The SpaceMy husband and I rent out a beautiful room for 2 in Eschen, Liechtenstein (king size waterbed, adjacent private bathroom with large shower). We provide breakfast, but there is also a bakery with a nice café near our house if you prefer. You are welcome to relax in our garden, from where you enjoy a beautiful view of the Liechtenstein mountains. We are located in the center of Eschen. Free parking right in front of the house from where you also enter your room. There is a bus stop in just two-minutes walking-distance (LIE has a very uncomplicated and efficient bus system). A supermarket is just around the corner. We speak German, English, Spanish, and after one or two glasses of wine quite acceptable French ;). We, too, love to travel. As native Liechtensteiners it is our pleasure to help our guests with information about the country and things to do. You are going to visit Liechtenstein for business purposes? Our room might also just be the right accommodation for you! All the attractions in and around LIE are easy to be reached from our house; by bus, by bike, or on foot even, or by car. Liechtenstein has a lot to offer which is not to be missed: spectacular mountains and leisurely trails for hiking and walking, loads of biking routes of all levels of difficulty, outdoor and indoor swimming centres as well as a stunning swimming lake, golfe courses with great views – well, they are in Switzerland, but nonetheless noteworthy ;) – impressing architecture, a unique castle which you can’t visit but offers the perfect picture motive, cool museums – to name just a view of the highlights. In the warmer months of the year, the Liechtensteiners are encountered outside – cafés, restaurants and bars offer lovely terraces and gardens to chill, chat, meet, and treat yourself with delightful food, ice cream, a cold Liechtensteiner Brauhaus beer or anything you like. Let me just mention some of our very popular events, which you might even have heard of. On the 15th of August, we celebrate the so-called Fürstenfest, our national day. All of us – and I really mean ALL of us – and a huge bunch of people from our neighbouring countries swarm out to the Vaduzer Städtle, where we eat, drink, dance, meet, and laugh at usually warm temperatures until the early morning hours. Another, meanwhile popular and mentionable event is the life festival in Schaan in early July. A visit at the two-days lasting music festival with international and local stars and bands is well worth it. (URL HIDDEN) I also would like to add the Filmfest to this short overview, where around 20 films of different genres and interests are shown. (URL HIDDEN) Liechtenstein is one of the smallest countries, and situated in midst of spectacular mountains in the heart of Europe. It borders to Austria and Switzerland. The little town Feldkirch in Austria with its lovely historic centre is basically just around the corner, and a popular destination for going out on a warm summer evening or for shopping on Saturday mornings, when they hold a market. Werdenberg in Switzerland on the other side of the river Rhein has an even older historic neighboorhood with a little lake and the neat café "Galerie am See" with an almost kitschy view. Towns like St. Gall and Chur (CH) or Dornbirn and Bregenz (A) or the popluar Austrian mountain and ski resorts Arlberg and Montafon as well as Lake Constance (CH/A/D) are just a stone’s throw away (around 60 km). The Swiss metropolis Zurich is around 110 km from Liechtenstein.
