The SpaceWe do not live on the farm. It is besides the Parapara Highway [4] about 14 kms from Wanganui. It is 4 kms from the end of the Whanganui River Road. A private campsite for tourists with a camper van or cyclists with a tent. Among the olives are many mature fruit trees, apples, pears, peaches, feijoas, raspberries etc There is usually something to eat. The livestock is mainly geese, ducks and chickens. The are plenty of natives birds and too many wild peacocks. Facilities are limited but there is water and a toilet. There is also a shed with a kitchen. It's an exclusive campsite at present, only one guest a night and you hav the place to yourself. We live in town. Guest AccessThe property is 10 acres. Guests can access all the paddocks, olive grove, orchard and creek bank. There is about 1000 metres of stream bank. The property is next to Lismore forest where many people go mountain biking. But this is New Zealand, don't wander on to other private property. So you will see us but we like to maintain the exclusivity and give the guests their privacy. The NeighborhoodThe olive grove campsite is near the end of the Whanganui River Road. It is besides the Parapara Highway. Getting AroundThere is no public transport. You will need your own vehicle or campervan. A new cycle lane has just been built near the farm.
