My manager Lingson is available though at any time where you'd need help or advice.
Lingson is the most supportive person you could imagine. The NeighborhoodNdilindi Moyo is located in the centre of the tourist part of Cape MacLear.
During day and at night it is really quiet, although you might hear the local drums sometimes.
It will give you the real African "feel". Getting AroundA secured car park is available at a distance of 50 meters.
Cape MacLear can easily be reached by private car.
From Monkey Bay local transport is scarce, but there is Always the possibility to rent a motorbike + driver. Other Things to NoteBecause of the numerous black-outs recently in Malawi, a emergency power back-up through batteries has been installed in the cottage.
During the time when there is electricity, the batteries are being loaded.
This will guarantee guests with electricity for hot water, lights, fan's, television, WIFI, water cooker for 24/7.
Limited cooking facilities are available (microwave & from January 2017 on a 2 plate induction cooker) during blackouts.
The electrical stove and oven though take too much capacity for the batteries to be used during a black-out.
