The SpaceOur villa is artistically designed, fully equipped, furnished and air conditioned, and it comfortably fits up to 7 adults and 5 kids (on mattresses).
It features a spacious living room / kitchen hall, which has a fireplace, a home cinema system, local TV, some sofas (that opens to extra beds), and a pouffe (a huge cushion).
The modern kitchen is fully equipped with all the kitchen appliances (dish washer, gas stove, cooking oven, electric kettle, coffee maker, juicer, toaster etc.) and a table for 4 persons (extends to 8).
The villa has 2 romantic bedrooms, 2 toilets (1 on the master bedroom and 1 main bathroom), a cozy shower, and WiFi connection.
Around the villa there are beautiful fruit trees, flowers and a spice herbs garden, with some sitting and relaxation areas, and a table for 10.
In the back yard there is some lawn and a bathing pool surrounded by a fence (with a locked gate to keep the kids safe).
It is indeed a great place for unique relaxation and tranquility, for writing and painting, for a family vacation, pilgrim excursion, and as a home base for traveling in the beautiful north of Israel. Guest AccessBehind the villa there is a storage room that is off limits. Interaction with GuestsWe live in Tel-Aviv so we might not meet face to face, and the keys will be handed over by our friends who live nearby.
Nevertheless, we are available by phone and would love to help you get the most out of your stay and provide information, tips and recommendation. The NeighborhoodThe neighborhood is a newly built villas section, connected to the traditional Jewish village of Kfar Shamai, and surrounded by landscapes and woods.
In Kfar Shamai there is a groceries store (open 8:30 > 14, 16>20:30), a synagogue ("Sepharadi"), a "Mikveh" (Jewish ritual bath) and a basketball court. Getting AroundKfar Shamai is about a 10 minutes drive from the modern shopping plaza of Karmiel on one direction (south), and from the famous Kabbalah town of Safed on the other direction (North). The tomb of the "Rashbi" (the famous Kabbalah Rabbi) is in the next village called Meiron, and is open for visits 24/7 - free admission. Driving down to the Sea of Galilee takes about 15 minutes, and to the University of Haifa it's about 1 hour (yet there's hardly any traffic...).
Around the Sea of Galilee there are many beautiful pilgrim and Biblical sites to travel to, all about a 20 minutes drive from the villa (among which are: the Banias stream, Capernaum, Tabha, The Mount of Beatitudes and many others).
We recommend renting a car to get around since buses are not frequent, but for the younger ones, at the entrance to Kfar Shamai there is a bus station from which you can get to Tel-Aviv (line 846 in the mornings), Karmiel (line 501) and Safed (same lines). Other Things to NoteWe rent our villa for a minimum stay of 2 nights (though exceptions might be considered), and give a weekly and monthly special fairs.
We will be happy to host you and help you get the most out of your time in Israel !
