    There are twelve tents on site on the edge of the forest, allowing for views of the surrounding savannah. They are spaced out so as to allow for the most private and relaxing holiday. The tents are made out of canvas and natural materials, and furnished with solely handmade fixtures – no cement was used in their construction so as to minimize any impact on the environment. Each tent has its own private veranda as well as large en-suite bathrooms. The bathrooms are equipped with hot showers and flush toilets, and you are provided with shampoo, soaps, and conditioner that are both high quality and eco-friendly. The verandas have a sitting area, lounger and hammock. The tents have the option to hold king sized, twin or triple beds, and there is a dresser with a full-length mirror.

    Each guest tent is a private unit complete with shady veranda, his and hers wash basins, en suite bathroom with flush toilet and safari shower, filled daily with hot water on request. The tents nestle amongst a riverine forest and are spaced so that each has a unique view of the surrounding bush and wildlife. The tents are furnished with solid, comfortable furniture so that you have the ultimate in camping-luxury to come back to after exciting game drives.A secondary camp located within the immediate vicinity of the glamping lodge is made up of two spacious suites which are uniquely designed to blend in effortlessly with the surrounding riverine forest. Each tent contains 2 double or twin rooms both en-suite with their own spacious bathrooms, inter-joined by a communal lounge and dining area. A dedicated team of staff caters to your every need. Both of these stunning tents have their own private bar and fire places set up strategically along the Talek River with complete privacy and spectacular views. This camp can be booked and used as an exclusive private arrangement, or used in conjunction with the main glamping site and its facilities.Finally, 3 luxurious double tents are also located at this glamping site. Each tent contains its own en suite bathroom, king sized bed and is delicately furnished. There is a dedicated team of staff who will attend to your every need at Naibor Wilderness. There is a private mess tent with light, soft furnishings and spectacular views and a vehicle that will seat 6 people is available.There are no electric outlets in the tents. The site runs purely off solar power at Naibor. If you wish to charge anything, you can do so from the managers office. There are running taps at the secondary camp, while the other tents all have jugs of water. All of the tents feature bucket showers.

    This small luxury camp has 14 spacious tents. Each tent has floor to ceiling mosquito netting, en-suite bathrooms, solar lighting and large, river view verandas. The main dining room and veranda commands a dramatic view of the Mara River providing the perfect setting for breakfast, afternoon tea and after dinner star gazing. There is a swimming pool, a mini-spa and a small gift shop. Solar power supplies 240v electricity and there is a back-up generator.

      This site is made up of 30 tents that are spread out through the property. Because they are facing the river, you will have consistently amazing views from your private veranda. There are tea and coffee makers for your use. The tents are spacious, measuring 26m2. The sides of the tents can open, making your accommodation feel large and airy. You can choose to have a queen size bed or two twin beds. The tents are newly renovated, with interiors furnished in the classical African Safari style, with large poster beds. The en-suite bathroom has running water with a shower, flush toilets and sink. You will be provided with mineral water as well as insect repellent upon your arrival at the tent.

