Small room with a bathroom which is shared with one other (URL HIDDEN) room is not huge but it has everything you need. You can sit at the table in the dining room to use your laptop if you want more space. Limited access to kitchen although things can be kept in the fridge/ freezer and you can put your dishes in the dishwasher. You can make sandwiches and simple salads but not cook big meals. Interaction with GuestsAs much or as little as they wish The Neighborhoodno problems, easy access to supermarkets, take aways, buses, restaurants, cinema, bowling, Getting Aroundbuses, trains, motorway nearby. 30 mins drive to Edinburgh airport. Directions to my Bed and Breakfast will depend on where you are coming from. We are situated off Dunlin Drive. Easiest way to get here from Edinburgh is by car or train - straight to Queen Margaret train station in Dunfermline in approx. 32 mins. Then you can either walk to my house in approx. 12-13 mins if you haven't too much luggage or get a taxi for about £5 or at certain times of day I offer a pick up and drop off service for £2 a time (much cheaper than a taxi but must be pre arranged as I have to coordinate it with breakfast times etc so may not be able to do it at certain times) If driving here it depends where you're coming from so I can give more help once I know that but basically if you exit the M90 from Edinburgh/Inverness/Dundee, or the A92 from Kirkcaldy take the exit signed Duloch Park, pass a leisure park on your left with several restaurants (in case you're hungry,) cross small roundabout which leads to leisure park, then at the next larger roundabout take the second exit onto Dunlin Drive, (from this point it's about one mile to my house)...cross over 3 further small roundabouts and eventually you'll come to a street on your right called Braemar Drive -it's near the end of Dunlin Road- there is also an entry point into Braemar Drive at the third roundabout but don't take that first one or you might get lost. Turn into Braemar Drive, then left into Arniston Road, then left into Brodick Gardens. We are in the middle of the crescent, no houses opposite us. We are the only house with a red door and number 20 is clearly on the door. You can park either on the stones to the right of my garage or on the driveway in front of the right hand garage if it is free (the left side belongs to my neighbour). Other Things to NoteI offer a simple breakfast of cereal, toast, jams, fresh fruit, juice, tea and coffee. You can store food in our large fridge freezer. Use of kitchen is limited - cooking big meals is not permitted.

Dunfermline's royal and monastic past dominate the town which boasts a royal palace, a 12th Century Abbey (final resting place of Robert the Bruce and burial site of eleven other Scottish kings and queens), a restored 15th Century Abbot House and the cave in which St Margaret bathed the feet of the poor. King Malcolm Canmore established his court after the death of Macbeth (yes, that Macbeth!) at the now ruined fortified tower in the heart of what is now the horticultural splendour of Pittencrieff Park. The town also has a modern shopping centre, and a variety of restaurants, pubs and nightclubs.
