The SpaceThe Pigeon house is special because it is a rustic, traditional Moroccan home. It is very old and it is where my late Grandparents lived. You will love the courtyard complete with grapefruit tree in the center. If you also wish to experience Eco friendly tourism, interacting with the locals and have a more rustic Moroccan experience you will love this.
The home is called so as pigeons live in the mud walls -they do not enter your room and they are very quiet at night so you will have uninterrupted peaceful sleep.
Built with mud walls and straw the earth house is cool in summer and warm in winter.
The bedrooms are cozy. The best part about this house is it is back to basics with no electricity or WiFi. The toilet is a traditional Moroccan toilet. The bathroom available is a Moroccan hamam which is a unique experience! There is also a shower with hot running water avalible to use in our family home next door
Candles and lamps will be provided. Breakfast will be traditional Moroccan with bread, olive oil, jam, butter, olives and wonderful Moroccan mint tea or milk coffee.
I can arrange taxi pick up from airport which is 80 kilometres away. Agadir airport is closest.
With the pigeon house, you can ask for individual rooms if you do not want the full house, bathroom, toilet.

Some guests like me accompanying them to the local souks. There is a lot to see here - including the local Argan women's cooperative, the Busy Bee center, the traditional olive oil press - if it is open. The NeighborhoodThe neighborhood is safe and has a quiet, sleepy village feel.
It is usual to greet other villagers - even if you do not know them- by saying Salaam. Getting AroundThere are taxis available for hire. Taxi fares are reasonable and I can help arrange if you are a non French/Arabic speaker.
