The SpaceIn the country but 20 minutes from a main New Zealand City.
Our Guest Room is light, airy with a comfy bed and has all that you would need for your stay. Tea and coffee making facilities in your room together with the latest fibre internet speed with unlimited data, so you can sit back, relax and stream a movie in your room for no additional cost.
Christchurch accommodation is often full due to a short supply of motel/hotel rooms following the 2011 Earthquakes plus the roading network can be a nightmare for tourists to navigate, so it is much better to take the 20 minute trip North and stay in the lovely country Town of Rangiora.
Pick up/drop off to/from Christchurch on arrival/departure if required at additional cost (shown in location details) or if you have transport we are very easy to find. A new bus service is also available from the Airport directly to Rangiora. Guest AccessGuests will have access to their own toilet & shower area. The kitchen can be used for limited time by prior arrangement and you can join us if desired in the evening in the lounge area.
Breakfast (cereal + toast) can be supplied at no additional cost if desired. Just ask and we will show where everything is located for breakfast if you prefer to help yourself, or if we know what you normally eat then we can lay out your preference in the morning.
BBQ available too + outdoor seating in large garden for those summer/autumn evenings.
We are also very pleased to include our guest/s at evening meal time for some great Kiwi home-cooked food/conversation, however this will all be fully dependent on the Guest's travel movements/whether dietary preferences fit with our meal cooked, timing etc. and is very much an informal type arrangement by request on a day by day basis and is fully at the Host's discretion and also depends on the Guest's preferences.
There in NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE for this meal option. Interaction with GuestsStuart works from home in the Tourism industry in New Zealand, deals with multi-national clients on a daily basis and will be at hand to offer local and general New Zealand knowledge.
He will provide as much or as little information as required, subject to who is staying at the time. The NeighborhoodYou are a few minutes stroll to the Town Centre for all the shops, cafes and restaurants/take-aways.
Unlike Christchurch's long term revival Rangiora has now been fully repaired and there is a wonderful selection of new restaurants and cafes plus department store and boutique shopping.
We are a thriving, fashionable Town and due to its close proximity to Christchurch, we think it has a lot more to offer than Christchurch itself, especially the issue with continual delays and roadworks in Christchurch.
