The SpaceSuper comfy Queen sized bed with quality linen and towels. Reading chair and lamp, wardrobe with shelving and a heater or fan if required.
If your travelling with young children we have comfy pull-out beds and a portable cot and bassinet that you're welcome to use in your room for an extra $20 per night. We also have bunk beds available in another room close by for older children, at an additional cost of $25 each per night.
The bathroom has a large spa bath and separate shower and hand wash basin, the toilet is separate.
The house is fully fly-screened so you can leave windows and doors open day and night without worrying that any flies, mozzies or bugs will come in. Its so nice to have fresh country air circulating and it keeps it cool in the warmer months.
We also have a bathroom with disability access in another wing of the house and a wheelchair ramp leading up into the house if you require it. This wing is adjoining the house so will provide you access to all other areas except the upstairs lounge.
The house can accommodate either single travellers, couples or larger families and groups of up 14 or more. Its a perfect venue for events, residential workshops or small weddings.

The NeighborhoodThe Kauaeranga Valley is known world wide for it's Pinnacle Walk, and other day treks, there's a fresh water river winding it's way through the valley that's refreshing, stimulating, and rejuvenating to swim in.
Thames has some lovely cafes, restaurants, museums, Gold Mining Tours, coastal treks, Twin Kauri's, fishing charters, Thames Saturday Markets, the Hauraki Rail Trail (bicycle trail), and so much more! You could stay here and use this property as a base to explore the Coromandel Peninsula, Cathedral Cove, Waihi, Whangamata, Whitianga, Coromandel Driving Creek Railway, Pauanui, Tairua, Hot Water Beach, just to name a few locations suitable for short day trips and adventures. Getting AroundThere is no public transport servicing the Kauaeranga valley, so you will need transportation to and from this property. There are taxi's available in Thames, or with prior arrangement, we may be able to pick up from the Thames Visitor Centre.
