The SpaceAll furniture is custom made. There is a queen size four poster bed and a double sleigh bed, all hand finished, in two bedrooms. The third room in the loft area has a queen and single bed.
There is full DSTV, TV, computer and printer to use, free, unlimited WiFi. The solid, raw Balau dining table lends itself to plating directly on the wood, and the farm-style arrangement make cooking and dining a pleasure.
Outside you have access to a private pool and a braai.
The home has ceiling fans, mosquito nets, and White River is Malaria free. The furniture, paintings and objects are of exceptional quality, and should please be treated with care.
There is some small game and abundant birds on the estate, but the Bush Babies abound, and can be heard and often seen, if one is careful about it. Guest AccessGuests will have full access to all facilities and amenities. There are an electrified perimeter security fence and a controlled gate, but no fences between neighbouring homes, and a stroll is possible, with the expectation that the privacy of other residents will be respected. Interaction with GuestsWe will be available to help you settle in, help with arrangements, and inform you of the best restaurants and entertainment in the area. We also know local artists, and there is quite a bit to see. The Casterbridge Art Gallery also has regular exhibitions, and the Casterbridge Cinema allows you to take in your glass of wine, and order your pizza. Very adult.
For the entertainment of children, Nelspruit has malls and cinemas, while everyone should enjoy Chimp Eden, which offers a home for abused and neglected primates, and is a great way to spend a morning. God's Window, Graskop and the escarpment drives are within an hour of the estate, as is Hazyview. The NeighborhoodSecluded, accessible and within easy reach of the Kruger Park as well as the Escarpment destinations, this home, exceptionally furnished, friendly and convenient, offers everything a traveller might want, if he wants to enjoy the spirit of Lowveld living. Getting AroundThere is very little public transport in the Lowveld, but there are Kruger Park tours which leave from town. A hired car is easy to get from the airport (ten minutes away from the house), affordable, and the most practical way to travel. Transfers can be arranged. Other Things to NoteThe estate is located along 1.6 km of dirt road, accessible to all vehicles except the very low. (A Porsche has used the road regularly, AND CAREFULLY). The road does allow mountain biking, while once on the tar White River is a few minutes away.
