The SpaceWe have 8 Bedrooms in total of which 4 En-suite Rooms these are for a maximum of 2 people (one has a King split bed which can be made into two singles the 3 others have queen beds) the other three consisting of one is our wheelchair suite so has a large bathroom and is on the ground floor there is also a separate chalet just behind the main B and B house the 2 remaining en suites rooms are upstairs and have a shared balcony. We also have 2 Queen Room’s and one room with 2 single beds, these are for a maximum of 2 people as well as a room with a single bed, this room sleeps 1 person only . These 4 rooms all have shared bathroom facilities and are all on the 1st floor. We have two fold up beds suitable for Children 10 or under only there are only two rooms that will take an extra bed in them both are En-suite. We also have 1 port-a-cot available this will only fit in our En-suite rooms. Lovely warm comfortable rooms with free tea, coffee, hot chocolate and cookies. Wheelchair suite option as well as a separate chalet for those wanting a little more privacy. Great communal facilities including a lovely large outdoor BBQ area. We supply all Linen, towels etc. and a full Continental Breakfast each morning. All with FREE WiFi. Guest AccessAll our guests have access to our communal Kitchen, dining, lounge with TV DVD and Fire as well as our fabulous outdoor BBQ area with gas BBQ and outdoor dining facilities. We do have a laundry available for our guests to use at a small cost. We offer free pool towels for the Hot Springs and all rooms have lovely warm robes, soap, shampoo with hair dryers in all En-suite rooms and our shared bathroom. There is tea, coffee, hot chocolate and cookies either available in the Kitchen or most of our rooms. We serve breakfast daily in our dining and breakfast room giving all our guest the chance to chat with us and fellow travelers. All with FREE WiFi. Interaction with GuestsWe live on site so are available to answer any queries at anytime our guests may have about our property, it's facilities or about Hanmer Springs and the surrounding area in general. We ensure all our guests are familiar with all that our B & B has to offer and have maps and guides of both Hanmer Springs and other parts of the South Island. The NeighborhoodWe are situated in the heart of the village only a 2 minute walk away from the Hot Pools, Day Spa's, restaurants, library, cafe's, shops, walking / tramping and biking tracks, Mini Golf and a 18 hole Golf Course. Horse Riding, Jet boating, Bungee Jumping, Quad Biking, Clay Bird Shooting, Canoeing, Paint Ball and Skiing are all within a short drive away and transport can be arranged. Hanmer holds many events including a Summer Craft Stall on a Saturday, Music Concerts, Mountain Bike Races, Marathon's and Half Marathon's, 5 and 10K races, events for the whole family. You can relax with a nice massage and a lovely soak in the Thermal Pools or you can walk, run or bike the many tracks through The Hanmer Forest, St James, Molesworth and Rainbow tracks or even climb to the top of Mount Isobel or take a shorter trip to our wonderful waterfall taking timeout after a hard days activity to soak in the Thermal Pools. We have so many wonderful Restaurants and Cafe's so many different cuisines to choose from or those wanting to self cater and make use of our Kitchen and BBQ we have a great well stocked supermarket just a couple of minutes walk away. Wine and Olive Grove tours can be arranged. Getting AroundGetting around on foot is easy as so much is so close or you could hire a Mountain Bike or a Paddle Pop from The Adventure Centre or a Village Cruiser from The Crazy Mini Golf. For those who prefer the four legged variety you can go Horse Riding or take a ride on a Horse and Carriage (season and weather permitting). Other Things to NoteWe can make bookings for any activity that you would like to do during your stay and have a wide range of information available on Hanmer Springs and The South Island or you can pop into the information centre which is just 2 minutes away or use the computer in the local library to research for the next part of your journey if you don't have your own with you.
