The SpaceOur luxury 1000 square foot (2 bedroom) beach houses are affectionately known as “Jungalows”. There are 2 of these - Ebb and Flow, side by side but totally private and with their own entrances. We have a friendly team on site to make sure you are fully looked after during your stay - with local recommendations, home cooked meals and freshly made beds!

We have 4G wireless internet, air conditioning, 400 thread count sheets, private swimming pool, rainshowers in every bathroom, BBQ and a staff of 3!

Things to Do: Although Sri Lanka is still developing it does include a huge range of things to do within a 30 km stretch of coast… Whale watching, visit a snake park (snake doctor), tea estates, ancient temples, train rides down the coast, learn to surf, beach parties, lagoon boat trips, scuba diving, ayurvedic massage. There is also an abundance of public transport and small local places to eat! Guest AccessYou have access to everything in your Jungalow (including your own swimming pool and wireless access) and the welcome area out front! Interaction with GuestsWe are a serviced villa with an onsite chef (Indika) and a duty manager (Kelum) We do not live on site but live near by and usually check in with you every few days. We are usually just a phone call away :-) The NeighborhoodWe are located in a great position - between Marissa and Unawatuna, 20 minutes from either of these great spots for nightlife and shops. In Midigama (where your jungalow is) it is slightly more relaxed and not so touristy - which is a good thing in our opinion! But you do have a place for fresh juices right next door , great Roti's (local short eat/snack) at Roni's, good social atmosphere over at Rams (good place for a beer) and even a coffee shop (Coffee Point) with great expresso less than 500 metres down the road! You are also close to a great swimming beach (just 30 metres down the road) and what my fiance would say is most important - GREAT SURF SPOTS... scattered along the coast either side of the jungalows Getting AroundYou have a railway station less than 1km down the road, you have public buses that can take you past Welligama or Marissa or the other way to Galle. Very easy to catch, just flag one down! (less than 50 cents can get you 20 minutes either side of the coast to some great eating and drinking spots. Buses do not really run after 9pm though so you might have to grab a tuk tuk (3 wheeler) home. Those too are easy to catch and as long as you negotiate before your trip you are likely to get a fair deal! We can help with that stuff once you are here :-)
