The SpaceHi there! We are Stefan and Carisa and Boccu - our cat! we are offering one bedroom of our two bedroom apartment for rent this summer. The apartment is located in Madliena which is very central, an up-market residential zone (which you wont read about on any tourist info site). It's amazingly quiet with a pool and views to die for! We prefer to say yes to couples since this is far from our main job, in fact it is something we do very occasionally on the side and the best experiences we've had so far have been couples. I live with my girlfriend Carissa. We keep the place super clean and have a super terrace, with valley/sea views from each room (including the bedroom for rent), surround sound in the main rooms, a nice fish tank, a BBQ, and one of the largest private pools in Malta (open June - September). We're just 0.9 miles from the sea and actually a great swimming spot (one of the last pics). The apartment is finished to the highest standards - no leaky taps or rusty cookers in this joint joint- expect rain showers and modern everything. I would recommend that you hire a rental car during your stay, because it will help you get around Malta a lot quicker and allow you to do tonnes more stuff, rental cars are not expensive at all here. The flat is a 10 minute walk from the bus stop, 5 minutes from St Julians by bus, and central enough to get to the north quickly too. Perfect for doing un-torusity things and discovering the whole island vs getting banged up in a hotel in the middle of tourist zone! I really don't mind you enjoying the house as if it were your own - you are very welcome to have drinks here and invite some friends round. I sail, and windsurf in my free time and Carissa and I also love to go out on country treks hikes and swims off the beaten track. I also run an online ticketing website for events called ShowsHappening - so feel free to ask me for tips on where to go party too - from 30+ wine and dine events to underground raves (you might want to ask me before you book). I am a very easygoing guy and am renting the room for a bit of extra cash this summer. My aim is not to rent it out constantly but to meet nice people who want to experience malt a bit differently. Guest AccessEverywhere Interaction with GuestsAs much as you like, usually I am home as I work from home (but I also go out almost every night in the evenings especially in Summer) The NeighborhoodMadliena is an upmarket area (one of the most upmarket localities in Malta) since it is in the countryside yet central, which given the size of our island is unique. Living here is a luxury. Getting AroundThere is a bus stop with good connections a 10 minute walk away but it does involve a couple of hills - which is fine during the day for a short visit but a bit of a pain at night. However taxis are cheap (€10) to here as I am very central and if im going out or sometimes not even - ill always give you a lift. Car rentals are also great, ranging from just €15/16 off peak to €22 peak season. Especially if you are 2 - a car is totally worth it. I can arrange a car to be dropped off here or at the Airport and you can drop off at Airport. Don't worry about driving here - many people have hired and noone has so much as scratched the car.

The SpaceA twin room of around 16sqm with a private balcony overlooking a green area and the pool. The apartment is more than 200sqm with high ceilings and surrounded by greenery, horses and cows thus making it very quiet and peaceful at any time during the day. It is on a private road so traffic is limited. There is are terraces surrounding the whole building where one can do barbecues while enjoying unobstructed view from Ibragg/San Gwann to Valletta. Being in the music/entertainment industry, I can recommend the best events happening at that time. The NeighborhoodBeing a fully -detached block of apartments with surrounding private road, pool and fields, the neighborhood is a quiet one. Getting AroundThe block has a private road and garages around it so there is ample parking. The nearest bus stop is a 2-minute walk. I will happily pick up the guests as long as it is not during office hours. Alternatively the apartment is a short drive from the airport by taxi. Other Things to NoteThe pool is available between June and end of August . This is a communal pool and guests need to respect the other residents in terms of noise levels especially late at night when people might be sleeping. The pool area also includes a showers and toilet. Please note that the pool water is monitored fortnightly.

Those of you who love animals will feel quite happy here as I have a Pharoah Hound and a ginger cat to mention a few, the rest are in small cages or in the water! You should know that just minutes away from my home you will find a sandy beach and also a rocky beach.There are also banks, internet cafes, cinemas, bowling alley, pubs, restaurants, night clubs and a variety of shops all within a few minutes walk from my house. This area is quite unique because although it is very central, it is also fairly quiet, and you are sure to get a good nights' sleep. Looking forward to welcoming you into my home!