          The SpaceThis camp is really attractive, well done and operates off-the-grid and relies on a custom built solar system for its power. Room fabrics are handwoven African designs, and the camp's furniture and decor were designed and built by artisans in Arusha. Designed to be lightweight enough to move seasonally, is located in the Ndutu area from December through March. The camp relocates to Central Serengeti from May through November. From December through March, the wildebeest migration moves in and out of the Ndutu area. Ndutu is located in Ngorongoro Conservation Area, just south of Serengeti National Park. Thanks to the fantastic location easy access is possible to prime game viewing areas around Lakes Ndutu and Masek. In addition to the almost two million wildebeest and zebra that move through the area each year, Ndutu is home to cheetah, lion, giraffe and hundreds of bird species. During February's calving season, the wildebeest give birth to 8,000 babies a day. From May through November, the Camp relocates to Seronera in the Central Serengeti. Seronera, located in the heart of Serengeti National Park, offers year-round game viewing and is thought to be one of the best places in Africa to spot large cats. From Seronera it is easy to access others areas of the Serengeti such as the Grumeti River ecosystem, Retina Hippo Pool, Moru Kopjes and Lobo. Expect it to take around 3-4 hours to get to Mara Explorers and do not take it all the way to Sekenani as we are 3.8km before, ask the driver to drop you off at the main road opposite AA Lodge, 300mtrs from camp. We recommend you keep the phone number of the camp with you at all times incase of any problems. If you plan to use public transport please be aware the return vehicles leave Sekenani to Narok early, be prepared to leave around 6am. We can also arrange afternoon tea, bush meals and camping trips to stay inside the Maasai Mara National Reserve. Getting AroundBY PRE ARRANGED CAMP TRANSFER: KES 12,000 each way between Nairobi and our camp. Transfer vehicles are licensed to carry up to 4 guests each. BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT: Take a Narok Line matatu from Nyamakima in Nairobi CBD early (approx 7am) to Narok which should cost approx. KES 400 and arrive in around 2-3 hours. Once in Narok walk 5mins or catch a boda-boda to the central bus station (opposite Naivas supermarket) anyone you ask will direct you. Once there book a seat in a shared taxi to Sekenani, it should cost approx. KES 500 and depart Narok around lunchtime. Expect it to take around 3-4 hours to get to Mara Explorers and do not take it all the way to Sekenani as we are 3.8km before, ask the driver to drop you off at the main road opposite AA Lodge, 300mtrs from camp. We recommend you keep the phone number of the camp with you at all times incase of any problems. If you plan to use public transport please be aware the return vehicles leave Sekenani to Narok early, be prepared to leave around 6am. Also on Sundays public transport between Maasai Mara and Narok is unreliable. BY AIR: It’s possible to fly into our nearest airstrips Keekorok (inside the reserve) or Siana (outside the reserve) with Safarilink or AirKenya and we can organise you transfers and gamedrives from here. BY ROAD: If you’re self-driving and have GPS our co-ordinates are as follows; DMS: Latitude S (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN)″ Longitude E (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN)″ DD Latitude -(PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN) Longitude (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN) DIRECTIONS FROM NAIROBI: -From Nairobi you should join the new Southern bypass heading in the direction of Kikuyu. -When you have passed through Kikuyu town you need to branch left and join the highway heading towards Limuru and the Rift Valley. -Pass by several service stations on the left -Look out for 15% off at Bata ahead signboard on left. -Branch left off the highway straight after the Concord service station by a large 15% off at Bata signboard. -Turn left onto B3 -Follow B3 road down the Rift Valley Escarpment to Mai Mahiu for approx 17km -In Mai Mahiu township turn left to stay on B3 -Follow B3 to Narok for approx 87km -Continue through Narok -Pass by Kenol Petrol Station on the left (has toilets, small shop and restaurant) -Turn left onto C12 -After check point barrier turn left to stay on C12 tarmac road -After approximately 20km the tarmac turns into very rough road, do not deviate from this road -After approximately 60km you will see a large sign appearing on the right hand side for Maasai Mara University and also for AA Lodge. Slow down as our entry is just before them on the opposite side of the road. You will see our small green sign saying Mara Explorers Camp on the left hand side. -If you arrive at Sekenani gate you have missed us. Turn around and come back approx. 3.8km looking for us on the right hand side! -Total: Approx 220km, 5 hours depending on the current road conditions from Narok to Sekenani. Other Things to NoteIf you do not have your own transport we can arrange taxi transfers to camp, from Nairobi the cost is KES 12,000 each way and the journey time approximately 5-6 hours. We are also accessible via public transport, for full details please contact us. At camp we have 4x4 Landcruisers available for gamedrives which cost KES 15,000 per day inclusive of driver/guide their park entry and fuel.
