7 min walking distance to Stabekk, where there is a cafe, a few restaurants, grocery store and pharmacy.
The house is located in a close proximity to the water. You can enjoy a walk to Nansen park, or a jogging tour along the sea (5 min away), visit a lovely restaurant and cafe by the water surrounded by old pine tress. Getting AroundThere is a parking lot by the house, no problem parking a car.

The house is very close to Oslo downtown, 12 minutes to Aker Brygge, 15 to Karl Johan by bus.
A bus stop "Kveldsroveien", 50 m away from the house, is in the same public transport zone as the rest of Oslo (although we belong to a municipality called Bærum).

If you arrive to Gardemoen Oslo airport and opt for train, you can whether take a regular train, or an airport express Flytoget (180 NOK) to st. LYSAKER
**When you leave DEPARTURE area, take to the right and walk to the end of the hall, where you will find ticket office and machines for buying tickets
From LYSAKER at the platform 1 take bus # 151 (towards RYKKINN) to bus stop "KVELDSROVN", - NB! remember to press STOP button ;-)
The bus goes every 15 min, In the evenings, Sunday it goes every 30 min, leaving at xx.21 ,xx. 51, etc The trip takes 4 min
From the bus stop Kveldsrovn to the house
When you go off the bus, you would be at Shell Stand gas station, cross it towards a brown wooden wall, walk thru the door, and turn to the left, walk up hill 50 meter :-) Brown house with a green roof.
From Oslo (Bussterminalen, Nationaltheatret, Lysaker, etc):
green bus #151 (towards Rykkinn /ree-kin/) on the way back.
It's 2 stops from Lysaker

It's cheaper to travel if you buy your tickets prior to boarding the bus.
If you buy tickets on a bus, it's 70NOK from Oslo, or 50NOK to Oslo.
One trip costs 30NOK either way if you buy
1) via an app Ruter (URL HIDDEN) or
2) in a store/kiosks such as Narvesen, or 7-Eleven.

Please note that sofa bed on the 2nd floor is 130x200cm.
Most of the guests are happy with it, however it might be far from ideal for very tall, big persons.
Another room has two single beds.
The apartment does not have a fully equipped kitchen.

There is a kettle, a microwave oven, and a fridge.
The hosts can serve you breakfast (50NOK per person) with bread, or croissant and cold cuts.
You can request breakfast before 19.00 a day before.
*Most of the stores and groceries are closed on Sundays.
There is a washing machine in the house, please contact the hosts if you need to use it.
