The SpaceThis large "open-space" flat belongs to a villa complex, on the Pilgrims's Way amongst vineyards, not far from the town of Nus and in front of the Castle of Fenis. At 600 metres above sea level, surrounded by mountains, this recently built, sunny, independent flat is cool during the Summer and warm in the Winter, ideal for its position for trekking and skiing practically ALL year! Quiet, reserved, ideal for both young and senior, plus physically disabled guests, with closed adjacient garage and a small terrace with chairs for sunbathing! There are plenty of nearby pizzeria and restaurants. The "Roman" City of Aosta, at 15 chilometres, is served by train or bus. The Swiss and French borders are an hours distance as well as Turin. We don't have mosquito to awake you as the climate is dry Alpine, cool and sunny! During the Winter, the position is ideal for all the skiing stations in the Valle. Pila is the nearest, then Cervinia connection, La Thuile, Courmayeur, Ayas, Gressoney, Champorcher, Torgnon and Chamois. The roads are immediately cleared of ice and snow. Other sports apart from mountain climbing are mountain biking and rafting. Aosta, is a "Roman" City with pleasant walks in the centre amongst the ruins. We can give you ALL the information you require for an excellent and surprising stay. We have plenty of positive experience as we have rented (another house) for the last four years. Snow-chains required on board from 15th.October until the 15th.April in the Region! La pista ciclabile, il parco vicino al castello di Fenis e lo stesso castello sono raggiungibili anche a piedi in pochi minuti. Other Things to NoteRiscaldamento indipendente a pavimento ( circa 21°C) durante l'inverno. L'estate è calda e asciutta, la stanza rimane fresca. Niente zanzare. A pochi minuti anche a piedi vi sono negozi di alimentari, banche, farmacia, stazione ferroviaria e bus. Centri commerciali a 15 minuti d'auto. La Valle d'Aosta è una Regione bilingue Italiano/francese. Nella vallata di Gressoney si parla anche tedesco.

The SpaceA WONDERFUL CROSS-COUNTRY SKIING AND SNOWRAKETS IN A NATURAL ENVIRONMENT.SUMMER WALKING PATHS CLOSE TO HOME The house is in the village called Venoz ( which is part of the town of NUS) at 1800 mt of altitude. The village consists of about 20 houses from the XVIII century carefully restaured with typical materials from the valley . Our home was built in 1993, according to the tradition and with local materials. The closest village with facilities is NUS, 16 km from Venoz and 11 Km from the city of Aosta, which is the main town of the valley, with 50.000 inhabitants. In Aosta you can find all you need: train station, buses that connect the main town with the valleys around it, shopping center, a nice pedestrian area with shops, bars, restaurants and historical monuments, dating back to the Roman Age. In the village of Venoz there aren’t shops, but in Lignan, the village 1 km below Venoz, where there is the observatory, there is a restaurant, family run, and a tiny shop where you can find food (essential). Nus, 16 Km from Venoz, has food stores, baker’s, pharmacy, post office, bank, and so on… We strongly recommend you to get all your grocery and food supply in Nus! The most convenient airports are in Milano Malpensa and Turin. From the airport you can rent a car. The valley of Saint Bartlemy is situated in the centre of Valle d’Aosta and it is easy to reach the Monte Bianco, Monte Rosa, Gran Paradiso, Cervino. From our home you are close to many trails to walk up to 2600 mt, where there is the oratory of Cuney. Internet: we can provide an internet key with 40 hours of connection per week and costs 9€. You can borrow our small netbook. This is the house we use for our leisure time, so it has our books, objects and so on and has all facilities like washing machine, oven, dishwasher, gpl heating system (NOT centralized), color tv, HiFi, furniture, rugs, sheets, blankets, towels etc. The apartment : on the ground floor there is a large kitchen and sitting room, a bathroom with shower and two bedrooms with single beds. Upstairs there is an attic room where there is a double bed (french size _ 140 cm). In one of the two bedrooms there will be stored our personal items. There is a balcony facing south with a beautiful view of the Mount Emilius. We will give you a closet and a dresser for your use. In any case, you can count on the presence of one of our family's member who will gladly provide all the guidelines and suggestions to make your stay perfect. The NeighborhoodNus is an ancient village which in recent years is experiencing a renewed life, visible in the increase of restored structures and services. Downtown you will find restaurants and bars, a famous farmhouse "La Maison Rosset ", a place to taste the most traditional Valdostan dishes in a friendly environment. Slightly on the hill, but reachable on foot, you can spend a pleasant evening at Zaza's pub. The multiaward-winning Buzzi pastry shop will offer you unforgettable breakfasts or snacks and excellent homemade ice cream. The playground in the center also offers a basketball and football court. For a picnic in nature we advise the Tsanté de Bouva park in Fénis, close to Nus, reachable on foot or by bike, a large park where you can play and sunbath near a lovely castle. Getting AroundThe house is in the center of a village equipped with all the essential services: small supermarket, pharmacy, bar, bakery. The bus and train stops are located about 200 m away. There are some interesting hiking routes passing through the town, such as the Via Francigena, paths that go along the valley of Saint-Barthelemy and exciting cycling routes; a beautiful bike path leads on one side to Saint-Vincent and the other to Aosta. The village of Fénis with its famous castle is within walking distance. Aosta is 13 km away, Saint-Vincent 15 km.

