The SpaceThe apartment building (Block 31) is an iconic building and is the very last Block to have been built in the prestigious Portomaso Development, so everything has that new feel about it. I bought and furnished this apartment for my own personal residence - not originally as a holiday rental - so everything is of top quality and with no expense spared. Having now moved to a smaller apartment myself, I am now offering this apartment for others to enjoy the lifestyle experience, in the sublime location of Portomaso.
Portomaso has its own Security team patrolling 24/7 and whilst the area is a very safe and secure environment it is reassuring to know that if you have a problem any time of the day or night, help is always on hand.
Accommodation Comprises: Two spacious King Size Bedroom Suites, one on the elevated ground floor with its own walk-in wardrobe, and separate en-suite shower room/WC. The other is the Master Suite located upstairs on the open plan mezzanine area, incorporating exceedingly spacious bedroom area, with triple wardrobe and private decked balcony, spacious dressing area and further large double wardrobe, large frosted glass shower enclosure, with both hand held shower and fixed shower drench, large vanity basin, full size bath with further shower attachment, and separate WC. The open plan living/kitchen/dining is a very sociable space for two couples sharing, to meet for a chilled glass of fizz before setting out for the evening. A fully equipped kitchen has everything you will need, including the essential integrated dishwasher and large stainless steel, American Fridge Freezer. Newly Installed Washing Machine & Tumble Dryer are recessed by the entrance hall, and the apartment also benefits from central Air Conditioning, as well as Insect Screens (every window except for the Patio Doors in the Living area) if you prefer fresh air to A/C. The sofas are handmade from soft Aniline Leather, and the Main window has a motorised blackout, Roman Blind, with matching manual, blackout, Roman Blind upstairs. Both front windows have luxurious sheers in addition to the blinds, to diffuse the light and add privacy. The apartment has a trendy, 'loft-living' vibe to it, and aims to provide a boutique-hotel style experience for my guests. Guest AccessGuests at the Portomaso Duplex Apartment have access to the entire apartment and all its fixtures and fittings. They will also be able to benefit from the underground car parking area at additional daily cost, (€6.50 per day) should they choose to hire a car, and the interconnecting lifts (there are 3) that connect the car parking area with Block 31.
In addition, I can offer Discounted Daily Guest Passes (subject to payment & availability) for use of the Hilton Hotel outdoor pools (including The Merkanti Beach Club Pools) current cost is €15 per person per day and includes a towel & sun lounger & umbrella if required, and which are provided upon entering the Hilton pool areas. There is a restaurant and bar selling food, drinks and ice creams by the pool areas, with patrolling waiters. There are also WC's and private shower facilities located between the pools and the bar. The Livingwell Gym and Myoka Spa both located at the Hilton Hotel at the end of the road are also accessible to guests staying at the Portomaso Duplex Apartment upon payment to the respective businesses.
The rocky beach with its crystal clear waters at Spinola Bay is a couple of minutes walk away and is accessible to all, with a concrete gently sloping ramp into the sea in the shallows, or via a metal step ladder off the concrete jetty into deeper but still clear water. This area is ringed off from boats as a safe bathing area. Interaction with GuestsI am a very friendly person and am happy to interact with Guests as and when they wish.
As a minimum, I will be there for Check-In and Check-Out for their stay, but I am also on hand throughout their stay, should they need my assistance for anything, or to help them organise anything for the duration of their stay. I am only an email, SMS Message, or Telephone Call away! I am contactable 24/7 should you need me and ALWAYS happy to help! :-) The NeighborhoodPortomaso is an exceptional location. So much so, I see lots of listings on Airbnb and other portals using this location in their title - even when they are 'near to' or 'close by' but not ACTUALLY here in the development.
I can assure you that Block 31 is most definitely in Portomaso and enjoys all the benefits that this prestigious address has to offer.
All the best eateries, wine bars and restaurants are literally just a few minutes stroll away. The Casino is 200 metres away (a couple of minutes on foot), and all the beautiful outdoor swimming pools of the 5 Star Hilton Hotel & Merkanti Beach Club are within ten minutes walk from the Apartment. As are the D1 Water Sports Centre and Portomaso Water Taxi Service to Valletta & Sliema.
Arkadia Supermarket is also approximately 100 metres away, and has a Waitrose Section, Fresh Fish counter and Meat & Deli counter as well as a bakery and alcohol section too.
Newsagents & Pharmacy/Opticians are scattered about, and within the same distance.
Buses and Taxi's are 2 minutes walk away, and the rocky beach and concrete spit to swim from, at the beautiful and sheltered, Spinola Bay.
You could not wish for a better located holiday apartment, which is why many other listings will try to convince you that they are in Portomaso, when in fact they are not part of this beautiful development and will be situated a little further away.
Airport is approx 30 mins drive away and a taxi will cost between €20 - €25 euro. Getting AroundTaxi's are just a hop skip and a jump away (two minutes by foot) and a very frequent, and well provided, bus service, is a two minute walk away - literally.
There are also the Open-Top Island Tour buses which stop at The Hilton Hotel or the bus stop, which are both two minutes away. These run every 30 minutes and are highly recommended as a 'hop-on, hop-off' day trip to learn about the island. I have even been on them myself!
A Water Taxi at Portomaso runs till 6pm during the Spring & Summer months only, and can take you directly to Sliema or Valletta by sea, avoiding the road traffic congestion, or you can walk or bus to Sliema and catch a ferry to Valletta from there and they usually operate till late. It is advisable to always check the timetable for yourself.

I am happy to arrange airport transfers to and from the airport should you wish me to do so for you - please just ask. Expect to pay between €20 to €25 each way via a taxi and travelling time is approx 30 mins traffic dependent.
I am happy to recommend places to dine and can make your table reservations should you wish me to do so, and organise boat trips, yacht charter, and cruises, upon request. (No charge for my help in organising things for you).
