The SpaceThis home is very relaxed, and I love people travelling through! The space has 2 good sized double bedrooms, one with a TV. There is a single bed in a private studio, which is separated from the house. All are bright and airy. The bathroom has a bath and shower, and towels and shampoo are available for you.
Downstairs there is a living area with a fire, which is free to anyone to relax in. The kitchen has all the necessities, toaster, kettle, microwave, oven, etc. Please make yourself at home!
The patio area is gorgeous, it overlooks a field and is incredibly tranquil. Guest AccessFree wi-fi and off road parking. You can wash and dry your clothes, as well as use the fridge and freezer. Interaction with GuestsI have lived in this area for 20 years now, and can tell you all about it! I love meeting new people, but if you want to be left alone, then thats no problem as well. The NeighborhoodThe area is quiet, it's a small 5 house cul-de-sac. You can hear the birds and the river that runs alongside the house. However, the city is really close! It's a 5 minute drive to Lisburn centre, and a 15 minute drive to Belfast. In between Lisburn and Belfast is the Lisburn road, which is a beautiful area for shopping or coffee. There are continuous buses and trains passing through, which are about a 10 minute walk from my door. Taxis to Belfast are roughly £10.
In Belfast you can find amazing nightlife, clubs and lots of pubs which wonderfully display our culture. There are great shopping areas and restaurants as well, for all types of budgets.
The best thing about the location, in my mind, is that my home is surrounded by nature. The Lagan river runs alongside the house, and you can go on many walks, runs or cycles beside it. A tow path runs from my back door right into Belfast. At times there are cows in the field as well! Getting AroundBus route is a 10 minute walk from my door.
Taxis to Belfast city centre are roughly £12.
15 minute drive to Belfast City, 5 minutes to Lisburn City.
