You will be free to wonder and enjoy the landscaped gardens and private lawns or just sit back and enjoy the view of the western ranges from your own private deck.
The position of this property overlooks Mapua and Tasman Bay, with views over Richmond and the Richmond ranges on one side with the Western ranges to the other. You will be able to enjoy the complete quietness, only interrupted by native birdsong and watch the Hawk's soar over the ridges below you, from which this property gets its name. There is only one accommodation unit available so you will not be sharing your stay with other guests. Nelson Lakes National Park, which boasts ski fields and good alpine trout fishing rivers, are less than an hour to the south.This is the perfect place to come and relax and get away from the busy urban and city stresses. Interaction with GuestsYour hosts, Mary and Paul, are local residents that have lived in Nelson all their lives. They live in the villa on the property and would be more than happy to offer assistance and guidance toward making your visit the most rewarding experience for you. As the property is in a unique rural setting, they would arrange to meet you at your Nelson destination, including the airport, and guide you to this lovely property. The NeighborhoodHawk's Ridge is a rural setting set apart from neighbouring properties. Getting AroundWe cannot offer you a walk to town but an escape from that lifestyle with only a short drive to the many tourist spots that the region has to offer. The fully equipped kitchen has all the modern appliances with top class cabinetry and granite bench tops that you would expect to find in a modern home. Complimentary continental breakfast is offered on your first morning, and we would also include milk, bread, tea, coffee, etc as well as fresh farm eggs as available from the property and a complimentary bottle of local wine inclusive in the cost of your stay.
A large living space opens up onto your outside deck. Good light inside the living space is achieved through the many skylights in the exposed timber ceilings which gives you an easy relaxed feeling during your stay. Sky television and wireless internet is also provided.
You have your own large private deck complete with BBQ and outside furniture. An outside ramp to this deck from the covered car parking space allows you easy outside access. A further point of access to the accommodation entry area from the covered car space allows ease of access in all conditions.
This accommodation includes two large bedrooms. The master bedroom has a king sized bed with the second bedroom having two king single beds with roller beds underneath. Linen will be provided and this will be serviced for guests who would like to stay longer.
There are two modern bathrooms. Both are wet floor areas. Features include: Waterproofed tiled floors and walls, under floor heating, electrically operated opening skylights, wall hung toilets,(enabling complete cleanliness) large mirrors complete with heater demisters, bathroom heaters, extractor fans and heated towel rails. The on-suite bathroom also has double basins. Towels will be provided and will be serviced for guests who would like to stay longer.
There are 4 beds but a roller bed is available on request. Booking are accepted for a minimum of 3 nights. Tariff is $220 per night for 2 persons and an extra $20 per night for extra guests in peak season. Check out the calendar for other costs through the year.
