The SpaceOur guesthouse has several guestrooms (3 stories, no elevator) and we offer you one of them on the 3rd floor. They all are completely private rooms; facilities such as bathroom and toilet are shared by you guests and tenants. This building itself is old but its facilities are updated and it has been always kept clean. We pass the keys (the entrance & the guestroom) on your check-in.
This listing comfortably fits 1 person and also contains futon sets, an air-conditioner, closets & hangers, a folding table and tourism brochures of Nagoya. In case of 2 guests, since there is no extra space, you might feel it a little small. But there are 2 closets, and so you can put your luggage with less effort.
The entrance is auto-locked, in other words, it has the automatically locking door; you need to carry its key whenever you go out.
Last but definitely not least, you can see the samurai armour! Moreover you can try it on if you want! Guest Access•SHARED FACILITIES -free of charge-

Besides, we have various kinds of tea and many sorts of perfume, which are all free but just available. Interaction with GuestsWhenever needed. All tenants are friendly, and some people can speak English. The owner lives nearby.
However, since all guestrooms are completely independent, there might not be so many chances unless you want. Conversely, you will have enough privacy. The NeighborhoodThis is peaceful residential area in spite of the neighbor town of Nagoya. It remains its old-style and rural views after World War II.
There are 3 convenience stores in 2 minutes by walk; there are not so good restaurants around here. We recommend to have a meal in or around Nagoya station. You can eat Japanese dishes, Nagoya specialities, and whatever you like! Getting AroundYou will come and go between Nagoya station and our place in the below ways: subway, bus or walk.
•The nearest subway station:
10 minutes' walk
(Sakura-dori Line, red subway)
This is next to Nagoya station.
•The nearest bus stop:

Two bus lines running on the street and bound for both Nagoya station and Sakae (downtown Nagoya).
•The nearest terminal:
20-30 minutes' walk
The above subway and buses are also available.
•From Chubu international airport
Between the airport and Nagoya station you will take a Meitetsu train for 870 yen around 50 minutes (around 2 hours to our place including the immigration and so on). Other Things to Note•ROOM SIZE
If you are 2 people, this guestroom might be a little small to you because it comfortably fits 1 person. Please confirm its size on photos beforehand.
The structure of our guesthouse is old-style and there could be a few issues that aren't pleasant to you.
For instance, every wall between the rooms is relatively thin. Once in a while, you could hear other guests chatting loudly. Thanks in advance for your understanding.
