    Los Rayos de Esperanza is the perfect house for large groups. The home is located on a beautiful wooded property only 15 minutes from Granada and 45 minutes from Managua, in Diriomo, one of NicaraguaĂ­s Pueblos Blancos (White Towns). Diriomo, with it's higher altitudes and proximity to Mombocho Volcano, boasts cool breezes and lower temperatures than the nearby cities of Granada and Managua. After entering the security gates, the drive takes you through a lushly landscaped paradise. The drive will end at the Main House which has an inviting wrap-around patio filled with colorful hammocks, dining tables and chairs and comfortable sitting areas. Upon entering the Main House you will find a large dining area with seating for 24. The room is very comfortable with many windows which allow not only natural light but also cool breezes. There is additional seating for 18 on the front patio if needed. The kitchen is spacious with plenty of workspace, a beautiful custom made island, two sinks and enough kitchen ware to cook for very large groups. In the Main House, there are three bedrooms and two baths. One bedroom sleeps eight, and another sleeps five. Linens and towels are plentiful for all the guests. Detached from the Main House is a Guest House which has two bunk-style rooms, each with (7) seven beds. The Guest House is constructed of local red brick which tends to keep the rooms cool and comfortable. Each room also has its own full bath. A short distance from the main house, sits a rustic cabana with additional sleeping for six guests who want the true Nica experience.

    The SpaceThis rental rural lodge is perfect for a group or small family (three bedrooms, three bathrooms – can accommodate six people). It’s located on the Mombacho Volcano, 20 minutes from Granada and offers spectacular views, trails and an iguana farm, inside the coffee farm property. Description The Space “El Refugio” House, a rural lodge, is located in a 180 hectares farm on the Mombacho Volcano dedicated to coffee, reforestation and biodiversity. The property which has been in the family since the 1900s, collides with the Natural Reserve Volcano Mombacho, only 20 minutes from the Colonial City of Granada. The large terrace provides a panoramic view of the majestic Volcano Mombacho on one side, and the Nandaime plain on the other. In addition to beautiful landscapes, amazing sunsets, fresh mountainous air, and the beauty of the views, this property offers walking and hiking trails with cultural themes, observation decks in the middle of the woods, “chocoyero”, an iguana farm, and an open space mariposarium. Additionally you can rent horseback riding and the Mombacho Canopy is just a few minutes away. This rental home is perfect for a group or a family. It has one master bedroom including a queen size bed, and two additional bedrooms with two twins beds to accommodate a total of six people. All rooms share a large terrace (“corridor”) from you can relax with the breeze coming from the mountains, or just lay in the hammocks with a book. Additionally, each bedroom has its private bathroom. There is a fully equipped kitchen, with microwave, coffeemaker, refrigerator and a barbecue. Also is has its own silverware and pans. From the Finca you can enjoy swimming as we are located close to the beautiful Laguna de Apoyo. It is the cleanest and most beautiful lake in the entire Nicaragua. The natural reserve of the volcano Mombacho is the perfect place for you if are into difficult hikes and wildlife all around you. There are also several local communities which are fascinating to explore such as San Juan del Sur or Catarina. You can also travel easily by bus to Granada or Managua, both cities are in a short distance. To buy food and drinks there is a supermarket and several grocery stores in Diriomo. If you like to explore a local marked which a huge variety of fruits and vegetables, Masaya is the place to go. Buses leave from Diriomo every 15 minutes and it takes about 40 minutes to Masaya. Getting AroundWe are located in la Zopilota village, 3km from Diriomo. Diriomo itself is about 30 min by bus from Granada (10 C$) and 60 min from Managua. - If you arrive from the south (Rivas, Isla Ometepe), take a bus to Managua and get off at the gas station in Diriomo. - If you arrive from Granada, take the bus to Diriomo and get off at the central park. - If you arrive from Managua, take a bus to Rivas, Penas Blancas, Nandaime, or San Juan del Sur and get off at the gas station in Diriomo. From Diriomo take a moto taxi (30-50 C$). Tell the driver to go to Zopilota, 80m south of the church. Be aware, there is an other Finca Aleman 800m before ours, don´t stop there. The Lodge is a quiet space, perfect for those who want to unplug from it all, and reconnect with themselves and nature. It is also the perfect spot for families that want to enjoy the beauty that the Natural Reserve has to offer, in a safe space for children. We offer lunch, snacks and dinners at an additional cost. All our meals are prepared with the freshest seasonal ingredients, locally sourced, and free from refined sugars and dairy. We can accommodate any dietary needs always within a plant based offering.
