The SpaceOur flat has one bedroom with a double bed, a bathroom, with bath and electric shower and an open-plan living room and kitchen. It has gas-fired central heating and is on the ground floor of a quiet, traditional tenement building with a nice garden area to the rear. Golfhill is a 3 storey stone built apartment building just off the street called Ramoyle. A path along the front of the building leads to the entrance for flat 3B, which is on the ground floor. The property is 10-15 mins walk from the station - up a quite steep hill. There is on-road parking 30 metres away, with additional options nearby. . Guest AccessGuests have exclusive use of the whole flat and we would like you to feel completely at home there. Interaction with GuestsWe would hope to meet you on arrival to welcome you. We live close by and would take our lead from you in how much contact you would like. We will certainly do all we can to help make your stay a good one. The NeighborhoodOur flat is in a great neighbourhood. The Ramoyle area of Dunblane is a Conservation Area and is very historic and quaint. It is also a very safe and quiet neighbourhood and a short walk to the town centre. Getting AroundDunblane is very well connected by train and bus to Edinburgh, Glasgow, Auchterarder, Perth and Dundee. Our flat is at the top of a hill, 10 minutes walk downhill to the train station and bus stop, perhaps a little longer coming back up. If you have mobility issues or difficulty walking uphill there are taxis available outside the train station. There is also on-street parking adjacent to the flat. For guests booking weekly accommodation (at least a day in advance) will be provided with a 'Welcome Pack', containing a Continental Breakfast for the first morning. Basics are in the apartment but need to be replenished by the guest. The NeighborhoodBraco has a lot of historical interest from The Roman Fort of Ardoch to a 15th Century bridge and also benefits from walks straight from the doorstep. The apartment is set at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac and has a garden with seating. There is a village shop selling basics, hot snacks and is licensed. Getting AroundThe property is just two miles from the A9 and only 45 minutes by car from both Edinburgh and Glasgow airports (collection from airport is possible, contact us for further details). There are bus services to Stirling and Perth (No.47) with Dunblane railway station 7 miles away. The central location offers guests easy travel to visit the many tourist attractions in the; Heart of Scotland, The Highlands and Trossachs.     Dunblane is an attractive and perfectly located cathedral town at the entrance to the Scottish Highlands. Having the advantage of being situated just four miles North of Stirling and 12 miles South of Gleneagles, Dunblane is an ideal location for exploring Scotland. The town has it's own railway station, a stone throw from the apartment, which has excellent transport links and is just minutes from the main motorway roads. The spacious four bedroom apartment is situated in Dunblane town centre and has recently been refurbished to a very high standard. The decor throughout is modern and tasteful with brand new carpets and furniture. It has four luxurious double bedrooms, a large living/dining room, kitchen, utility room and bathroom with separate shower and bath. The apartment can sleep up to a maximum of 8 people. The living room has a comfortable leather corner suite plus a dining table for six. With a wall mounted 37 inch TV with SKY television (including SKY SPORTS) available. The apartment also benefits from free WIFI throughout. Two bedrooms have Large Double beds, the other two both have two singles which can be joined together to make Super King size. There is plenty of storage space within the rooms with ample wardrobe and cupboard space. The NeighborhoodAshfield is a historic 18th century mill village of 55 houses, situated on the beautiful Allanwater a mile and a half upstream from Dunblane, and a mile and a half downstream from Cromlix House. There are many lovely walks and cycle trails to explore in the heart of Scotland. We are only a mile off Scotland's arterial highway, the A9 which can take you North to Loch Ness to see the monster, West to Glencoe where Skyfall was filmed, or even further North West to visit Harry Potter's Glenfinnan Viaduct. ( If you have a Ford Anglia you'll be able to make it immediately. Conventional transport will be a bit longer. Scotland is a big wee country!) We are 45 mins from Loch Lomond. Getting AroundIt's best to have a car or bike or to love walking. Other than that it's taxi or a not too regular bus service from the village. We are a mile from Dunblane Train station, a mile from the A9, a mile from Cromlix House, 5 miles from Doune Castle, 7 miles from Stirling . Other Things to NoteDO NOT TRUST SATNAVs to find us. Follow our directions which you will get when you book, not SATNAV! Ashfield is a peaceful rural environment and is perfect for a quiet break for walkers & cyclists or drivers exploring the heart of Scotland. We are only 15 minutes from Doune where "Outlander" was filmed at the Castle, and 20 minutes from Stirling and The Trossachs and all their historical attractions. We are 10 mins from Cromlix House and about 45 mins from Loch Lomond. The one thing guests say to us is "We wish we had booked longer". We strongly advise you stay at least two days to gain the benefit of our lovely area.

              Dunblane is an attractive and perfectly located cathedral town at the entrance to the Scottish Highlands. Having the advantage of being situated just four miles North of Stirling and 12 miles South of Gleneagles, Dunblane is an ideal location for exploring Scotland. The town has it's own railway station, a stone throw from the apartment, which has excellent transport links and is just minutes from the main motorway roads. The spacious four bedroom apartment is situated in Dunblane town centre and has recently been refurbished to a very high standard. The decor throughout is modern and tasteful with brand new carpets and furniture. It has four luxurious double bedrooms, a large living/dining room, kitchen, utility room and bathroom with separate shower and bath. The apartment can sleep up to a maximum of 8 people. Close to Stirling and Doune Castle (popular filming location which has featured in Monty Python the Holy Grail, Game of Thrones and Outlander), Gleneagles & Trossachs. Our apartment is on the second floor (top floor) with no lift. The block is also occupied mostly by elderly retired residents and noise travels throughout the communal areas. For this reason I’m afraid the apartment is not suitable for children under the age of 10 years old.
