Our property was formally an Art Gallery 30 years ago as our guests will first notice the unique architecture that include Safed (Tzfat) Stoned Arches around the windows, room entry, and marble arch in the small bedroom.
We are centrally located on ancient and picturesque mountaintop (Old City of Safed (Tzfat - Artist Quarter) that is known as the center of Kabbalah Jewish mysticism, and hosts each summer the annual The International Klezmer Music Festival.
Our Charming Old City Safed (Tzfat) Stone Home is very well maintained and is equipped with everything you need to make your stay as pleasant as possible, such as air-conditioning and Free WIFi.
Our guests will have full access to all rooms and use of the kitchen, bathroom, living area, and balcony.
The property features two double beds, single bed, two sofa beds (pulls out into two beds), two dinning tables, Shabbat warmer, kettle, urn for hot water, refrigerator, microwave, stove, plates, flatware, and plenty of comfort.
We have improved the apartment based on customer feedback as recently as September 2016. All rooms have been repainted, outside light fixed, added new sofa bed, and balcony renovated for guest access so our guests will make "Our Home Away From Home."
The apartment is (60m2). It has a spacious living room with FULL KITCHEN, TWO SEPARATE BEDROOMS (not connected, ideal for couples who enjoy their privacy), bathroom (toilet, sink, and combo Bathtub/Shower), balcony, and shared patio.
The LIVING/DINNING ROOM has a sofa bed (80 cm x190 cm) and dinning table. The kitchen is fully equipped with a stove, an oven, fridge/freezer, espresso machine, toaster, drinking glasses, coffee mugs, pots,pans, flatware plates and everything else you need to cook an amazing meal!
BOTH BEDROOMS have comfortable large double beds (160 cm x 200 cm) beds.
The MOUNTAIN VIEW BEDROOM also has a sofa bed (80 cm x 190 cm) that pulls out into two beds.
We have plenty of extra sheets, blankets, towels, and pillows available. For families traveling with a baby, there is a fold up wooden crib (95 cm x 83 cm) available for two infants as well.
The bathroom has a combo shower/bath and sink. Towels are included and there is a separate toilet. An iron are also available.
We don’t have a washing machine, but just nearby on Jerusalem Street is a Safed Village Laundry where you can drop off your clothes and have them take care of everything that (includes folding).
There is a small balcony (5 m2). The balcony is facing south east meaning you see some amazing sunsets setting over Mount Meron.
A VIP Full Breakfast option is available at a top rated restaurant that is located above our property with spectacular and stunning views of the Mountains and Old City of Safed. Please refer to the photos in the listing for some examples of the breakfast.
Guests will be provided a VIP Breakfast Voucher For NIS 50/person, consisting of:

MOUNTAIN VIEW BEDROOM
Our remarkable main bedroom features one double bed (160 cm x 200 cm) and one sofa bed that pulls out into two beds (80 cm x 190 cm). There is also a dinning table to enjoy your meals with unbelievable views overlooking the Art Galleries and picturesque mountains in the Old City of Safed (Tzfat)
For families traveling with a baby, there is a fold up wooden crib (95 cm x 83 cm) available for two infants as well.
ARTIST'S QUARTER BEDROOM
Our Small Bedroom features the comfort of one double bed (160 cm x 200 cm) and one extra single bed (76 cm x 185 cm) with a feel of living inside an Artist sleeping quarter in the Old City of Safed (Tzfat). There is also a recently restored balcony (5 m2) where guests to relax under the shaded trees after a long hike visiting touristic attractions, ancient landmarks, historic and religious sites.
Each room is professionally cleaned.
Our Property is centrally located in the Old City of Safed (Tzfat) in the Artist Quarter and only a stone throw away (3-7 min walk) to most of the major shops, cafe's, restaurants, and ancient sites.
We are within a minutes walk from the Safed (Tzfat) Central Bus Station.
There are not many homes left that are located in the heart of the Artists Quarter. What makes our home unique is the property located within walking distance of the Art Galleries and General expedition on Arlozorov and Tet Vav Streets, Ancient Religious Sites, Historic Landmarks, Museums, Various Restaurants, Wineries, and Mini- Marts/Supermarkets.
We are about a (7-10minute) walk from the Safed (Tzfat) Central Bus Station that offers transportation through out Safed (Tzfat) and Northern Israel.
Taxi Services are offered as well. You can also contact a local Taxi with the GETT Taxi Mobile App.
All buses leave from the Safed (Tzfat) Central Bus station that provides bus service to most major cities within Israel.
Safed is also easy accessible by major highways throughout Central and Northern Israel.

