The SpaceThe guest wing comprises of two bedrooms, one with a queen, and the other with a double and a single bed. The spacious bathroom is equipped with a shower and large claw-foot bath. The modern kitchen is fully equipped with fridge-freezer oven, cooktop, microwave and dishwasher, as well as essentials like toaster and kettle etc. The living area has a woodburner, dining table, two sofas and two armchairs, and a 40" LCD TV with freeview TV. From the living area you have access to a large verandah with outdoor chairs and tables situated to get the evening sun & sunsets. Guests should feel free to wander the extensive gardens of roses, rhododendrons and daffodils. Guest AccessAll bookings have exclusive sole use of the guest wing. $150 per room, for up to two people. For access to both rooms, which can accomodate for up to 5 guests, please enquire. Standard bookings offer self-catering facilities and include light continental breakfast provisions. A self-catered option with no breakfast provisions is available for $120 per room for up to two people. Please specifiy if you want this option. A fully hosted luxury option including dinner & pre-dinner drinks, and full catered breakfast is available on request provided sufficient notice is given. Washer and dryer are available for a $10 fee upon request. Interaction with GuestsGuests enjoy total privacy from hosts. However, we are more than happy to show you around & suggest local attractions to visit. The NeighborhoodLocal Activities: Local wildlife includes penguins, seals and native birds. A quiet beach is 2 minute drive & 10 minute walk. Or, alternatively, a longer 60-90 minute cliff-top walk with spectacular views. Moeraki boulders are 25 minutes drive to the North. Dunedin, approx 40 minutes to the South is known for it's University & Scottish heritage. Location: Situated 10 minutes off State-Highway-1. Palmerston is 10 minutes to the north.     Centrewood Historic Homestead is set in extensive gardens, park-like grounds amidst native bush. It is situated adjacent to rugged cliffs and sandy beaches with seals, penguins and seabirds. The homestead is a very large private house with accommodation for guests in a private wing of the homestead, being 2 bedrooms, bathroom and very large living room / kitchen. Most guests find that a two night stay allows them to fully appreciate all the hidden secrets the area has to offer. Centrewood is an ideal place to relax and unwind in tranquil surroundings away from the pressure of tourist resorts, yet is only 10 minutes from SH 1, 20 minutes to Moeraki boulders, close to Dunedin and only 3 1/2 hours to Queenstown.

      Centrewood Homestead historique est définie dans les vastes jardins, parc des motifs au milieu de la brousse native.       The SpaceWe can supply lovely evening meals if required (extra charge) for 0ne, two or three courses. Priced from $8 to $24 per head. If you wish you may join us for these meals and put your feet up later to relax. Guest AccessThe kitchen is available for coffee, tea etc any time. Lounge is shared with us for TV and showers and baths are available whenever the need arises. WIFI is available as well. Interaction with GuestsWe will make ourselves available for help at any time. The NeighborhoodPalmerston has a lovely small village atmosphere with specialist shops for tourists, plenty of eating places, a hotel, pharmacy , medical centre and we have our own radio station. Getting AroundBecause we are on the main highway, buses pass going back and forth to most places in the South Island. We are 55 Kilometres from Dunedin and about the same distance to Oamaru the home of the little blue penguin.

      We offer a cosy cabin in Kakanui, on the scenic route from Dunedin to Oamaru. 10mins drive to penguin colony and historic Oamaru. Kakanui has a shop for groceries, alcohol, take-aways and petrol. A restaurant in walking distance, open Wed-Sun. Maheno café/hotel is 10mins drive. Have a lovely quiet walk to river and along the beach and then back to the tiny house for coffee or tea. Self-serve breakfast is provide for first night. We are a couple who love guests. We speak English, Swiss-German.

      The SpaceWelcome to Goodwood House(let). Not as flash as the original Goodwood House (well it did have a ballroom) but a pretty fine place to stay all the same. Warm and well equipped. Modern decor A great space to come home to after a busy day. The bedroom has a queen bed. The living room has a couch that transforms into a queen bed. (No cheap trampoline bed here) The houselet is modern and clean. The kitchen has a bench top mini oven, a hot plate, rice cooker and electric frying pan, as well as your jug and toaster. Comfortable outdoor seating on your own patio. Access to an outdoor fireplace or BBQ on request. We live on a lifestyle block and have a few calves at the moment and some wild deer who seemed to have adopted our place while they raise their very young fawns. We have a few very tame cows and a high maintenance cat. There is always something going on, which usually means socialising around the BBQ and out door fireplace.       The SpaceRetro Seaside Cottage enjoys a sneak view of the ocean, that can be admired from the deck with a morning coffee. Tastefully decorated in mid century style, the cottage is small but spacious; with an open plan kitchen, dining, lounge and sun room and with separate spaces for the bathroom and bedroom. High quality linen and a comfortable bed make for a great nights sleep. The wall mounted heat pump warms the entire house within minutes. Guest AccessAdjacent to our larger home, the cottage has all separate amenities and facilities and has its own vehicle parking space. Sharing a large secluded lawn and garden, guests are welcome to pick in season fruit from our orchard and vegetables from the garden.           A quiet secluded location on the edge of Kakanui the bach is a great spot to get away for a weekend, or for a longer holiday. A recent addition has created an open plan living, dining and kitchen area and upstairs bedroom. There is a woodfired hottub available for use (but does require a few hours to heat up). The bach enjoys all day sun and is protected from the prevailing easterly winds. There are plenty of outdoor spaces to relax and enjoy the sun.           The SpaceWe have 6 lotus belle tents beautifully furnished with luxury linen duvet covers and down duvets, chairs, side tables, lamps, tea and coffee facilities. We are currently constructing a building which will be a shared kitchen/dining/bathroom facilities lodge. Whilst under construction we have temporary portable showers and toilets, plus on request a portable toilet for each tent. Guest AccessYou will enjoy your own private luxury lotus belle tent, and one of our tents is the "kitchen" tent which is shared. We have all kitchen facilities and a BBQ for those self catering. On request we provide a meal of BBQ and salads plus desert for $35 per person. Guests have access to the farm to explore at their leisure. Interaction with GuestsPatrick and Amber (your hosts) are available to help at anytime. The NeighborhoodOur glampsite is situated on a working beef cattle farm using wholistic principles. Feel free to ask Amber and Patrick about farm tours which needs to be booked in advance. There are plenty of places to walk on the farm. We are about 7kms from the Alps to Ocean cycle trail, and on request we can pick cyclists up from Kurow. Getting AroundGetting here is easiest by private car. The closest town for public transport is Oamaru. We are 45 mins drive from Oamaru, 1.5 hours from Mount Cook National Park, 2.5 hours from Queenstown. 3 hours from Christchurch.
