 minutes drive from the airport. Getting AroundA bus stop is located outside the B & B and the Isle of Man Steam Railway is 5 minutes down the road. Other Things to NoteWe are fully booked for TT 2015 and we will not be taking bookings for TT 2016 until after TT 2015.

The SpaceThe house is bright and spacious. There is space to comfortably sleep 6, with two double rooms, one room with single sized bunk beds and another single bed. There is a large sunny garden which is surrounded by a high fence for privacy. There is a gas BBQ which is available for use. We have a drive way for one car, garage space for up to 3 bikes and there is also on the road parking. Guest AccessWe want our guests to make themselves at home. For the duration of their stay the house is theirs to treat as their own Interaction with GuestsThe house will be empty, we will be away on holiday so the whole house is at the guests disposal. The NeighborhoodIt is a safe and friendly neighbourhood. We are located in the south of the Island only a few minutes from a number of pubs, restaurants and shops. During the TT there is a great atmosphere in Port Erin, with live music each night on a stage on the beach outside of The Bay (pub) and in various other pubs in the town. The TT course is a 15 minute drive from here, so access to the races is easy and convenient. Getting AroundThere is a bus stop just outside of the house and the main bus station is only a 5 minute walk away. The Steam Railway is also only a 5 minute walk from the house

        Welcome to your place by the sea. Standing in a pretty promenade of restored Victorian homes above Chapel Bay Beach in the lovely village of Port St Mary is Endfield House, a graded 5-star self-catering accomodation that is perfect for family or group holidays by the sea. It has three bedrooms, and sleeps 6 - 8, with a queen sleep sofa in the extra second floor lounge (recommended for two children or one adult). It has two new bathrooms with Travertine marble and superb fittings, plus a half bath on the main level. Endfield House is perfectly located near excellent restaurants, pubs and shopping, and efficient public transportation is a 2-minute walk away. So much to do! Eco tourism and amazing coastal walks begin at the front door, and boat tours to watch whales and basking sharks (gentle giants) are available from the marina beyond the beach. The Isle of Man is famous for its quaint cottages and incredible scenery in addition to its world-famous film industry locations and the exciting motor sports schedule, including the Isle of Man TT race, the Southern 100 and the Manx Grand Prix. One of the most challenging golf courses in the world is nearby at Langness, where one of the holes was named among the 18 toughest holes to play by Golf magazine. The Barn is ideal for singles, couples and families with up to 2 children who are able to share the sofa bed. Full details are:- Entrance hall with coat-stand and mirror and small unit with comprehensive visitor information leaflets/books/maps. Bathroom with bath and Mira shower over, large basin 2 drawer unit and WC. Living room with settee and chair, “Freesat" flat-screen wall-mounted TV, DVD player, Bluetooth Bose "sound-dock", tables and lamps. The adjoining kitchen has oven with grill, microwave with grill, electric induction hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer. There are numerous pots/pans/dishes and utensils. All appliances, cupboards and work surfaces are high quality. The bedroom has an attractive brass and ivory colour 5' Kingsize bed, top quality Egyptian cotton bedding, dressing table with mirror and hairdryer and fitted wardrobe with ample storage. The bedroom also includes a double sofa-bed. Floorings throughout (carpet and vinyl), soft furnishings, décor and artwork are high quality and tasteful. Within a short drive are several excellent pubs serving food and real ales as well as what is arguably the Island’s finest restaurant, located just over a mile away. There are many excellent walks and footpaths nearby, including the long-distance Millennium Way, which runs within 200 yards of the Barn. There are also excellent mountain bike trails in woodland within 3 miles. The Isle of Man has more officially designated “Dark Skies” sites then anywhere else in Europe. Getting AroundThere is one bus route passing the Barn linking Castletown and Peel but buses to Douglas are available in Ballasalla just 1.5 miles away where you can also catch the steam train! Taxis are readily available by telephone and will arrive at the Barn within a very short time. Car hire is easily arranged. Several local operators have desks at the airport, less than 3 miles away, and hire cars can be collected at Douglas harbour.         The SpaceThis is the old village school which closed in the late 1960s. There are still people living locally who sat through many a lesson in this place. This space gives simple shelter from a hard day of adventure in the glorious Manx sun (or a dry space after some of the purest rain on earth has caught you out - as often happens around here!). Guest AccessYou'll have access to whole building (which includes the old schoolroom, the shower-room/WC and kitchen). There is off road parking and the church next door provides an additional quiet space to read a book or listen to the radio. Interaction with GuestsNormally, I'll be around somewhere 'vicaring' in the parish. Unless you want me to call by - or need anything - you'll be left alone to enjoy this quiet corner of the Isle of Man Getting AroundParking is available on site. The Airport is under 4 miles away (although the bus stops at Ballasalla (around 2.5 miles away). There is a railway station in Ballasalla. Other Things to NoteThe building was recently reopened after it was feared that we would need to sell the space. Since October 2014 we have made sure the place is watertight, given the inside a coat of paint, carried out basic maintenance, installed a gas fired boiler (the first ever here!) to give hot water and heating to the kitchen and shower-room and refitted the shower-room. Over the summer of 2015 our work continued and extended the heating system into the main hall (replacing the old electric wall heaters), repaired some of the external joinery and started to give the outside a coat of paint (although the winter weather of 2015 arrived early and we had to put finishing this on hold until the spring arrive in 2016). We're in the early days of clearing the former boys’ playground to create a garden area and are thinking about how we might turn the old boys’ & girls’ toilet block into an art space and storage block.