    The SpaceIt's a small house but you can find everything you need for a confortable holidays. It has a big room, composed by a living room - with a sofa which become a double bed, a wood stove, a tv - and the dining room, with the kitchen - with all the stuff for cooking - and a big table. Then there's a bedroom, with one double bed, a big wardrobe and an eletric stove. Finally you can find a small bathroom, with a hairdryer and all towels. There's also a small cellar, which is a deposit. You can find deckchairs for enjoying the sun, two rackets for playing Badminton and a telescope for enjoying the stars! Being a little peaceful village, you can find only during high season a shop - in Lignan, a village 5 minutes by car far from the house. It's everyday open in high winter and summer season, during all the year it's open on wednesday and saturday ( from 8.30 to 11.30) For every kind of service and things to buy, you have to go to Nus, the big village from where the Saint-Barthelemy Valley begins - 20 minutes by car. Anyway, I always provide to my guest the pantry full of every kind of food. Guest AccessThere's a big garden in which you can relax, enjoying the view and the sun. You'll find there some deckchairs for enjoying the sun, and a big table if you want to have lunch outside. Interaction with GuestsI'll provide guests every kind of paper for having lots of informations about everything - maps, local food, hiking, babies activities, every kind of exhibitions - and during the stay I can give lots of advises for enjoing the best this beautiful country. For the check-in, we will discuss - considering your need and my freetime, looking for providing the best solution for you! During winter season I'll always try to find the best way for the guests, but because of my work it will be probably in the afternoon. The NeighborhoodThere's a wonderful place for people who loves mountains. Here you can find absolutly peace and relax. Then it's a great place for hiking too, here you can find every kind of paths - difficult or easier for also family with babies. There are so many hiking solutions there. During winter, it's a special location for having fun in the snow : there's a big ski resort for cross-country skiing, walking with snowshoes and having fun in the snowpark for babies. There's a famous observatory there, where you can go for discover stars secret with organised tour, theme party or on your own. You can find some restaurant where enjoy the local food - i can give lots of advises for finding good location. Getting AroundThere's a bus stop in Lignan, a village 5 minutes far from the home by car, but 20 minutes on foot. It's possible to find taci service - but I can provide to bring the guests home.

Notre maison a été construite en 1993, selon la tradition et avec des matériaux locaux. De notre maison, vous êtes à proximité de nombreux sentiers pour marcher jusqu'à 2600 m, où il y a l'Oratoire de Cuney. Internet : nous pouvons fournir une clé internet. Il s'agit de la maison que nous utilisons pour nos loisirs, donc il a nos livres, objets et ainsi de suite et a tous les équipements comme la machine à laver, four, lave-vaisselle, gpl, chauffage (non centralisée), tv couleur, HiFi, meubles, tapis, draps, couvertures, serviettes, etc.. L'appartement : au rez de chaussée, il y a une grande cuisine et salon, une salle de bains avec douche et deux chambres avec lits simples. Il y a l'étage une chambre sous les toits où il y a un lit double (français Taille 140 cm). Dans l'une des deux chambres, il y aura conservé nos effets personnels. Il y a un balcon orienté plein sud avec une vue magnifique sur le Mont Emilius. Nous vous donnerons un placard et une commode pour votre usage. L'endroit est très calme, il contribue à la détente et la méditation.
