This listing is for BEDROOM 2, with two King Single Beds, or one Super King sized bed. Please let us know if you prefer the two singles, or one super-king bed set-up, so we can have it ready for when you arrive :) This listing is for up to 2 guests only.

The bathroom is for the use of our guests only, shared with one other room if it happens to be booked, and includes a walk-in shower, and large bath for a good soak if you fancy one. A hairdryer is available in the bathroom for your use.
Also included in your room are luxurious bath robes and slippers for your use.
The garden is a park-like space, beautiful to relax in and listen to the birds, and watch them at the feeding station.
A continental breakfast is included, with home-grown honey, and marmalade made from our citrus trees, toast, cereals with fruit, yogurt, orange juice, etc.
You have your own Fridge where the milk and butter etc. are stored.
Idea: the local Countdown Supermarket is only 5 minutes away, and has an excellent range of salads, cheese, cold meats, olives, etc to keep in your fridge and have an evening meal with the other guests, this saves having to eat out every night :)
There is an outdoor Bar-b-que available if you would like to cook, shared with the owners and other guests.
Plates and cutlery are available for your use.
Kitchen, but no cooking indoors, there is a fridge for the use of guests . Guest AccessThere is a large park-like garden, with an outdoor table and chairs.
There is a shared lounge area, with an extra table for your laptop, if you need a space, and a communal TV. Also a breakfast dining area with a beautiful outlook, you can watch the birds feeding right outside, while you eat your breakfast.
We are very happy to welcome touring motorcyclists, secure garaging is available for motorcycles, with a workshop. Interaction with GuestsWe are happy to help and interact as much as you are happy with, but if you prefer your privacy, that's fine too. We've lived in Nelson for over 35 years so have a good knowledge of the area and are happy to share our experience.
We work from our separate craft studio behind our house, our web based business makes and sells craft supplies in New Zealand and overseas, it is called craftrunner. So we are close at hand to help you if needed, and Steve is always interested in helping motorcyclists. The NeighborhoodWe are situated in central Stoke, in a quiet private street.
There are Cafes, Takeaway food shops (bring it back and eat in), two large supermarkets, all very handy, just down the road.
McCashins Boutique brewery is just 5mins walk with great beer and food. It is just a small stroll to the bus route. Or use our hire bicycles to get around Nelson, only $35 each per day
Our neighborhood is a beautiful sanctuary in the middle of the area, situated half-way between Nelson and Richmond. Nelson is the starting point to explore the top of the South Island, including the Abel Tasman and Kahurangi National Parks with walking and cycling tracks, skiing in winter, water sports in summer. It is a well established wine growing area, producing some fabulous wines. Our Saturday market is famous for hand-made and home-grown crafts and produce, and is worth a visit even if you just want to people-watch the interesting characters go by. Nelson is home to the WOW (World of Wearable Art) museum. Its fantastic. Getting AroundWe now have Town and Country bicycles available for hire.
There are many cycle Trails around Nelson to satisfy the most dedicated cyclist, from around town to way out in the country on the Taste Nelson Trail. The start of the cycle trail is just 2 minutes ride from our door. You are supplied with helmets, safety vests, gloves, and a free bottle of water.
The bus is only a 5 minute walk away, you can take the bus into Nelson, or the opposite direction out to Richmond.
Our bus stop is at the "Super Cheap Auto" bus-stop. Walk through their car park to our street. Other Things to NoteMotorcycle friendly with a workshop and/or mechanic may be available for some repairs. Reasonable hourly rate.
