Our strand is beautiful with blue waters and many of our guests enjoy the inexpensive cruises to explore other parts of the island or go swimming and diving. The strand is filled with cafe's, restaurants and shops. Our bus stop has great connections if you wish to visit other areas of this beautiful island. Getting Around Located ideally between St Julians and Valletta in pretty Gzira Strand. There is easy access to anywhere in Malta: - Bus stop around the corner - HSBC bank around the corner, - bars and supermarket around corner, -swimming in Tigne point rocky beach 15 mins walk, -swimming in St. George's bay sandy beach, 15 mins by bus -shopping in Sliema 5 mins walk, -sightseeing in Valletta 15 mins by bus, -partying in Paceville 20 mins by bus -you name it, everything is close! The SpaceTwo Sailing Yachts, both berthed at the Marsamxett CreekYacht Marina, within 50 meters from the prestigious Royal Malta Yacht Club are available. This yacht, A Jeanneau 43 foot (13 meter) Sailing motor cruiser, Sleeps 8 and our other yacht, a 40 foot (12 meter +) Bavaria (Sleeps 6), are available either simply to sleep in, that is sleeping accomodation being available for 2 guests in each of the 4 private cabins, (3 private cabins on the Bavaria) Or for additional use for day charters - max 8 hours daily - Minimum 2 hours, Skippered - NOT bare boat - and within Malta's territorial waters, unless otherwise chartered. Evening or night sailings are optional extras Cooking facilities are available on board, while the marina has excellent toilet and washing facilities, should you not want to use the boat's two heads. Security is availabile for 24 hours throughout the Marina. Restaurants and shopping facilities are within a 5 minute walk from each pontoon, whilst a 10 minute walk will get you in the heart of Sliema. Or, should you prefer, a bus ride (Bus stop opposite the pontoon) will get you to the Capital City - Valletta and beyond or the hustle and bustle of St. Julian's and Paceville area. The Price quoted is for Sleeping Accomodation ONLY per night for either boat. We can quote for any additional requirements, such as an 8 hour day sail or less (Minimum 2 hours) in international waters, whilst any evening or night sailing is optional at an additional charge. Any day charters are subject to availability. Should you wish to use either boat for accomodation only, and not for daily cruising use, you can make a combination of sleeping on the boat or by opting to lodge at the skipper's private residence instead at no extra charge. Extra charges will be incurred should you opt to have 'your' boat berthed in different marinas or moorings. We would gladly give you a quote for any combination of your requirements during your stay. The SpaceThis spacious modern apartment is set in a central neighborhood just couple of minutes walk from the Sliema center, Malta's most affluent touristic area. Close proximity (10 minutes walk) to the language schools. Although the location of the apartment is very central it lies in a very quiet residential street made up of traditional Maltese townhouses and there is no construction or any other development allowed in this street as it is considered as a part of the old Sliema village core. The apartment is on the second floor of a block of apartments (old Type-looks like a townhouse from the outside to blend in with neighbouring houses).Consists of a living area with LED Television, a fully equipped kitchen, a spacious double bedroom with ensuite a twin bedroom and full bathroom with bath leading on to a balcony with BBQ. The apartment comes complete with linen and towels and has cable TV and free Wi-Fi Internet. The apartment has both bedrooms and living room fully air-conditioned. This apartment is right in the centre of Sliema, near all the action. Shopping centres like the Plaza Shopping centre and Tigne Point are just walking distance away. The Arriva Bus Terminus is 5 minutes away to get around the island. It takes 10 minutes by bus to get to Valletta or else you can take the ferry for less than 2 Euro and you get a small cruise round the harbour to Valletta. It also has a large back terrace with seating arrangement for 6 people and barbeque area. The penthouse is very central walking distance from all amenities. This beautiful modern Penthouse is set on the fourth floor of this new apartment block. It is served by a four passenger lift. It has fantastic open views from its back terrace. The apartment is fully equipped has Wi-Fi internet throughout the apartment and full cable TV. It consists of a large open plan kitchen/living/dining leading to the back terrace, the kitchen is fully equipped ready to use for easy cooking. The penthouse is very central walking distance from all amenities. Further more it has a further two large double bedrooms one with ensuite and another family bathroom. In addition this penthouse is walking distance to the St Julains promenade like 10 minutes or less down hill to Balluta Bay St Julains. Also the bus stop is just 2 minutes off the apartment as well. The NeighborhoodSliema was once just a fishing village on the north-east coast of Malta but later on it started to become popular for the wealthy Valletta residents who built summer residences here. The commercial centre is The Ferries - in the days before regular bus services, the Ferries used to connect Sliema to Valletta. Nowadays the Harbour Cruises and