          Glen Chass Farmhouse is a beautiful 3 bedroom house that sleeps up to 6 people in a magnificent setting. It is rated 4 Star by the Tourism Board. You can see some of the best coastal and sea views in Britain from your windows and have one of the best walks in the world, The Road of the Gull (Raad Ny Foillan) on your doorstep. Watch rare birds and if you are very lucky you might see basking sharks, harbour porpoise, Risso's dolphins or Minke whales in the bay below the house. The Isle of Man is famous for it's motorbike racing, the TT, The Grand Prix and The Southern 100. Glen Chass Farmhouse is situated in a small, quiet hamlet in Glen Chass, high above Port St Mary. 'Glen Chass' can be translated from the Manx as 'The warm glen' or 'The glen of the long grasses'. It is a short drive or walk down to Port St Mary a delightful coastal harbour village where there are shops and several charming cafes and pubs. The Patchwork Cafe sources local ingredients and makes it own bread and cakes. The Fish House serves local-caught delicacies such as fresh crab, lobster, queens and scallops from the carefully managed local coastal waters. A visit to the local pub, The Albert, to sample to local ales, should be an essential part of your visit.

The property has been renovated throughout to extremely high standards. A sun lounge has been created with a corner window which takes advantage of the magnificent view. Come and watch the sea and marvel at the sunsets!                       The SpaceWe have converted a stone barn on our farm into two holiday cottages, Shearwater and our other listing, Puffin. Each has an open plan kitchen, dining and sitting area. Shearwater is slightly smaller than Puffin and the bathroom has a shower but no bath. Shearwater sleeps four, in a double bed in the main bedroom and two singles in the small bedroom which opens directly off the main bedroom. Guest AccessWe have just launched Shearwater cottage, from the end of May, as a holiday property to run alongside our other, now well-established, cottage, Puffin. For this reason we are offering a special, introductory deal for anyone booking 3 or more nights in Shearwater. We are also happy for guests to bring a single, well-behaved dog with them when they come to stay in Shearwater. Although part of the same converted barn as Puffin, Shearwater is completely self contained with its own entrance. It has a small seating area of its own outside and a small garden which is shared with the other cottage. There is also a shared laundry room and parking for two cars. Guests are also welcome to use the front lawn of our farmhouse. We have lots of walking books and maps for guests to borrow and we are happy to advise on places and anything else to help them get the most out of their stay Getting AroundThere is a bus stop about a mile down the road where you can get a bus to Port Erin, Port St Mary, Castletown (and the airport) and Douglas. A little further on is the steam railway station which operates during the season. We are about 15 minutes' drive from the airport and half an hour from the Sea Terminal.                       Beautiful coastal cottage with stunning uninterrupted views of sea and hills. Large seaside garden with beach access (great for surfing!) and beautiful coastal walks. House has large garage with plenty of space for bikes, kayaks etc. Ideally situated 8 mins from airport, bistro pub etc, with plenty of cultural, eating and shopping facilities within 2 miles. If you're looking for 5* luxury, this is probably not the place for you, but if you want a little piece of heaven, it definitely is!

                              The SpaceMarina House was built as a seaside guest house in 1893. During World War II it was home to internees. After the war it continued as a guest house until Liverpool University bought it for student accommodation for Port Erin Marine Laboratory students. Once the Marine Lab had closed the building was derelict until we bought it. After 6 years of renovation we have a lovely home, with enough space for guests. The guest accommodation is in the attic space. There is limited head room in some parts. Guest AccessThe guest accommodation comprises the whole top floor of the building. Access is via 3 flights of stairs. The ground floor is taken by the Dive Centre. Access to the accommodation is via the door at the side of the building (in Gellings Avenue) Interaction with GuestsPlease ask any of the family for assistance during your stay. We are happy to help with transport or recommendations for where to eat and things to do. The NeighborhoodPort St Mary was originally a fishing village. The upper part of the village is due to Victorian development and included a number of shops and guest houses. The history of the village can be explored in a walking heritage trail. Today the tall and grand Victorian buildings that make up Bay View Road and the Promenade are all in good condition. The small shopping area has a number of lovely places to eat. Getting AroundShort term parking on the street. Long term parking in nearby carpark. Bus route passes the front of the building. Steam railway is 5 minutes walk away. Other Things to NoteWe have a small very friendly dog called Tilly. She loves to play ball - and once you start she won't let you stop. Feel free to borrow her for a walk if you like. The accommodation is on the top floor. There is limited head room and beams in some spaces. Please take care.
