The Stable only accommodates two guests with a king bed and comes appointed with amenities like towels, house slippers, toilet paper, shampoo, conditional, bath gel, tooth brush, shower cap, cutlery, wine glasses, drinking water, tea making facilities and a Nespresso Coffee machine. We have wifi access, channel flat screen TV and a DVD player. Interaction with GuestsWe will keep in touch for your arrival details. Please let us know your mode of transport to Melaka so that we can advise you on the details for transportation/parking etc. As we do not have a standby reception in the house, we need to know your exact time of arrival. Otherwise, it will takes at least 20 minutes waiting time.
A short house briefing will be conducted during the check in process and a a map for you to get familiar with the neighbourhood. The Baba Nyonya Heritage Museum is about a mins walk away.
We are 10-15 minutes walk to most of historical sites like the Dutch Square, Christ church, St Paul Hill and St Francis Xavier Church.
There are cafes, bars, Satay house and handicraft shops on the same street with us.
Local food eatries (hawker store) , Assam Pedas (Malay sour& spicy fish), tandoori chicken with naan are barely 10 mins walk away.
There is a morning market selling fresh vegetables, fish & poultry less than 10 minutes walk away.
Bicycles rental are available at the convenience shop nearby.
Laundry service is 2 streets away. Getting AroundWe are located on a narrow side street called Jalan Hang Kasturi. Our address is D Jalan Hang Kasturi, 75200 Melaka.
We do not have parking facility. Street parkings and open space public/private parking lots are 5-15 mins walk away.
If you are driving, you may park at any the open space public parking located opposite Casa Del Rio Hotel. Park your car. Walk towards Jonker Street (the Heritage area), cross the road and walk into the street opposite you and we are on your right. opposite us is RED HANDICFAFT.
If you arrived by coach at the Sentral bus Station of Malacca, you can choose to come by
1) take a domestic bus No 17. Stop at DUTCH SQUARE or TOWN SQUARE. Cross the pedestrian crossing towards the river. Cross the bridge. Hard Rock cafe will be on your right.
Walk into the street opposite you called Jonker Street. Turn into the 2nd junction on your left called JALAN HANG KASTURI. Walk down the street, you will see a Satay restaurant on your right, follow by Calanthe Art Cafe on your right. Walk a bit further we are on your left opposite the Red handicraft.

3) download "Grap" Or "Uber" application. Charges between rm12~15.
Nearest landmak is "Baba Nyonya Heritage Museum". Other Things to NoteThe famous Jonker Street is just around the corner. The Jonker Walk Night market that happened over the weekend from fri -Sun (6pm-12MN) is a great place for local food and craft. During this time, some of the streets around this area will be converted to pedestrian walk.
Expect an old house to behave in her characters.
We are located next to a side street with vehicles and pedestrian passing by. and you are also in the middle of the action with bars and cafes, do expect a certain level of noise especially on a weekend.