Gozo Tours set off from there and there is still a Ferry to Valletta. There are also a number of cafes and shops patronised by locals from all over Malta as well as tourists. Though to the given modern twist due to newly built apartments one could go into the side streets where there are many of the town`s authentic houses which are now under preservation orders. There aren`t really any historical sites apart from the Churches. Full of shops, entertainment establishments, rocky beaches and best of all the 5 km long Sea Front Promenade with a number of bars and restaurants with plenty of seating all along. There are beach lido`s and Water Polo clubs that offer all amenities and a large pool to visitors, also facilities for Water Sports. It starts from St Julians Spinola Bay to Manoel Island in Marsamxett Harbour . The Sliema promontory has stunning views of Valletta on one side with open sea on the other. Along the Promenade one can enjoy the lovely view of our Mediterranean sea, with some bays and inlets. There is also a garden along the sea shore - lovely for relaxing. There is only a small sandy beach, but the limestone beach is excellent for sunbathing and there is easy access to the sea. Nothing beats a dip in the blue sea! Sliema has the advantage of a good bus service with direct buses to most places of interest. In Summer and fine Winter days, whole families congretate on the Front for a leisurely evening or afternoon. It is also serves as a meeting place for the locals. Whenever the sea is rough in winter, it`s awsome to see the huge waves pounding the rocky beaches. Sliema adjoins St Julians and although they have very different cultures and share the Promenade , in a way they can be considered one big town.     Home stay D’Agostino is family home-run accommodation by Vanessa and Kevin who have been doing this for the past 15 years. Our home is a typical Maltese spacious converted town house consisting of a roof garden and a yard. All bathrooms and bedrooms are newly refurbished. A new storey has been built which will be ready for next year's guests. We have a large living area and kitchen. We enjoy exchanging cultures and traditions with other people from all over the world. Both Kevin and I speak English and Italian. I also speak French and I am well acquainted with German and Arabic. If you are looking for a clean and cozy room close to the beach and all amenities then Home Stay D’Agostino is what you need. Parking during the day is easy but in the evening it is more difficult when everyone comes home from work. Close to Sliema harbour and shops, historic Valletta is close by and only a 20 minute walk from St. Julians with all its restaurants, bars and discos. I'm a great host I love to meet new people and have been a host for language students for more than five years. I have a good knowledge of Malta so can help with sightseeing ideas, Malta is a small island so nothing is very far away.

It is, as some other Fusion 4 units, situated on the third floor of a totally private residential building. It is approx 500 meters from my personal apartment opposite the Five Star - Meridien Hotel, and Balluta Bay. A ten minute walk from this apartment, will get you close to all major language schools, shops, and restaurants in the shopping district of Sliema, and the entertainment area of Paceville, St George's sandy beach and the much sought after and popular waterfront promenade between St. Julian’s and Sliema. Needless to say some other same facilities are at your doorstep. Water sports, scuba diving, gym facilities, heated swimming pool, spa, sauna and related activities are also nearby. This apartment, has it’s own private entrance which is accessible through a common entrance on the ground floor. It is situated on the 3rd and 4th floor level. It is equipped with modern furnishings, and comprises of an L Shaped open plan sitting dining room area, a fully equipped kitchen, with an electric oven, hob, fridge and freezer and a washing machine. It also has a Plasma TV. in the sitting/living room. This apartment consists of a bedroom at the penthouse level which is fitted with two single beds which has its own shower/toilet facilities, and a very large outdoor terrace.       The SpaceThe Duplex 1 bedroom apartment, situated on the 2nd & 3rd floor of a private townhouse, in the middle of a quiet street in central Sliema, 900 meters uphill from the Sliema seafront and promenade on one side and also 900 meters uphill as well from the Balluta Bay/St Julian’s seafront and promenade! It has been renovated and fully furnished to high standards, recently in March 2014. The Apartment has 1 bedroom with AC on the 2nd floor, with a 6 foot king size bed which can be converted into twin bed if needed, 4 door wardrobe, 2 bedside tables and a 32 inch LED TV with Local & Italian Channels and DVD Player. Further up roof level on the 3rd floor, there is a large Living/Kitchen with all appliances including granite counter tops, washing machine, fridge freezer, hob, hood, oven all the kitchen utensils & cutlery needed. A round glass table with 4 eating chairs. Living Area Has a 40inch LCT TV with lots of Bilingual Satellite Channels and DVD/Radio/small Surround system, and access to a medium back roof terrace with views over the St Julian’s rooftops & distant sea views. Complete with outdoor eating table & 2 outdoor eating chairs The Compact shower Room/WC is on the same floor. Also on the 3rd floor there is a large front Veranda complete with a BBQ and outdoor seating area Rattan sofas. The whole apartment has unlimited hot water supply on demand thanks to the solar system being backed up with gas system. On the 3rd floor there is no AC but there are 3 wall fans which are enough even in our hottest months as the roof ceilings have a very good insulation. Best Option is: Take bus X4 or X5 from the Airport direction Valletta and stop in Porte des Bombes (Bus Stop name: Bombi 2A) then take the stairs down 30seconds to (bus Stop name: Bombi 4) from there catch either bus 21 or bus 22 and stop in Sliema Savoy area (bus stop name: Leyland) bus stop is on top of the hill 3mins away from the Apartment. Whole trip should take between 55mins and 70mins in total. 