The bedroom has premium Members Mark sheets and the bed is king size.
The shower is well lighted and very clean.
The kitchen is clean and has 4 chairs and table as well as kitchenware for 4.
The kitchen place is surrounded by two high density futons placed on L shape that are meant to be used by the 3rd and 4th guest, when rented for 4 persons.

They'll come back to the Rancho by the morning.

Remember there is not much electricity, only this cabin has solar lights and a couple of plugs, so it is highly recommended to get there before 5pm.
And make sure you get there at least before 7pm, otherwise the owners will be gone, and there will be no access to your cabin. The NeighborhoodRancho Ecológico Sol de Mayo is a destination with 6 comfortable cabins, human touch, wonderful trails, and a lovely waterfall at a walking distance. Getting AroundDIRECTIONS.
----- Print them and carry them with you, please. You'll need them -----
From San José del Cabo Airport, take the road towards Los Barriles. It going to be a 1 lane each way road, and you'll pass Caduaño, Miraflores and then enter Santiago, about 40km (25 miles north).
Once you get to Santiago downtown, take Francisco J. Mujica street northbound 500 meters and then you'll see the tables listing distances "Sol de Mayo 10 km".
Here put SPECIAL attention.
From there, follow the arrows through the dirt road going up for about 200 meters. Then on the 4-way intersection, take the left dirt road (This is where all the owner-made signage are). Once you turned left, keep straight for about 600 meters. You'll see an ad saying "Sol de Mayo" indicating turning to the right. From there you are about 8 kms away. Follow that path and you'll see another sign after 3 kms indicating turning right, that will be the last ad, from there is just straight until you enter the Rancho. You can't miss it from this point.
Remember, when you see the listing distances, count the kilometers so you can track your location. There will be two or three crossroads so follow carefully the signs. Arrive with sunlight, it will help you drive comfortably. It takes 30 minutes by car from Santiago downtown.
GET THERE BY CAR
It is needed to get to Rancho Sol de Mayo by car. It has signals every 3 km and it is a well known destination in the region.
Go up the mountains by mule.
From there you can go up into the mountain renting a mule directly with Prisciliano. His people can guide you through the sierra on board of a mule. Ask me for it in advance.
Also you can go to the hot springs (about 100 pesos entrance fee) which are about 25km (45 mins) from the rancho towards the mountains across canyons. Reachable by car (with patience). Definitely worth it if you have some adventurer spirit.
IF YOU DONT HAVE A CAR, ask us for a 18km ride. It will cost you 200 pesos cash. And let us know at what time would you arrive to the bus stop on the road, since I'd have to talk with Celeste so she can go and pick you up on her old reddish Voyager. Other Things to NoteNote: Consider that since there is no great electricity, after 90 F it may turn too hot to sleep. That said, keep reading :)
The destination is right on the skirts of the sierra, so it is common to see wildlife around. Take your camera and make your perfect picture :)
Celeste is a doctor with extensive career in this rural areas and she can take care of any minor issue that comes up.
