The SpaceLocated in the countryside you will enjoy year-round perfect warm weather, close contact with nature and good harmony.
We are in the safe and quiet neighborhood El Tropico. It's really close to the Chan Chan ruins. Next to the hostal, you can walk around the ancient city Chimu and discover the archeological site.
By public transportation, it's at ten minutes from Trujillo center, ten minutes from Huanchaco beach, and seven minutes from the airport. From Trujillo, you have to take the Huanchaco collectivo in direction to the beach and stop at El Tropico. Ask the driver to let you off at the church San Jose located just after the Chan Chan ruins.
From Huanchaco, you can take any collectivo which goes to Trujillo and ask the driver to let you at the church San Jose just before the Chan Chan ruins.
When you're at the church cross the street and enter El Tropico. Then follow the main street, turn on Calle los Pinos (third street on the left), pass the park and knock at the green doorway with white wall on the right.
From the airport, the taxi should not ask for more than 10 NS to drive you at the Hostel. From Trujillo and Huanchaco, the taxi should not ask for anymore than 15 NS. Be sure to negociate the price before taking the taxi. Other Things to NoteIt's ok to drink alcholic beverages, but always responsably and without excess. If you're a smoker there are pleasant and specific places where you can smoke in the garden.
We would also like to let you know that we have two friendly (and cute) dogs who live in the garden.