2nd Best Option is: Take bus X2 from the Airport direction St.Julians and stop in Ballutta Bay, excectly infront of the Ballutta Church after passing the Neptunes Pool/Waterpolo pitch. The location of the apartment makes it ideal for those who wish to relax yet be in a central part of Sliema close to any amenity. The apartment has very wide entrance hall leading to the living area finished with parquet too with comfortable couch and 32' LED tv with complementary cable tv. The apartment has a very spacious double bedroom with parquet flooring. With a fully functional, spacious, family bathroom. The kitchen comes fully equipped with comfortable dining spacious seating area leading to a small back balcony. It also has wifi internet and cable tv on complementary basis. The NeighborhoodSliema was once just a fishing village on the north-east coast of Malta but later on it started to become popular for the wealthy Valletta residents who built summer residences here. The commercial centre is The Ferries - in the days before regular bus services, the Ferries used to connect Sliema to Valletta. Nowadays the Harbour Cruises and Gozo Tours set off from there and there is still a Ferry to Valletta. There are also a number of cafes and shops patronised by locals from all over Malta as well as tourists. Though to the given modern twist due to newly built apartments one could go into the side streets where there are many of the town`s authentic houses which are now under preservation orders. There aren`t really any historical sites apart from the Churches. Full of shops, entertainment establishments, rocky beaches and best of all the 5 km long Sea Front Promenade with a number of bars and restaurants with plenty of seating all along. There are beach lido`s and Water Polo clubs that offer all amenities and a large pool to visitors, also facilities for Water Sports. It starts from St Julians Spinola Bay to Manoel Island in Marsamxett Harbour . The Sliema promontory has stunning views of Valletta on one side with open sea on the other. Along the Promenade one can enjoy the lovely view of our Mediterranean sea, with some bays and inlets. There is also a garden along the sea shore - lovely for relaxing. There is only a small sandy beach, but the limestone beach is excellent for sunbathing and there is easy access to the sea. Nothing beats a dip in the blue sea! Sliema has the advantage of a good bus service with direct buses to most places of interest. In Summer and fine Winter days, whole families congretate on the Front for a leisurely evening or afternoon. It is also serves as a meeting place for the locals. Whenever the sea is rough in winter, it`s awsome to see the huge waves pounding the rocky beaches. Sliema adjoins St Julians and although they have very different cultures and share the Promenade , in a way they can be considered one big town. Other Things to NoteDue to cleaning necessities the check-in time for the apartments is generally 2.00pm and the check-out is at 10.00am however if there are no arrivals on the same day the apartment can be kept for longer. Please not that for the weekly price the property includes basic utilities as per below: - 100KWh- for 1 bedroom apartment - 150KWh- for 2 bedroom apartment - 200KWh- for 3 bedroom/ 4-bedroom apartment - 300KWh- for villas We give the above kWh free per week with the apartment which is more than sufficient . However if the inclusive amount of KWh will be exceed, an extra charge will apply at a rate of 0. 35c per KWh. Other than that there are no other hidden expenses or charges. Also please note that when the monthly rate is selected, the price will NOT be inclusive of any utilities. Those would be paid for as much as one consumes. On check in a payment of 70euro for utility start up will be requested. If not used the difference will be refunded if used more though, the difference will have to be paid for. Cleaning of the property prior the arrival and after departure is included in the price. Any extra cleaning during accommodation will incur extra charges. Two sets of towels per person and one set of linen per bed is also provided by us, then it is up to one's discrepancy to wash them as much often as desired. Apartment also available for long term booking of 6 months period maximum with a monthly rate, in such case utilities will not be included in the rate. Please do ask for quote should you be interested Please note that the rental price does not include the Environmental Contribution tax, introduced on June 2016 amounting to €0.50c per night up to a maximum of €5 for each continuous stay in the Maltese Islands.
