Overlooking Lerwick Harbour, you have a premium viewpoint and an excellent base for all activities you may wish to undertake during your visit. This spacious accommodation of 100 square metres with underfloor and central heating, sleeps up to 6 people, comprising 2 double bedrooms and a twin room for flexibility. We also have a cot available on request. This apartment is accessed by a spiral staircase, please note this apartment is not suitable for those who are phyisically unable to climb stairs.

Scalloway with it's castle and museum is about 8 miles away. The airport and RSPB reserves at Mousa (7 miles) and Sumburgh (20 miles) are nearby. Jarlshof and Scatness, near the airport are about 20 miles away. There are sandy beaches near-by too. Getting AroundThere is a No 6 bust stop on the main road. This is the bus to get from Lerwick to the Airport.

To get to the accommodation: from the airport take the bus into town (buses run on a regular basis) get off the bus at the station and walk to the centre of town, roughly 5 minutes walk, look for a shop called the fish bowl and there's a lane just to the left of the bank of Scotland head up that lane and it's the second door on the left of the lane, and the top buzzer opposite a solicitors called tait and Peterson. From the ferry is about a 20 minute walk or a 5 minute taxi ride Other Things to NotePlease note that this flat is on the top floor and there is no lift in the building so it is not suitable for people who require wheelchair access or who have limited mobility. Suitable for 2 guests comfortably but can sleep up to 4 as there is also a sofa bed available

          We have 9 apartments. Each with its own front door, kitchen and bathroom facilities CORBIE is our 4 star ground floor apartment in the town centre (sleeps 5 in a double & family room). THE DECCA is in a hillside setting - 5 mins drive and 20-30 mins walk into town centre. Here we have 3 One bedroom apartments (1st floor) which are 4 star rated. On the ground floor we have 2 Three bedroom houses and 3 Two bedroom apartments, they are all 3 star rated. Each apartment has its own private entrance. There is car parking within the wooden fenced garden grounds. Our minimum stay is 2 nights (1 night if you are arriving within 4 weeks).             Built in 1886 and renovated and refurbished to a very high standard, the accommodation provides 3 spacious bedrooms, 2 double (one with shower room) and one twin bedroom, sleeping up to 6 persons. In addition, there is a fully fitted kitchen and bathroom with access to a shared garden. We have tried, wherever possible, to retain the original features of this building which dates from 1886. New double glazed conservation windows, solid oak floors, deep skirting boards in keeping with the character and period of the building, whilst giving our guests the benefits of all the usual mod-cons. Our self catering accommodation is situated next to Historic Scotland's Fort Charlotte, in the Shetland capital of Lerwick. Guests will be welcomed on arrival and all assistance given as requested. The NeighborhoodThe area is very quiet and safe situated off the main road on a private lane. There are no street light just peace and quiet except perhaps the chatter of birds in the early morning. Beautiful tranquil walks are on the doorstep. Very friendly neighbours who would be will to chat an d give directions if needed. Getting AroundAmple parking is available outside the accommodation. However if using public transport the main bus route is situate at the bottom of the road - 2 min walk. This will take you straight into Lerwick (Northlink ferry) or Sumburgh (airport). However if you want to take full advantage of what Shetland has to offer I would strongly recommend you take a car or hire one to use while here. Other Things to NoteOn the main bus route twenty miles from Sumburgh airport and five miles to main town of Lerwick. Although very central and easy to commute around Shetland a car would be an advantage. Ample,parking is available at the accommodation.

                        South Ness House offers a quiet peaceful and comfortable place to stay yet it is only ten minutes walking distance from Lerwick's town centre. South Ness House is a spacious 100 year old home in historic Lerwick with panoramic sea views . The accommodation includes a large double bedroom with double aspect sea views, a bathroom and use of an elegant breakfast room over looking the sea. There is a separate area to dry outdoor clothing. There is also another double bedroom available which can sleep two. If both bedrooms are occupied, the bathroom and the breakfast room are shared facilities. The hosts occupy the rest of the house and have their own facilities. Whilst the hosts are happy to provide advice and guidance, guests have complete privacy in their part of the house. There is ample off street private parking and secure storage for sports equipment such as fishing rods, bikes and golf clubs.

                          We have 9 apartments. Each with its own front door, kitchen and bathroom facilities CORBIE is our 4 star ground floor apartment in the town centre (sleeps 5 in a double & family room). THE DECCA is in a hillside setting - 5 mins drive and 20-30 mins walk into town centre. Here we have 3 One bedroom apartments (1st floor) which are 4 star rated. On the ground floor we have 2 Three bedroom houses and 3 Two bedroom apartments, they are all 3 star rated. Each apartment has its own private entrance. There is car parking within the wooden fenced garden grounds. Our minimum stay is 2 nights (1 night if you are arriving within 4 weeks).                             Built in 1886 and renovated and refurbished to a very high standard, the accommodation provides 3 spacious bedrooms, 2 double (one with shower room) and one twin bedroom, sleeping up to 6 persons. In addition, there is a fully fitted kitchen and bathroom with access to a shared garden. We have tried, wherever possible, to retain the original features of this building which dates from 1886. New double glazed conservation windows, solid oak floors, deep skirting boards in keeping with the character and period of the building, whilst giving our guests the benefits of all the usual mod-cons. Our self catering accommodation is situated next to Historic Scotland's Fort Charlotte, in the Shetland capital of Lerwick. The accommodation is ideally located for tourist and business visitors alike. Not only are we next to Fort Charlotte, the apartment overlooks the main shopping street and the harbour.

                                This Lerwick property “Hjaltland” is a newly refurbished bright & airy first floor flat situated in a spacious residential cul-de-sac with easy off-road parking. This well-equipped luxury holiday accommodation in Lerwick has been completely refurbished in early 2011 and now boasts a brand new kitchen, bathroom, and bedrooms all decorated to the very highest of standards. All bedlinen, towels, hairdryer, iron and ironing board are supplied. We also provide a good selection of interesting books, games, maps and DVDS for visitors use. Outdoors there is a shared garden and washing-line (with the apartment below), however, a small flight of steps just outside the front door leads onto open grassland which slopes down to the spectacular Lerwick coastline where wildlife and birdlife are in abundance. There is plenty of allocated parking outside the small apartment block and across the road.

                                  Newhall cottage is set in an idyllic location on the island of Bressay with stunning views across Lerwick harbour. Newly refurbished to a very high standard and less then a 10 minute journey on the ferry from the heart of Lerwick makes Newhall a perfect base to relax and visit the Shetland Islands. The cottage is a traditional Shetland croft house which has been refurbished to high standard to provide guests three comfortable bedrooms which can provide accommodation for up to six guests. peaceful location with views across the harbour to Lerwick makes our cottage is the perfect place to relax and unwind while exploring the sights and activities the beautiful Shetland islands has to offer. Bedrooms The cottage sleeps up to six people, with a double bedroom on the ground floor, large family bedroom on the first floor with double bed and a single bed and a further single bedroom on the first floor. The NeighborhoodScalloway is a small picturesque fishing village. We have beautiful mature gardens with cultivated and wooded areas and an open field which leads down to the sea. Our location is very quiet with Shetland ponies or sheep on one side and the Scalloway Museum on the other. Castle Gardens is within yards of historic Scalloway Castle. Getting AroundParking space is available in the driveway. A regular bus service operates between Scalloway and the main town of Lerwick.