The guidebook contains all the essential information about our home, as well as recommendations all over the city. It's easy to navigate, and if you are out and about, you can access it from your phone.
Our rental is most suitable for one couple, families, singles, group of friends, or anyone who is looking for a weekend getaway.
We include a special service where every guest will be personally greeted upon arrival in Safed (Tzfat).
Providing the entire house to our guests offers them security, privacy, and comfort.
We are friendly and very happy to assist our guests with any questions and are very knowledgeable about top things to see and do in Safed (Tzfat) and in the Upper Galilee area.
We speak both English and Hebrew.
All Buses leave from the central bus station makes getting around very easy. Be prepared for some uphill walking though remember you are on a mountain!

There is public and private parking on Arlozorov and Tet-Vav streets in front of the Art Galleries and near the General Exhibition. There is also parking in front of The Yehezkel Hameiri Viewpoint and the Hameiri Dairy on Keren Ha-Yesod Street. Guest AccessGuests will have access to all rooms and use of kitchen, bathroom, balcony, and living areas.
Nothing has to be shared with other guests, since you will have the entire apartment all to yourselves.
Even through the court yard is shared, the apartment has it's own entrance.
Free wireless internet will be provided to all of our guests. Interaction with GuestsSomeone will be in charge to give you the keys and collect keys from guests.
We are only a phone call away if our guest have any issue with flat during their stay.

We will be communicating with you on a regular basis to make sure everything goes smoothly. The NeighborhoodOur Guest House is located within the Artist Quarter - Old City Safed and is centrally located. People are very friendly, helpful, and most speak English.
Both the “Artist’s Quarter (Artists Colony) and Jewish Quarter (Synagogue Quarter) are arguably the most interesting neighborhoods in the Old City and the apartment is located in the best location. Although it features a number of tourist highlights (such as the General Exhibition, Artists Row, The International Center for Tzfat Kabbalah, Tzfat Underground Tunnels, Tzfat Cheese Factory, and Abouhav Winery) has kept its local historical feel. You’ll find a number of cafes, take out and sit-in restaurants, art shops, Judaica shops, Ancient Synagogues, and Mikvas within a few minutes walk. Old City Safed also has an amazing park in Old City Safed, The Safed Citadel Park or Tzfat “Metzuda” that features Crusader ruins and spectacular views of the Old City.
Old City Safed offers one supermarket and one mini-mart that are within 2-5 minutes, two banks within a 3-7 min walk, and many places to eat 2-5 min, art gallery 3 min, medical clinic 3 min, central bus station 10 min, and many Ancient synagogues 3-10 min depending on which one you choose.
If you are hungry there are several places to eat that is within walking distance such as, HaAri 8, The Art Cafe, Bagdad Cafe, Cafe Monitin, Falafel California, Asian Chinese Cuisine and Sushi, 5 Shekel Coffee, Cofix, Schnitzeliya, Tree of Life, Yemenite Lachunch, and much more. We highly recommend a trip to the Yashfe Winery (all natural wines with no additives) and Abouhav Winery 5-7 min Tzfat Cheese factory 7 min, 16th Century Old City Safed Underground Tunnels (Under The Visitor Center in the Jewish Quarter) 6-8 min, Abouhav ancient Synagogue, and the Citadel Park (Overlooking Safed on the top of a hill) 10-15 min.
Guests can visit a local art gallery to create their own glass art.

To get to the apartment from the Airport you can either take a train to the Tel Aviv HaHagana Railway Station, then walk to the Tel Aviv Central Bus Station and take bus 845 to Rosh Pina, and take a taxi or bus 511. (58 NIS, 2.5 - 3 hours) or take a train to Akko and take bus 361 (86 NIS, 3 hours).
Please note: buses and trains end service early before the start of Shabbat and Religious Holidays.
**The property is not suitable for those that are physically impaired, since Old City Safed is located on a mountain that requires walking up stairs throughout the Old City and some tourist attractions.**
